Overblot!Yuu. Just OB!Yuu brainrot

Let's say this is after chapter 7 and Malleus already overbloted so he doesn't have that much control over his magic as he did before.

Cause if he did OB!Yuu would be out almost immediately.

The way OB!yuu overblots is because they're constantly under so much stress (we all knew that tho).

They're constantly in a state where they're zoned out which is why they almost never talk and constantly helping others 'cause they want to distract themself.

That's why they don't cut off the people that have wronged them multiple times.

The reason they stay in NRC is because something's always going on and they don't have to think about their situation.

So when they're left alone for too long they start thinking.

OB!Yuu finally grasps the horrible reality of their situation when they're in Ramshackle all by themselves.

When OB!Yuu overblots they look like a mix between a circus performer and the ringleader of a circus.

Their weapon's a whip.

The blot monster behind them resembles The Horned King from "The Black Cauldron".

OB!Yuu has a vast army under them, which includes the troll-like Creeper, the hunters of Annuvin, the draconic Gwythaints, and, obviously, the Cauldron Born.

OB!Yuu would have increased strength and be able to teleport.

OB!Yuu is really cruel to all the boys (Just look at clips of The Horned King but imagine that but also with verbal abuse).

Especially Grim and Adeuce.

They practically put OB!Yuu through hell since their first day in NRC.

Since OB!Yuu doesn't have magic the blot would suck on their life force until they die.

If/when OB!Yuu is finally defeated everyone is tired and in shock.

They never knew OB!Yuu hated them so much! If at all.

Although the constant complains about the head mage and wanting to go home made sense. They had had been in Twisted Wonderland for almost a year now after all.

When OB!Yuu wakes up people try being nicer to them, especially Grim, but OB!Yuu ignores them and is openly distasteful to all of them (maybe besides Jack and Trey).

OB!Yuu skips classes to look in the library for ways home since Crowley obviously isn't doing it.

They also sleep in the library and completely stop feeding Grim since they know the boys will take care of him (plus I'm pretty sure the Mc almost never eats since they're always buying tuna for Grim).

When they can't find anything in NRC they reach out to RSA who are happy to help.

Making OB!Yuu permanently leave NRC.

RSA very quicly finds OB!Yuu a home 'cause there are simaler spells. And after finding OB!Yuu a way home they thank RSA, probably crying, and leave.

When the boys at NRC decide to finally get OB!Yuu they discover theyre gone and sadness ensues.

Brief rundown of the Double-Yuu thing bc it's not that complicated and I don't feel like giving it its own post: There's two Yuus. That's basically the major thing. Ramshackle duo becomes Ramshackle trio.

You've got Yuu, whose description I leave mostly as a blank slate, though they've got their own character. They take on whatever the MC does in the actual game, trying to get home and handling overblots.

And then there's T, who is technically a Yuu as he follows the same pattern of "stranger from another world ends up at NRC" but in his words "I'm not Yuu, we just fill the same ecological niche" which he then refuses to elaborate on. Talents include being strange and unsettling but very friendly and getting into places that He Should Not Be.

Also while writing I realized I accidentally made Aster parallel Malleus. I didn't mean to do that. Now I actually have to DO something about it.

If I'm not gonna work on my assignments I might as well commit to working on the creative thing. Tumblr I'm relying on you to hold me to keep working until I have a full fic and not give up halfway through.

Basic concept: Fake TWST event ft. new made-up school cause I wanna do SOMETHING with it.

Event plot line goes as follows: Despite the first Promising Young Mage Social ending in disaster, the schools agree to attempt holding it one more time. This time, the hosting school will be Twining Fates Academy, due to the school having a reputation for its extremely safe, controlled campus. Crowley ends up raffling another 10 students, but that number goes up to 14 due to the inclusion of Ramshackle dorm + Twining Fates specifically noting that groups of visitors should come in even numbers.

Note that this would take place in what I am referring to as my "Double-Yuu" AU... hence why the inclusion of Ramshackle brings the count to 14.

Deuce: Looks like we're all going to the same class.

Grim: I'm going to outdo all of you.

Yuu: I'm practically your legal guardian already, no one can convince me otherwise at this point.

Crewel: …

Yuu: Don't say another word, I've got enough on my plate.

Crewel: Let's get together once in a while after class, it'll be good for you.

Yuu: Thank you, I could really use someone who isn't a mess of hormones.

Crewel: *putting a hand on their shoulder* My condolences.

Ace: Of course this a prestigious school!

Yuu: And it's free!

Deuce: A-are you ok?

Yuu: *almost crying* I won't have to break my head thinking about what to eat every day.

Yuu: So the students are separated into dorms according to their abilities?

Cater: That is.

Yuu: My 10 year old self is shaking.

Cater: ?

Yuu: I'm in a magical school separated by houses, suck on that reality!!!

Riddle: Rules must always be obeyed!

Yuu: *sarcastic* Yes, of course, because people in positions of power always follow the rules.

Riddle: The world works because of the rules!

Yuu: Oh my boy, what a beating you're going to get when you leave school *sighing*

Grim: Are you the gardener?

Yuu: Grim!! this kind of work is very hard, *to Leona* you must be very tired, I apologize.

Leona: Tsk, I'm a student.

Yuu: *confused* And shouldn't you be in class?

Leona: And shouldn't you be out of school and working?

Yuu: Ouch.

Trey: You're pretty good at cooking.

Yuu: Ha, ha, ha, I've been living on my own for a long time, although this sweets thing is new.

Trey: Why?

Yuu: I didn't have the time or money for that many ingredients.

Deuce: *believing that chicks can born from any egg*

Yuu: My maternal instinct is getting triggered again?

Yuu: *seeing Cater's ability* I could really use that ability, fuck magic with fire and lights, I want to do several things at the same time.

Riddle rejecting the cake

Yuu: Ha ha, how nostalgic…. this reminds me of my first job, the exploitation….

Deuce: What ??

Yuu: *with an empty stare* Yeah, you know, all your hard work and dedication thrown away, like this cake.

Ace: *to Deuce* Are we going to become like this when we grow up ???

Deuce: React yuu!!!

Yuu: *come to their senses* How can you throw food away? I can tell you've never been hungry!

Ace: Aaaand back to "responsible" adult mode.

Trey after explaining Riddle's past

Yuu: So mommy issues? Ha, ha, welcome to the club.

Yuu: Do you think it's okay to have students fighting with magic in this way?

Crowley: It's a healthy duel.

Yuu: How can you still be the director of a place full of minors?

Yuu: This change can only mean one thing… I don't know if I'm ready for this... but as an adult I have to take care of it…

Yuu: * to Riddle* I know you're going through a difficult time, it's normal, but it's also natural. We all go through these changes in our body

Yuu: *after seeing Riddle's flashback* Someone please bring the little boy a strawberry cake.

Riddle: *apologizing and saying everything he wanted to do*

Yuu: That's it, get me on that mother, let's have an adult to adult talk.

Crowley: Yuu no.

Yuu: I'll show her what respectful parenting is NOT.

Riddle: I want to apologize for what happened.

Yuu: Oh, don't worry, it's okay, although I still don't get that magic thing.

Riddle: It was childish behavior.

Yuu: …

Riddle: I wish I could be as mature as you.

Yuu: Hey, don't be in a hurry to grow up. That adulthood thing is a scam, you never feel mature enough.

Riddle: But-

Yuu: What matters is not to be more grown up in certain situations, it's to learn from them and take a note for the next one. And even if I seem more mature as you say, I'm just as lost as you are in some things, don't let anyone fool you, adults don't have everything under control.

In the OG Ocean is sort of Ableist so I'm getting rid of that for Riddle. ( I don't support ableism)

For Yuu you can picture Yuu with either a headless shrimp doll and a shrimp head, or a headless grim doll with a grim head. (Or a regular doll if you're basic)

I will be toning down mentions of sex/porn because I don't feel comfortable writing that (So basically Azul, Sebek, and Idia will be tweaked a little) However I will be keeping the sex worker dream for cater I just will make a few tweaks.

If I change anything else I will simply update it don't he author's notes in Ao3

Hi, how you all doing 😅

I know it's been like a few months since my last post even though I have been online I was honestly hoping on posting some stuff on the Swap!RSA AU but since then some of my ideas have changed so it will take me a while to put it all into post ( I'm mainly working on profiles for each character) but it probably take a few weeks for me to get to it because of internships that just started plus the schoolwork.

Besides that I am honestly working on designs for the Swap!RSA .I'm not an artist and unsure in my ability to edit the Game sprits right know, I might try in the future but I have experience with gacha life 2 so hopefully you all will enjoy the designs I come up with there. These designs will be getting posted along side the characters profiles in hopefully 3-4 weeks

Now probably the next post will be about information and stuff about the School and the RSA Dorms i cane up for this AU, THEN ill start posting the character profiles with the first character getting posted probably being Ace since of the latest book 7 update a few things about how I want his backstory to be have changed along side other things like how his UM works. After him will be the rest of Heartslabyul cast.

I know I didn't have to make a full on psot about this but writing down thoughts and plans sounded fun along side updating the people that are actually interested in my AU, if things become less stressful for me I might even start posting this au on different platforms

Okay so an update on my RSA swap au, yay!

I finally figured out who I wanted Riddle to be twisted from in this au finally, it took such a long time since the white queen didn't make much sense to me she's not exactly from the original Alice in Wonderland movie or book but the sequel "through the looking Glass", and I did want them all to be from the same Book/Movie. Heartslabyul in the Swap au/RSA au, my ideas for these characters are mainly for Ace since I want him to be the one that Overblots in this au

Which led to him having the most lore and ideas, like his backstory with we almost have nothing in canon for besides him having an older brother and a father who isn't a mage. So here are some ideas for his Backstory in the Swap au/RSA au

Backstory

Ace comes from a wealthy family that originates from nobility on his mother's side of the Family. He was raised in Wealth and spoiled, almost always getting what he wanted. He was also a gifted child who learned fast and quickly without Problems. However, Ace getting gifts was a way to distract him from their absences in his daily life with work until he was 6 years old when his cat he got gifted when he was 3 named "Diana" went missing, he tried to do anything to get his parents' attention for help to do something, his older brother "$%6$?" tried helping but nothing they couldn't find her. Then Ace on his own went searching for her in the Garden, mainly the Maze he easily got lost and ended up following an animal he thought was Diana. Sadly it wasn't instead it was a white rabbit that led him to a broken tree where he found a hole under, in that small hole, laid the body of his beloved cat Diana covered in blood. Ace screamed scared and ran back home trying to find his parents, brother or a servant to help him with what he just found nobody believed him, already being over the fact of Diana going missing and accepting it as she left. Ace tried anything to have his parents go to that tree and look he studied to get perfect scores and did extra classes just for them to go and look and they did a year later but instead of finding Diana under it there was nothing, Ace was confused but didn't voice anything when his parents angrily told him he was wasting there time. Ace continued to visit that tree doing anything under it studying, practising magic tricks, drawing or playing during those times he acted as if someone else was with him. Because for him there was Diana was back, she looked different and disappeared at random slowly in weird ways always leaving her smile at the end, her smile? "But cats can't smile" his brother always said. Ace started to hallucinate more and more it was treated as him being childish or him joking about the eyes watching him, pink smoke, or pig mushrooms even when he drew them, even when he talked to himself... no to someone else who wasn't even there. During this, he got tired of making an effort to do stuff (burnt-out gifted kid) even though he gave it his all he never got what he wanted so what was the point of giving it?

This is what I have right now I'm not completely finished and some parts might change.

Ideas/Changes to Ace's Story:

He blacks out after finding Diana's dead body instead of screaming and running for help

During his overblot thiers two Overblot monsters one bing his based on Alice and another based on the Cheshire Cat to represent Diana

Small facts about Swap au/RSA au Ace Trappole:

he has a pair of identical twin cousins who are a few years younger than him

He's still close to his brother

He has a black bow in his hair that he ties up in a small side ponytail, he always switches it up to busy his hand during hallucinations

I have been working on (just putting ideas together) an All-Girl school in the TWST universe the main thing blocking me from working is getting an idea of what the Characters and dorm should be based on

one idea I have is basing them on modern Disney movies or just 2000 films, a second one would be basing them on Forgotten Disney movies, the third would be basing them on Disney shows and the last is basing them on Pixar films. There is another idea being basing them off fully on Brother Grim Fairy Tail but I'm douting that one. Any idea for what the dorms should be based on?

I kinda have an idea for the story but I mainly have been focusing on what the character should be based on then the story right

so I ended up listening to annapantsu (on YouTube) covers of Prince Ali and Arabian Nights, and this idea came to be in my head of an au where somehow Kalim after the events of Scarabi arc tries to make things better and ends up finding a book in the library that can alter reality in a way (don't ask how) and Kalim thinking it can fix or at least help with things between him and Jamil, uses it and it ends up turning time to a week after or around Azul's overblot but something is different in the Scarabia dorm Kalim and Jamil switch roles, Jamil now the housewarden of Scarabia and coming from a Royal family weil Kalim is the Vice-Hausewarden of Scarabia and Jamils "Servant". (Jamil and Kalim have more of Princ Ali and Genei type of relationship instead of the Sulten and Jafar)

And Nobody realizes till a week later when Yuu and Grim start feeling like they have done this before and so that story arc begins.#

Woulf Kalim overblot in this au...yes. would it be because of trauma...kinda of The reasoning would be more because of him overusing his magic, like to make sure the spell is working he must have his magic activated at all time

Okay, so I have been having this au idea that's been coming back to me for almost a week, and I just have to talk about it. It's a "what if(?)" au/scenario about Ace being entirely based on Alice.

But Back to ace in this au,

Ace is a first-year student at RSA and in the Alice/White Queen Dorm.

He tends to mention strange things like how he saw some singing flowers the other day or his craving to take a bite out of a bread-and-butter-fly. There are also times were he starts acting very childish like an actual 6-7-year-old.

At least half of Ace's upper classmates have been at minimum teased and at maximum bullied by him

Ace is a member of the Debate Team (not officially)

Backstory:

When Ace was a young boy, he and his brother were playing hide and seek in the big maze near their house, Ace ended up leaving the maze while following a white rabbit which led to a forest where he fell into a hole. He slowly started to Hallucinate of an "Adventure". Thankfully, the authorities found him a few days later and he was sent to a hospital.

However, His Hallucinations didn't Stop, and he began telling his brother stories about funny creatures he had met during his “adventure” which worried his brother a lot.

Other info(?):

Ace often takes afternoon naps to “meet his friends”. It became a rule after Riddles Overblot to never wake him up after a few incidents of students Waking him up during his naps.

Ace knows random information, and he will share it at the most random times like during Riddles overblot he started talking about tarts and desserts.

And the electrified pool incident continues (ik electric eels are of fresh water and not the ocean, but I already drew it. So. I have no canonical explanation for that I did it for the joke)

Taking a second look I'm starting to think their outfits are too simple, but first and foremost I wanted to do something fun for the looks of their primary features. I took inspiration from Luca (probably one of my favorite movies ever so I couldn't help but reference it here too lol) for the eye catching merform designs! Considering they're canonically sea monsters anyway, I didn't want to just insert their og designs here, so in this au they're more like in between their og merforms and human forms, also with their color pallettes are more similar to what flotsam and jetsam looked like in the little mermaid movie imo I wanted them to essentially wear the same thing despite the contrasting personalities, and technically most of the time they're walking around the school they're simultaneously working for Azul, looking for students to make deals with happens in this universe too (fortunately for them and unfortunatelyfor others), so an outfit more inclined to formal would be ideal to cause a good impression on their business, or as good as they can make it anyway. Nobody can contain Floyd though, if he has to wear an uniform he is going to stylize it.

Keeping it short this time, I don't wanna keep it on my drafts to add more notes later and postpone this more than I already have 💀 if I remember more facts about the AU twins I'll share them later!

Also, I was thinking of making a tag for asks related to this AU and I think I'll name it #.phantom asks to follow the AU theme lol but now I have to edit previous asks to insert this tag so wish me luck

Daybreak AU: an explosion happens on Sage Island and all the adults turn into zombie-like creatures; they are violent and attack on site and have the resistance of a zombie... but it's not contagious! Like cancer, it's just a thing that will happen with age. With all the adults gone, the students assemble themselves into cliques, gangs, and teams and things fall out very, very fast. Mc takes place of Josh.

Stranger Things AU/crossover: where Mc is basically Eleven. Or Max. Or maybe spicing it up with Vecna. Or maybe it's a crossover episode where Ace clocks the Demigorgon's shit. You choose.

I AM NOT OKAY WITH THIS AU: Mc has powers that are unrelated to magic, strange things happen and things get worse. please please please please please have Mc explode Crowley's head

Gravity falls AU/crossover(has probably been done before but I suck at finding things): I just want to see Bill and Crowley fight. Bill Cipher Mc anyone?

Messy (but progressively getting better) design notes:

[ Epel was one of those designs that just clicked instantly with me, I had a vision of the basics I wanted all sorted in my head even before I gathered most reference pics. I don't expect this to happen again to a majority of the remaining cast though 😫 ]

[ Watching those doll restoration/repainting videos while drawing helped me set the general mood I wanted for him, even though the final result doesn't show much of this inspiration, at least in my opinion... I love the makeup and face painting details these artists put on the dolls, but I was afraid too much of that would make his design too heavy-looking combined with the rest of the outfit. If I ever decide to design alternative outfits for this series, I'll try to show off more of this lost aspect there ]

[ For the character in itself now, I imagine him in this AU to be more free to do and act however he wants compared to his og universe counterpart. Still being supervised by Vil, but not in the same level as before. Probably the reason why he got all those scratches and cracks on his body, I like to think he's having a little more fun with being a gremlin and running around all he wants lol. And due to that, his skin care routine baisically consists in Elmer's glue, to stick any broken porcelain shards together. Vil is not exactly content about that, but he lets most of it slide at this point 👍]

[Epel's totally the type of kid who goes around the gardens to casually collect bugs like he's in animal crossing. Like this video I found on reels, which I don't reccomend watching if you have a phobia of spiders/insects/bugs/snakes/frogs/etc cause, you know. But anyway I think MH Epel holds this exact energy and it's- kinda terrifying! In a good way though. come on let this kid be a kid for once. I also think this more playful part of him fits well with the fact that he's a little doll. OH and the fact that og Epel grew up around the elderly back in his hometown kinda makes sense in this universe too, like, he's the type of doll some grandparents would keep in their old house as a family relic or something. Could very much be the beggining of a horror story. ]
