Yayyy i finally posted a new wolau chapter :D

Yk, when i started working on wolau & planning out the plot, i thought that maybe Grian was a littleee bit ooc, and i made him a bit too paranoid, tight lipped, watcher-like and too prone to being the scape goat & getting blamed for everything...

But uh. For some fucking reason wl!Grian is SO similar to (2. arc) wolau Grian. I can't say why, because spoilers, but WHAT THE FUCK THERES SO MANY SIMILARITIES LMFAO

Anyways, school & irl stuff r taking up my free time so i haven't had time to work on wolau, but hopefully ill be able to release another chapter soon lol

Grrrr i already finished the next chapter for wolau DAYS ago, but i need to finish this painting before i can post it >:(

...Incase yall are wondering why the second chapter is taking so long, it's cause i keep coming up w/ new art ideas for it. Also, I'm only halfway through the chapter and already at 2.3k words... Oops-

I think ill only include the 3 artworks I've already drawn in this chapter so i can try n finish it this week, I'll just post Keralis' & Xisuma's bee outfits with their character designs (once i actually have time to get started on the character designs)

Important question for my hermitcraft fic/au

First chapter of wolau (my hermitcraft au/fanfic) might get posted this week!!! I'm gona try and finish it tomorrow, but i can't make any promises since it's still a WIP...

Hmmm question about ao3 tagging for yall since I've never rly published fics on ao3 (i was a fanfic.de/.net kinda guy)

So my fic, wolau, is focused on a main character (grian) who isn't in a romantic relationship with anyone. However, 2 other members of the main cast (boat boys) have a kind of ambiguous / lowkey romantic relationship. And I'm not sure whether i should just tag it Gen, or both Gen and M/M? Cause there will be some bits and bobs out of their pov.

OH ALSO I might end up splitting wolau into multiple fics (one for each major arc) bc of tags and such, if i end up doing that then the first one will DEFINITELY be Gen, since the relationship only rly starts in the second to third arc

Little update on my hermitcraft Au "wolau"

My current plan is to finish the first chapter until the 18th and possibly post it :D

Since yall choose fics+comics in the last poll, imma try to do both. The thing im not sure about is whether i should just like, write the longfic and then have some chapters be comics (1), make the longfic but add artworks in each chapter to illustrate the scenes (2), or write the longfic and focus it on the main plot and then post like seperate small comics of other characters povs on tumblr (3)

I think option two is the one im probably gona do... But im curious about yalls opinion!!! Feel free to suggest other options too :D

Currently OBSESSED with evil x, my favorite tropes are:

1. Hes not evil. Hes trying to be, but he really sucks at it

2. Hes the scapegoat. The forgotten brother. Hes the one who always got blamed for everything and never had a support system. He became the thing they were scared of out of self defense, out of desperation. He never had a choice. He never wanted this. But at least hes the one getting hurt and blamed for everything, not his brother. (or, alternatively: hes so angry at his brother for getting everything evil x ever wanted to have)

The hermitcraft art request im currently working on is pearl killing Bdubs and imp during double life, after that ill probably draw the one i got about grian perching on cleo and then the others.

Feel free to suggest anything hermitcraft or life series related! It might take a while cause im a slow artist + i got a lot on my plate, but I do try to do all of them :D

I think someone already suggested this, but maybe like using shadowrot aka lizziexcleo would be a cool way to also have boat boys?

but yeah, I've definitely considered this, i just don't know how well it would fit the plot? Both cleo and Lizzy are characters that are only mentioned in passing, but i could at least imply the ship. Actually, the more i think about this, the more I'm realizing this could actually help solve a plot hole....

What if, i made Jizzy cannon, but instead of Joel, Stratos (Joels god) is dating Lizzie.

Bc I'm debating making smalletho cannon and i don't wanna like, kill off lizzie or just not have her in the fic :(

...also i think Lizzie deserves to date a god and not some random wanna be bad boy!!!

for the au i think an ambiguos but romantically leaning boat boys and romantic rendoc would be kinda cool since thats also their character relationships in hermitcraft canon, but totally upto you. i love ur idea btw! its actually so cool

Trueeee, i def wanted to make boat boys ambiguous, but i have SUCH a funny idea for a plot twist revolving around the reveal of whether they r romantic or platonic...

Like a rly silly misunderstanding one, where they r rlyyy ambiguous about their relationship and it causes the other characters to get to a VERY wrong conclusion...

So now im just like. Making lists of things and trying to put it in the right order LMFAO

Also shortening some stuff bc... I feel like what i currently have would "drag on" for too long, so i gotta fix the pacing a bit. I wanna finsih planning out most of it before i post anything else cause i tend to be indecisive and don't wanna accidentally lie LMFAO-
