I LOVE the fact that in each of these 3 cartoons there's always one smiley character that laughs every second of his life
SO!!! A little crossover of 3 of my favourite childhood cartoons by David Cherkassky - "Treasure Island", "Adventures of Captain Wrongel" and "Dr. Ouch-It-Hurts" ^^
In the Soviet cartoon "Вокруг света поневоле" a song appears, sung in English and... Italian? Considering that in the USSR it was difficult to learn any language (and speak it correctly) and that I do not speak English/Italian well enough, I need help in getting someone to tell you what is being sung there…
Cartoon is here
First song (in English): 8:35
There I could understand some words, but not all lyrics.
Second song (in Italian): 14:08
I didn't understand anything in this song… But I hope that it has at least some meaning.
I hope that at least someone will respond to my post.
Well, this is my first attempt to draw a human version of the Wolf from "Well, just you wait!" (or the legendary "Nu, pogodi!")
My sketch is based on early concept art.
The Speaking Hands of Travancore (Говорящие руки Траванкора)
Soyuzmultfilm, 1981
The story of the Indian dance of Kathakali from Travancore, and the Hindu myths/stories associated with it.

I seem to have completely and irrevocably fallen in love with the Wolf from "Nu, pogodi!"
Just look at these concept art!
I want him so badly.
