// 22/11/23// - TW Bees down - today due to a college investigation I had to go with a group of friends to a neighborhood in Cerro which is one of the most humble zones in my city. Most people there work a lot in many places and live okay but it's also a dangerous zone due to drugs and other crimes so the hospital there receives a lot of different cases. We had to interview people there to see if they knew about how the public University works there too but out of 10 people any of then knew (which is not surprising since the university works silently, I just discovered all this this year and I've been part of it since 2017 lol)

When we were leaving I saw a group of bees and people around them were telling the kids to stay away. I got scared for them, I thought that people might hurt them so I contacted someone who went to get them without using any smokes or chemicals and find them a new home <3

// 15/11/23// - TW harassment - I can't believe what happened this day... The doorman at my job, who used to harass me got fired because a neighbor from the building accused him with the police of harassment too... I couldn't be more happy and relieved, knowing that now that the hot weather is getting closer I won't have to worry about how I dress or how could I cover myself everytime I enter the building makes me feel safe

This place deserved a special post, look at this! This used to be a social club for the 1800-1900's high society, it looks like a palace. Maybe for people from other countries this might not be so impressing but as an Uruguayan this is a lot lol

// 08/10/23// heritage day pt. 1 (this weekend museums, historical places and cultural locations open and organize different activities, tours and more)

So started the day practicing with my group at 9 am, we had two practices (2 songs) and finished at 1:30 pm. After that I went to a square close to us and found a food market and the moose! I knew what that moose was bc I found it on the internet earlier but I wanted to confirm it... well, it was true, there's a new drink Cannabis flavored lol It's not psychoactive but still funny. Then my dad and brother came for me and we started walking to find something to eat. During that walk we entered to some places we already know but also some new ones for us.

Found the moose! (There were tons of posters all over the city about a "lost moose" with an instagram profile called "searching for the moose") and they gave me the new Cannabis flavored drink lol

// 04/10/23// today was the first time I participate in something related to universitary militancy. My faculty, as many others, is occupated by students since this Monday. We're fighting because tomorrow the government is debating and voting the budget they'll give to the public university (the most important here, there are a few privates). It's too long to explain why we need more budget but in some previous posts I've showed some posters about it, there's not enough space in the classrooms, there are really few teachers for so much students, many many of us can't get into some subjects... Today we decided to continue at least until tomorrow there so let's see what happens

// 01/10/23// - TW MENTAL HEALTH - a really tough but needed day. I had a mental breakdown due to something super small and stupid my dad told me (literally, I'm even embarrassed to say it lol) so I took a nap. When I woke up I was feeling better but then they arrived and I was being hostile against them and they didn't understand why. I went to my room and dad went to talk to me, he asked what was wrong and after some time trying to explain how I felt about that stupid thing I started crying and being honest, telling him how I really feel and how I know I need help but I'm scared of it. Them mom came, we talked more and after denying it I agreed to seek for help. They'll text a psychologist because I don't feel comfortable to do it myself and they'll pay for the therapy... so yeah, let's see what happens

// 13/09/23// - TW Pet health issues / seizures - today was a good day in general but when I was almost done at work my mom called and told me that Odie had another seizure and this time lasted longer than the one he had last month. he's okay tho, after some minutes he was fully recovered after the dizziness of that and he even chased the cat around the house and asked for food as usual. I hope that this won't be so usual but he's still going to the vet

// 08/09/23// I went to my boyfriend's hometown for the first time ever and met his family. I was really nervous, some time ago I had the chance to meet his mom but I was scared so she said it was okay, that we'd meet another day and now I was really nervous again but it is his birthday tomorrow so I wanted to come for him. His mom is the sweetest and his stepfather is a bit scary but cool.

Also early at work I barely did some stuff and then my boss told me to go get some food and all of the team ate together and got ice cream as a desert! So it was a nice Friday~
