Thinking about how Wanderer appreciates Nahida giving him a chance & considers himself indebted to her as a result but on some level thinks he just isn’t worth the effort of trying to help, especially on the grounds of finding companionship :(

She genuinely believes in him and Wanderer isn’t used to people doing that….he can tell she does but can’t help being really cynical about it even though you know he wants a sense of purpose and fulfillment more than anything…but he’ll learn it slowly wiht time now that he has ppl who genuinely support him as a person instead of encouraging him to dehumanize himself….sniff
