Man I remember when I made this post 😭

Cant believe it's been over a year since I made this post... man

So much has changed

Im graduating from my school this year, I've been there since kindergarten and now I'm in 8th grade so it's really hitting me hard that this is my last year at my school

Ive been there for 9 years

I know all the teachers

I know my classmates like the back of my hand

We've been through so much together

And

Dont want to leave that

Heheh idk when this turned into a ramble but yeah wow never thought I'd make it to 8th grade

Also sorry I'm not as active on here as I used to be

I remember when I first found tumblr

When i was so happy to see groups and communities of all types of people interested in different things living together-

I found somewhere where there were people who i could relate to, and people who were interested in the same things as me.

And hello liko and roy... but more importantly, amethio, a fictional character finally close to my age that im hyperfixating on rn besides hunter from the owl house

I always imagined kaminari as a pikachu, and finally put pen to paper! He's in ash's sinnoh fit, when I saw that liko had ash's original pin except as a pin and not on a hat, it kinda reminded me of the spider mask and how each spider had their own take on it, so I tried that with the green arrow. As for the pikachu, inazuma, she has no tail cause she wasn't born with one (totally not cause I couldn't draw it)

Just imagine, liko offering amethio a spot and telling him how much he motivated her, how much she owes him and stuff.

It's so fitting that Amethio was present when Liko's Nyahoja evolved given that he's been involved in most of Liko's important steps as a trainer so far.

He is the reason Liko's pendant activated its powers for the first time in the series (when it had been dormant for decades before that point) which made Liko want to know more about its mysteries, Nyahoja managed to use her Leafage at full power against him back in HZ002 (and with her backstory from HZ040 in perspective, it was significant that Nyahoja stopped holding back at that moment).. Their narratives kept being intertwined every step of the way, Liko catching her first Pokemon and deciding the kind of trainer she wants to be in HZ021 was immediately followed by Amethio being woven back into the story and appearing in contrast.

In fact, Liko wanting to become stronger in the first place was in relation to Amethio, too.

Liko specifically brought up Amethio in HZ007 and the fact that not being able to do anything against him left her frustrated (in comparison, Roy's motivations were tied to Rayquaza). She learned that feeling of frustration for the first time because of him, which gave her the resolve to grow stronger.

Even now at the end of the first year, Amethio is still acting as a source of motivation of sorts to Liko, albeit differently.

Liko asks Friede how they can use Terastal, and Roy brings up that Lizardon was amazing, to which Liko adds that Amethio's Soublades was amazing too! She thinks of Soublades positively and was impacted by the experience, and may see it as a kind of inspiration.

Amethio went from someone Liko couldn't trust, to someone she can thank and maybe consider as someone she wants to reach too. I wonder if Amethio will be involved somehow if Nyarote evolves in Masquernya in the future.

When horizons came out, I was a little skeptical of it cause it did not have any of the og characters, so I wasn't going to originally watch it cause of that, but at least I wasn't dissing on it. You know what I did? I was like wynaut? And I gave it a shot. And I loved it. It brings to light that there are other things in the pokemon world besides battling, and I admire that. But if you didn't even give it a shot? Bruh, at least watch the first episode.

Listen there are many valid complaints about Horizons but it being different to all the other series isn’t one. It pisses me off so much to see people dismissing the show entirety just because it isn’t the same thing this time.

Liko, Roy and Dot just playing in the woods, while Amethio is socially secluded, if something like this does happen in the show, here is my analysis, if its his choice, being apart from the others, i think maybe its because of the age gap, so he tries to stay out of their horse-playing or if its not his choice, i theorize that roy is most likely the main person excluding him, cause he and amethio both aim/ed to catch rayquaza so... yeah

If Ash ever comes back in the anime I hope that he’s 1) Aged up with the time skip and 2) I think he deserves a new team to celebrate.

I would want him to be a mentor figure for Liko, Roy, and Dot. A sort of older brother figure and obstacle for them to overcome. He’s sort of their “Leon” and could fill the role of Juliana/Florian from the games. Due to the show taking place after the events of the game we can say that Ash already traveled through Paldea. If so, here’s the team I would give him.

1) Pikachu- Goes without saying, would love to see him face Cap

2) koraidon- He traveled with him while going around Paldea and is his “boss” legendary. Similar to Liko’s Terapagos and Roy’s “assumed” Rayquaza.

3) Dudunspace (3-segment) Ash has never been able to catch a dunsparce, and what better that to give him the rare 3-segment form to show what the world champion can do. The sleep “rowlet” type Pokemon of the team.

4) Annihilape- I imagine we went back and found his old Primeape, evolving it into a beast of a fighter.

5) Ogerpon- Ash experienced the events of the DLC, having a rivalry with Kieran over Ogerpon choosing to travel with Ash. She’s sweet and offers an adorable factor to the team.

6) Mega Lucario- the only other returning Pokemon, Ash’s lucario can serve as a mentor to Roy’s shiny lucario.

Okay, hear me out
