And here is the deal
- he falls in love with someone he met just one day
- he is banned from leaven the castle for his safety.
-the antagonist/father figure manipulates him and makes him stay in the castle so that he doesn't have contact with the sterior world.
-has an animal companion who talks to him.
-his love interest is oblivious about it.
