I have officially finished Lower Decks 8 days after everyone else now (I‘ve been bingewatching it for a few weeks and man these guys have grown on me, I‘m missing them already :,) I‘m planning to rewatch the SNW crossover soon, cause I bet that‘s gonna be even more fun after having watched all of Lower Decks and not just the first two episodes hehe)

What do you mean "that time we met ourselves in a cave and we thought they were us from the future and then it turned out they were aliens and then it turned out they were actually us"?? I wanna WATCH that kind of episode

it's similar to them going "Oh yeah, remember when we swapped bodies? That was total chaos" WHAT DO YOU MEAN; THAT'S EXACTLY THE KIND OF STUFF I WANNA WATCH AND YOU'RE JUST MENTIONING IT ON THE SIDELINES??😭/lh

Y’know what would be crazy? If Bradward “raisin stud” Boimler was as popular as he was on his family’s orchard because as part of inheriting the business, he was taught some kind of impressive looking super raisin picking/sorting/hauling techniques, and he’s incredibly ashamed of it but every time he does it, it makes him look like the John Wick of raisins.

Yes, the “We can’t just not look, can we?” scene in Those Old Scientists is hilarious but imagine the Department of Temporal Investigations began to refer to that as the “Boimler Maneuver” or alternatively the “Shy Pisser Maneuver”.

Because that’s very much what it is. It’s an entire room full of people standing in a corner of the room, trying not to look, while you do your business. It just so happens that that business is utilizing methods and technology from the future

It would be very on brand for Boimler that when he finally gets a maneuver named after him it’s also called the “Shy Pisser Maneuver”, forever branding him a shy pee’er regardless of whether he is one or not.

I’m imagining a scenario in which Boimler meets Worf and introduces himself as Ensign Boimler, and Worf says he recognizes him and Boims gets excited for a second until Worf explains that he recognizes the name Boimler from the brand of prune juice that comes from Bradward’s family’s vineyard.
