New headcanon/fic idea:

Thanks to his parents' business background, Steve can and does absolutely ROCK the scandalous CEO look. You know the one I mean: lazily slicked back hair; dark blue suit pants with a black leather belt; tucked in white button up that's not buttoned all the way, but also just enough to not make it slutty; the dark blue blazer, fitting to the pants, either draped over his arm with his hand his pocket or hung by his fingers over his shoulder...

And we all know, that a certain blonde will not be able to look anywhere else, let alone be able to think about anything else than hot, rough, nasty office "love" for at least a week gay.

Streamer!HarringroveAU where Steve is the cosy, lo-fi, save space, chill streamer with mostly games like Stardew, Minecraft or other chill indie games and Billy usually plays something like these loud shooters or horror games, in his brash but open and painfully honest dickhead -self.

One day, Steve got coherst to play "Spooky's house of jumpscares", by his viewers because it "looked cute". Billy came across it because he just finished it and suddenly the fanbase overlapers want to see a collab, both think it would be funny so they do it. And it was fun. So did it more.

Thier dynamic? Billy, the flirty loudmouth LEROOYYYY JENKIIIIIINS!!!! and Steve, the level headed, calm enabler who giggles along and flushes easily. And the people are VERY quick to pick up and call the brunette a bottom- as is on twitch. Billy also pick's up on it and starts making jokes about it which only make Steve flustered. And so it goes on, Steve dreamily giggling at Billy's annoyances in the slow paced idle games and Billy flirtatiously flustering Steve whenever he got jumpscared in phasmophobia or something. And of course we can't forget Billy's nicknames, that give Steve the title of bottom in their fandom.

Both their cam backgrounds change at some point, and they seem to have moved in together, shown in their social media. Going outside together and everything. Fans are speculating, writing fanfics, drawing fanart and the whole bunch. And when asked about it, Billy just laughs, while Steve mentions he's only got one pet pieve with them, but won't elaborate what it is. They never confirm but neither denie the dating allegations outright. Until.....

Billy was streaming a round pubg and got really agitated to the point, that when Steve appeared off screen to bring him a sandwich, Billy yelled at him. Steve's face was off screen, the viewers have only seen part of his side and his hand, that flicked his headset off and grabbed his hair to pull his gaze upwards.

"...what was that, William?" And the blonde just instantly calms down, but instead shudders and gasps, then begins to grin bashfully and bites his lip.

"Sorry, I got mad at the game. I didn't mean to yell at you." The brunette pulls a little making the other draw in a sharp breath but giggle slightly... Until he remembers again, that he's live and the chat explodes. Steve just chuckles and lets go, leaving a completely fire red and sputtering, trying to explain himself, Billy to their hungry-for-details audience.

Yo, can someone write me a fanfiction, maybe just a one shot, of Billy joining the group in season 2, that exact night? Like:

No fight between Steve and Billy, because Steve "promised to keep you shitheads safe, and that is exactly what I'm doing to do." And honestly? What could be safer for max in that moment: staying in the house this mind flyer thing knows where they are OR at her home, with her brother who should have a decent punch seen from the basketball court.

So instead of being like "Max? What's a Max? A ginger, like the roots?" He just straight up goes; "you know what, yeah, they've been playing and she definitely should go home, NOW. Just drive, mister 2. place, drive and don't ever look back. Got it Hargrove?" Suddenly screaming and Steve is back in the house immediately- the Demodog wasn't as dead as they thought...

Steve - Stephanos

Through a series of unfortunate events, including but not limited to: love, loss, a heroic death, more chaos thanks to a drunk Zeus ANYWHERE near Tartarus and finally the mercy of two kind gods. Stephanos finds himself in the position of a champion, a Hero under Hades to be more specific.

His main quest? Find lost souls and help them into the underworld, by giving them a proper burial or the necessary money to fair the river styx. Also: "bring back" some of the escapee monsters from Tartarus, for which he has been given a special sword, that absorbs the essence and souls of said monsters and beasts to store and return to Tartarus.

Robin - Rhoda

Coming from a small mountainside village in the proximity of a temple of Zeus, Rhoda's life was always one of property. One day she has had enough and just run off. Quickly she found other women with similar views and learned their craft fast. From then on, she was a part of the sisterhood of the Daughters of Artemis. But she was destined for more than rituals, hunts and a live devotion.

Her main quest? Due to a lost bet between gods, her patron had an open tab.. So she has to find Anteros and escort her to the Temple, so Artemis can finally get her magical quiver back! But gods dam, that kid is nothing but trouble!!

Chrissy - Chryssa

Chryssa grew up well loved by her family, friends and small town. Her wit, bravery and smarts always help her out in life and so caught the eye of a certain goddess... And after her dream of a life caved in, shattering. The comfort she sought, crying in a temple of Athena; she was heard. And she was taught by the goddess of wisdom and battle strategy herself.

Her main quest? There was word amongst the gods about a new born clairvoyant with the power to become the next oracle. But she has to find a way to the temple of Delphine first. So Chryssa was sent to guard and escort her, in safety. But who knew it was going to be this difficult??

Yes, yes I know and I hear you. Vampire!Eddie and Werewolf!Billy having fun with little, puny, cute human plaything named Steve. It's funny. It's hot. Yes.

BUT!! WHAT IF- Steve is a demon, a fallen guardian angel, assigned to watch over Hawkins. He fell to protect in any way necessary, at any cost...

-So of course he's not gonna blow his cover for little, puny, cute paranormal mortals who just have some fun and a nice friendship! Until of course shit goes down and the upsidedown happens. Then Billy and Eddie are just absolutely confused and shocked and one of them drops "are angels and demons even real!?? How!??" - "wait.. does that mean, you actively, deliberately lost against us. Every time??"

"What's so wrong about letting you guys have your fun, if I don't mind?"

Greek Mythology Harringrove AU

Gather 'round my children, for I have hadeth another brain fart... And this is what I woke up with!! Yes, I changed their names because ancient greek, man! Max is okay. Steve, eh gets difficult. Lucas- okay... But Dustin?? Or Nancy?? Anyway!- Steve is a hero, Billy is Eros and they find each others presents strangely comforting.

Of course the others will all also be there, definitely. And they each have their own backgrounds and stories and reasons to do... Uh... Stuff!

I got the idea randomly whilst listening to I won't say I'm in love from Disney's Hercules sooo...

Expect to see more of that in the future! WOOOO!!-

Elevator scene:

ok so let’s do some analysis. we all know season one steve is kinda characterized as an fboy, but season four season steve is general considered to be more of a gentleman and a mother figure. hence, option one would make the most sense.

HOWEVER, there’s the obvious tension between eddie and steve. (and okayyyy maybeeee im a little biased cuz i ship them). steve is also not super physically close with people.

we only see him being physically close with people who he is implied to be romantically involved with.

clearly, we see a lot of physical intimacy between steve and nancy. there is also physical closeness between steve and robin, hinting at steve’s (brief) romantic feelings for robin. beyond that, robin is a far more physically affectionate character than steve and is more casual about physical touch, which is part of the reason we see a physical closeness between the two.

beyond that, we don’t see steve having close physical interactions with other characters. yes, he hugs dustin and whatnot, but this is displayed in a sort of parental light, so it doesn’t align with the qualifications of the intimacy between steve and potential romantic interests.

yet steve has a LOT of physically close interactions with eddie, and in only one season. eddie, much like robin, is displayed to be a bit more casual about this sort of closeness, but the sheer quantity of times steve and eddie are shown close to one another is beyond notable.
