What my obey me ships would do for Valentine's day

Dialuci

Diavolo gives Lucifer a small envelope and when Lucifer opens it its two tickets to Lucifers favorite metal band and he is ecstatic. He got lots of kisses and thank yous after. Lucifer felt bad that he just was taking him to a dinner but Diavolo didnt mind, as long as Lucifer was happy he didnt care what they did. As long as he had private moments at night with him he didnt care.

Barbeel

Breakfast in bed, Lunch, and dinner together, all valentines themed. Barbatos loves cooking for Beel, Beel loves his cooking its a win win. Beel always makes an effort to admire his boyfriends work before eating it, didnt always work but the effort was there. Beel gave him cuddles and kisses throughout the day as a thank you, he did also get Barbatos flowers and some teas Barbatos loves, he needed to show Barbatos he loved him, even if the notion was small.

Simeon x Levi

Simeon made a little romantic dinner (with all of levis safe foods of course while it doesn't scream romantic dinner, its sweet), and Levi made a cute little area in their shared Minecraft world. The agreement is Levi has dinner with him (always in a quiet area so Levi didnt get overstimulated), Simeon would play Minecraft with Levi. And after they always end the night with some kisses and cuddles.

SoloSatan

Satan isnt really into Valentine's day, but he lets Solomon give him a rose and some chocolates, as long as he also gets a new book. And solomon does, he had Satan make a wish list so Solomon could get him anybook he wanted. Satan of course returns the favor by giving Solomon a new spellbook he would want to try. So that way at the end of the day, theyre cuddling and reading their new books over some hot and iced coffee, and chocolate eating.

MephisRaph

One word to describe Raphael during this holiday, spoiled. Hes spoiled absolutely rotten. Mephistopheles has the money, why not use it to spoil his angel. He gets him gifts, embroidery things, flowers, chocolates, he pays for dinner, everything. In return all Mephistopheles asks for is a personalized corset, shirt or pants, he absolutely loves Raphaels embroidery and loves to show it off, its a win win. He gets to spoil Raphael, and Raphael gets to do something he loves doing.

So back in November i wrote a fic called "The anguish that created you" And its finished and posted on Ao3! Its mainly about the upbringing of Satan (my au). Its my first seriously written fic but I hope you enjoy it! It is finished so no waiting for updates :3

Some DiaLuci Headcanons i have :3

- Diavolo is very much a thigh guy. He loves to lay his head in Lucifers lap and he especially loves holding Lucifers thigh. However, because he has a very strong grip he unfortunately learned the hard way that if he just grabs Lucifers thigh without warning he would get startled and he would immediately slap Diavolo freaked out. Now he gently touches his thigh then gently grabs until Lucifer taps his hand signaling to him he can grip harder.

- Diavolo is a pretty heavy sleeper, but not as heavy as Lucifer. There have been times Diavolo has had to check if his boyfriend was still alive from how heavy he sleeps.

- Diavolo loves having matching things. Matching outfits, matching nails, matching keychains anything and everything. Lucifer doesn't fully mind it, whatever makes his prince happy.

- one time Diavolo and Lucifer got into an argument Diavolo stood outside the HOL playing classical music because MC told him thats what they did in the movies. He stood out there for an hour until Lucifer walked to the front gate seeing Diavolo, the reason he didnt come out was because he was walking Cerberus and didnt even know Diavolo was over. He found it adorable and made up with him.

Probably gonna come up with more and even some incorrect quotes of them :3 (theyre my second favorite ship. Yes i know my first favorite being the most rare and my second the most popular)

The moment Lucifer asked Simeon/Mammon to come with him, he says no, and Lucifer having to cope with it. (Either as a ship or brotherly love.. or both lol)

Unprotected. and when Lucifer cut his wings off that was the equivalent of birth, the real reason Diavolo gave them a free house is cause he wants to be a good baby daddy but Lucifer doesn't want him directly involved in their sons life.

Now that I think about it while also considering we now know that Diavolo was raised by Barbatos- it makes sense he "favors" Lucifer over Barbie (and says Lucifer is his most trusted something or another)

It also explains why Barbie doesn't outwardly seem upset by it even in the most subbest of subtext, I mean.- if I had a loser son like Diavolo I'd be pretty hyped for him making a single (1) friend >>

Anyways.

Barbatos is just his dad, and yes the word *just* feels insulting but it's true. (Assuming you have friends) you'd know that often times they become a main focus for us over our family, especially as we age and create an identity for ourselves. Family- and most importantly parents in this case, tend to take a backseat to lovers and your closest friend(s).

And it's not necessarily a bad thing! A parent- In a healthy best case scenario, takes the role as someone you can fall back on, someone who is there for you and can provide paternal comfort- and this is exactly the role Barbatos is beginning to take in Diavolo's life as he becomes the next demon king! Diavolo can absolutely not be dependent on Barbie forever, he has to fully grow up one day, and therefore NEEDS to find other people who he can be dependent on in a hopefully healthy way, ie. His right hand man, Lucifer.

(And MC and Levi but fuck those two).

Yes, in some nightmare timeline if Diavolo had to choose between one living and one dying for any reason he'd pick Barbatos. Obviously.

So, tldr; Barbatos is Diavolo's dad, Lucifer is his by proximity best friend and Diavolo is- while oh so excruciatingly slowly- growing as a person and we should follow Barbatos' lead and encourage our baby boy.

And ya, okay maybe it took Diavolo a few more million years than a normal child and also he isn't a child but hey! It worked out I think >:) ;;

Diavolo is kind of a shit ruler if actually you think of it from the demon populations perspective, just imagine

This fucking guy (who is essentially a millennial in demon years) comes around and starts spreading pro angel, pro human propaganda and forcing grown ass adults to go to school?

I'd be the first to try and organize a hostile takeover and get my ass ran by Lucifer and Barbatos

Also the devildom is like, so fucking dystopian and fucked up, like RAD is literally used to control the residents of hell in the most direct way possible, forcing them to wake up and attend "classes" and get punished if they take part in typical demon behavior? All in the name of their shitty rulers SON? Like wtf he's not even the king why can he do this

I'd be so mad if I was older than Diavolo and got the news that I was being forced to go to some cheap human school replica

Do you guys remember that one scene between Diavolo and Barbatos?

The one where Dia, after cool epic fuckary, was like "be honest with me, what do you think of my behavior" and Barbatos, much like a robot gave the auto answer "I think your great" or like smth?

Idk where specifically it's from but it's one of my favorite moments between them because of all the relationship dynamic implications, like the way Diavolo looked after after the fact? The way Barbatos bairly hesitated to answer?

It makes me think about how many times they've had that exact exchange, how many times Diavolo could of came to Barbatos for some sort of reprimand or guidance for anything other than his public reputation and how many times he was probably shut down

Honestly, seeing things that way makes me understand more why Diavolo prefers Lucifer to Barbatos, like-

I feel like Barbatos is constantly lying to him? Like there's no way in hell Barbatos is always just.. on his side?

To date I think there's only been maybe 2 cases of Barbatos evenly slightly against Diavolo? And one of them doesn't even count cause he was just stonewalling him (the silent treatment but it's his job to respond)

So ya anyways, Barbatos is a bad mother sorry

(I'll make an actual headcannon post for my Diavolo Barbatos non-sexual/ parent-child relationship ideas uhh eventually if enough ppl care lol)
