Been thinking about the difference in ghouls a lot and it’s so fucking funny to me for some reason

a mix of the papas and their features (since this ghoul was used by Tobias)

More humanoid than the other species

darker skin with less but more distinct markings

throat mark

long, thin horns

hanging, pointy ears

bright eyes with downturned cross pupils

sleek, elegant bodies

beautiful, “otherworldly” proportions

Aero

Barn owl inspired

can’t move his eyes, can turn his head like an owl

feathers on arms

Harpy eagle inspired

thick feathers

piercings on eyebrow and collarbone

hair floats and moves with emotions

Bearded vulture inspired

sleek feathers

Large horns for an air ghoul

Elephant hawk moth inspired

long pupils from time as multi

bright colours from multi affiliation

Air Ghouls (My Interpretation):

Based on some kind of bird or flying animal (moths, etc)

very light (hollow but robust bones)

smaller than other species

noses are “beaks” → not as hard as the one of a real bird but still firm

good vision

feathers puff up with emotion

Ear holes under their feather tufts

move soundlessly

Markings are usually on their backs

Large, broad physique

Physically stronger than other races

based of some kind of farm animal (goats, cows, horses, etc)

herbivores

short tails

less magical powers, more physical strength

marking is usually somewhere on the torso

green, square pupils

Chain

Eel inspired

more animalistic features than the others

bioluminescent spots on his forehead

Angler fish inspired

no horns but has a “lantern”

smaller than the others → due to male anglers being small as well

Moray eel inspired

bright skin with yellowish splotches

long body, “weird” proportions

Water Ghouls (My Interpretation):

Long, sleek bodies

slimy, wet skin (some are poisonous to the touch)

have lungs as well as gills

webbed fingers and toes

pupils are usually long slits

bioluminescent spots, some glow more than others

Small ear holes behind the webbed structures on their faces
