Consider, pregnant Remus Lupin, who, instead of getting pregnancy cravings, stops feeling hunger instead. He gets insanely weak stupidly fast because the baby/babies is consuming all the little nutrients that Remus is managing to get in his system. Sirius, in cannon, is a 6'5 giant who would make fun of the most popular fannon version of him out there. He's not mature enough by fifth year, in the sense that he's a prankster, and doesn't often take other people into consideration. He would do the prank regardless. In this case, the moonwater scenario, whether he acknowledged it or not, deep down, he wanted to get back at Remus for being with Regulus.

Both the Black Brothers definitely make mistakes. We all do. They hold things over each other all the time. They're brothers, their allowed to hold grudges against each other. Also, I meant the rest of his life bit as more of an exaggeration. Obviously, after a while, it's not going to be brought up that often, if at all. Some people need reminders to help them, I mean, growing up in their household, they would learn by being reminded constantly of what not to be. Constantly reminding Sirius could be Regulus' gut instinct on how to stop a repeat, whether it will help Sirius or not.

Also, any ship with Regulus that isn't like Barty or Evan or both or someone in Slytherin is probably going to have Regulus as not a blood supremacist. But it is a huge part of his character. In the end, though, he does change his way of thinking, trying to destroy a horcrux and everything. (I haven't read all the books, so I could be completely wrong on why he went horcrux hunting.) You can just push back when he changes his thinking and change how he does it.

In the end, this, the entire Marauders fandom pretty much, is fannon. Most shippers of queer relationships and mulltishippers exist because of the fanbase and the fact that you can mix and match and change shit up.

I see moonwater as more of a library get-together thing, where Sirius was probably just talking, and he brought Regulus up, and he has a lot to say on the topic. Remus, hearing how much the brothers' relationship is going downhill, he wants to try and fix it because growing up, he never had that sort of connection or any at all really and didn't want them to loose theirs. Also, thinking about it, no one, unless they asked Remus directly (which they probably wouldn't due to his scars), would know if he was a pureblood or not.

Lupin is a pureblood name, and I don't really see Lyall as the type to shout it from the rooftops that he's married to a muggle. He also hid their family away from the world (probably) when Remus was turned. So, no one really knew he existed until Hogwarts.

So Regulus, with a strained relationship with his brother, probably didn't even know that Remus was a half blood. He just saw one of his brother's Gryffindor friends trying to make friends with him in the library. It was a relationship built over a good couple years of studying and careful suggestions and correcting that by the time he found out that Remus wasn't a pureblood, Regulus didn't really have any opinion on it at all.

This confused Regulus a lot and had a mini mid-life crisis where he had to re-evaluate everything he thought he knew and the fact he still wanted to date Remus and that he wasn't repulsed by the fact.

Ultimately, with Remus pushing the brothers, they start to figure their shit out properly and start talking again.

Honestly, it's something Regulus would hold over Sirius' head for the rest of his life. He wasn't there to see the aftermath, to see Remus so incredibly heartbroken because he thought he could trust him with his biggest secret. He wasn't there to see the bed rotting depression Remus was in for the days following after. And it will always affect how Regulus treats Sirius.

Because Regulus was there, he was the one who had to be what Remus needed and tell him that their friendship could be mended and that it was probably an accident that Sirius didn't mean it. Even though Regulus didn't believe what he was saying.

So now that they are out of the danger zone, he is definitely petty. Whenever they have a bad argument, Regulus will throw it in Sirius' face for an instant win, not caring if it was a low blow.

The constant reminder actually helps Sirius grow because it is a constant reminder thrown in his face of what he doesn't want to be anymore and a reminder of the person he wants to work towards to become. Yes, somedays this tactic makes him feel worse rather than better, guilt almost consuming him. But overall, it's making him a better person.

Hy heart that is obsessed with fluff would say the first option, but my gut reaction is that it's both.

Because of the abuse his family had put him under, he wasn't exactly taught how to regulate he emotions. His friends helped with this, but every now and then, he just snaps. At face value, I see Sirius as an attention seeker, most of the time at least. Seeing that one of his first ever friend's attention wasn't souly focused on him and their little group, he became impulsive and did the first thing that came to mind. Unintentionally hurting everyone in the process and losing all his friends for a while.

It takes Sirius about a week to really wrap his head around what he did, with getting yelled at by nearly everyone in their friend circle, before it really hit him that he fucked up. Like he knew he had fucked up before then, but he was clinging to a reality that everything was fine.

He would be consumed with guilt and find himself having a midnight game of chess with Remus a few days later. Where they talk till dawn about everything, and Remus managed to really dig it all up and help Sirius to start to sort out his issues. He's by no means fixed. Their relationships aren't going to be what they were overnight, but it's a start.

A start that is filled with so much regret and guilt and Sirius swearing he will make it up to Remus until the day he dies, but it's a start because five years of memories doesn't go away overnight either.

Thinking of making Sirius 2.0's birthday the 31st of October just to fuck with everyone's mental state because I don't think I'm going to do the whole voldemort saga because that feels like a low blow even for me. But I could kill Lily and James off, send Sirius off to azkaban if we'd like, though I probably won't. Everybody like nobody dies, the real cannon.

Walburga hates Remus with a passion. She hasn't been this passionate about something in a long while. Walburga hasn't even met Remus, probably never will, but she hates him for the fact he is steering Regulus away from the goal at hand. A pure wizarding society.

She was going to kill Remus. If that's what it took to have her grip on Regulus once more, she would do it without a second thought. And she was going to do it too, almost had even, but then word got out that they were expecting child.

She was livid and, for the first time, unsure what to do to get her own way. She hated Remus but became a little bit more tolerant of him, though you'd never be able to tell because she still spoke the same ill of him, but that was a Black heir he was going to be producing, so she was conflicted.

It took Walburga a while but decided she couldn't have a person of Remus' status tainting the bloodline. So him and their now 4 children would have to go, Regulus could always rebuild his family with a pureblood woman.

Regulus was only the tiniest bit ashamed that the first spell that came from his lips when his bitch of a mother tried to attack his family, his beautiful babies, was the killing curse. But he doesn't regret it. He needed his family to be safe.

Remus wouldn't have been able to get his wand in time anyway, with a 4 year old and a 2 almost 3 year old tucked into his sides, a 2 year old in his lap and a new born in his arms while reading them all a story. He hadn't realised that Walburga was even there until Regulus had shouted, and she had dropped dead, too engrossed in their children.

Had a funeral on Tuesday had dance practice on Wednesday, which made me feel like shit since my dance partner was real vocal about not wanting to dance with me and had work Thursday and Friday. So big week.

But on a different note

I'm over 3000 words and 7 pages into a google doc of the first chapter of the 10 bllu children, and here is a tiny fluffy snippet of what I wrote tonight before I go to sleep.

‘How far along are you?’ Regulus questioned, tilting his head to look up at his lover, big grey eyes full of adoring love for his significant other. ‘Umm, three weeks but technically almost two months.’ That managed to get Regulus to pull himself away from his task of giving Remus’ belly as many kisses as possible, sitting up and giving Remus a strange confused look before speaking. ‘What do you mean by that?’

‘Well, I’m a werewolf, so my pregnancy is a little shorter than humans.’

‘How much shorter are we talking?’

‘Anywhere between 2 to 5 months.’

Regulus could have passed out there and then, his mind is instantly swarmed with all they would have to prepare in such little time. And three weeks had already been wasted on thinking that Remus had a bad stomach bug when in reality he had started carrying their little baby. And wow, wasn’t that a thought, they were going to have a baby, a real living breathing human being that was theirs. He couldn’t stop himself from just staring, mouth hanging open. The only way to describe what he was feeling was pure awe, already so insanely proud of Remus for even making it this far.

‘We’re having a baby darling.’ Regulus whispered into Remus’ curls, holding him close to his chest, bringing a hand down between them to rub at Remus’ baby bump. Remus himself had tears in his eyes again, wrapping his arms around his neck and snuggling close.

You can not tell me that the James look alike wasn't the shortest pregnancy out of them all. They were ready to be apart of the world yesterday. Definitely a premature baby even by Remus' wack pregnancy schedule like only a month and a half and caused Remus the most trouble out of any of them other than the Sirius look alike. He almost swore off getting pregnant again if it wasn't for the fact that he fell pregnant with the Peter look alike and it was the smoothest pregnancy he'd had.

Regulus and Remus decided to have one more kid to tie up with the Weasley's and because both Regulus and James, along with Marlene and Sirius, insisted that they should create a family quidditch team.

Baby 7#, 8#, 9#, 10# quadruplets, Remus doesn't think he'd ever been more mad at Regulus for knocking him up than when he found out he was going to be having quadruplets. He honestly didn't think he could do it, though, and frankly, he was scared. Before his mum passed, he'd hear the story about how her own mum couldn't handle giving birth and passed along with the 4 babies.

The way I internally screamed at how much I loved this HC

Regulus would leave the most insane brusies and bites on Remus' waist, and he'd make sure they were in a spot where when the sweater did ride up, they were visible to all.

This would also make Remus really sensitive in this area, and he would have to force himself not to shudder and melt into a puddle every time Regulus grabbed and held his waist, another thing he was obsessed with doing.

We all know the trope of Remus being everyones gay awakening, so I propose the following:

Regulus and Sirius compete for his affection, and the competition is HARD.

They both approach it in their own ways.

Regulus with (book) shopping and calm dates in a tea shop, where they talk until the shop closes. If Remus looks at one single thing for too long, Regulus will buy it for him and ignore all protests. He spoils his little (tall) werewolf.

Sirius is more adventurous, showing Remus (mostly magical, sometimes just pretty) spots in the wild while making sure the hike isn't too exhausting or difficult, trying to coax Remus out of his shell when they go out to different public places ("I feel like everyone is staring at me." - "As they should, you are gorgeous and hot and if I didn't like this place so much, I would fuck you right here.")

But the tension between the brothers is rising, often hissing and spitting poison at each other.

And at one point Remus has enough, because he loves likes both of them too much.

"If you can't learn to share, none of you will have me."

It was a bit weird at first, but at the same time it helped the Blacks become close again, bonding over their love for Remus and finding back to the close bond they had as children.

They even agreed that Remus should marry Regulus, so if something should happen to the brothers he would be taken care of, as Sirius has almost nothing to his name and nobody would dare to mess with the husband of Lord Black.

It might be a weird constellation, but it works for them.
