Couldn’t resist making the star crew reindeer‘s as well!

Since most of my stories are starting to get reworked have some Pokémon sillies as reindeer

Individual/design things

Wolf is an OC I made for my violet universe (which is kind of the merged into Scarlet universe), she pretty much didn’t change reindeer form.

Nemona design is simple yet I still really love it! I think I did well on the colors + incorporated her scar in there.

Honestly, my favorite thing about pennies design is her golden antlers! The antlers are docked/short because the bullies in this universe proceeded to break them so badly that they had to be removed.

Arven is the biggest out of all of them because he’s a moose/reindeer hybrid (which explain why his antlers are like that).

Why is it a short though?-

So Wolf and Nemona would so be like- a continuation of the thunder sisters,Nemo’s parent could be descendants of them and told brief tales about them. Nemo would then go out into the world spreading her knowledge and wolf would be first one she told. Together they kicked butt and be gay-

Then there Arven, he would still have his mabosstiff (still don’t know if It’s going Pokémon) but it’s now a lyote/land shark hybrid. Mabosstiff still suffers it’s injury and poor young Arven has to take care of them.

Now penny, I think where things most change.

Team falling lights (Star) are a makeshift traveling pack,usually get beaten or pick at by other strong packs. The 2 strong are Eri and mela but even then they don’t have any fighting experiences. So the only reason was to get a giant wolf spider (it’s name’s gunkshot)

They wear face paint for more “cosmetic/decorative” purposes and to look more intimidating.

OK to start off my (new) blog, sharing my team star designs (free to use,just give Credit)

As you see, some of them may have physical scarring on them bc I think the bully would have gotten physical at some point to really push them to making team star (also I a bit of Headcannons AU). penny also has a design, but I haven’t shown it yet.Don’t be shy to ask questions about it!

They're all a little silly

You can throw all of the bullshit you want at me, but the part of Indigo Disk that threw me the most was

Me after Scarlet and Violet

So I'm certainly not the first person to notice this but I've literally never seen anyone else talk about it so screw it. i will

Scarlet and Violet seem to have his really big theme with the characters and them defying expectations and having things you just wouldn't expect (I hope I'm explaining this well lol)

Honestly there's too many examples to list them all so I'm going to stick with Team Star because I love them.

Even the whole storyline has this as the thing because you're introduced to them as just these delinquent kids who cause trouble but as you go through the story you learn that there's way more to them than just that and that they're honestly pretty nice.

Giacomo being a dark type trainer can weigh into this as dark types can be associated with evil acts and criminals in Pokémon but he ain't evil. Also having someone part of the evil team but also being a huge rule stickler in the past is contrast as well.

Mela being really shy underneath her outward appearance works like this too as she looks threatening and mean but is just shy is contrast. It also works and goes against preconceived notions with fire trainers in the franchise being loud and boisterous (there are other exceptions though like Kabu).

Atticus follows through with the previous trends of poison trainers being ninjas but breaks other things. Like having him interested in sewing and having him make all the clothes goes against gender stereotypes in a way y'know like a male character sewing???

(again I know that he isn't the first Pokémon character to break gender ideas but let me gush ok)

And then there's Ortega who is a very cutesy fairy trainer but also is kind of the meanest in the team and like openly insults people semi-regularly. Also having the fairy specialist being the mechanic is kind contrasty because fairies are weak to steel so yeah. Also rich boy mechanic, you love to see it

Eri is certainly the most intimidating looking of the team but in probably like one of the nicest people in this game. Also unrelated but I like how frilly and princessy her clothes are and she even has a cute little tiara but she also could beat you up like you don't have to choose between being a princess and beating people up.

And then Penny

Oh boy Penny

Like shy nerd is the true mastermind??? Like who could've thunk it and like even though she looks very non threatening and sweet and stuff she stole from practically like the school board/government and nearly gets away with it. Another bit is like she sounds so confident and mysterious as Cassiopeia but the we get to see PENNY and she's so shy and stammering and it's just perfect.

so TLDR: I really like Team Star and breaking expectations.

Team Star Headcanons: Two Electric Boogaloo

(yes I know I just did the first one but I had too many thoughts for one post so here we are)

Ortega naps all the time. In class, at lunch, while fixing the Starmobile. Sometimes people don't even realise he's sleeping because he doesn't snore and still (sorta) sits up.

Penny has a stash of stim toys in her bag.

Atticus is fluent in sign language and the rest of the team has a basic grasp on it.

Mela has a lot of burn scars on her arm from not being careful around her pokemon. Her uniform covers it up.

They eventually started wearing the uniforms again but keep some of their accessories from their boss outfits.

Atticus either completes entire outfits in a few hours or debates the sleeve lengths for a week. No in-between.

Giacomo isn't a bad dancer. He's got some moves.

Eri likes to invite Carmen to team star hangouts. nobody objects and they've all grown quote close with Carmen. She's a pretty cool gal.

they like to talk to Miriam. They spend a lot of time in the nurses office anyways for various reasons so they just ended up bonding with her.

Team Star Headcanons!

Everyone put their spare dorm key on a differently coloured lanyard and the keys get traded around a lot.

Penny's room is (somehow) not the messiest. that award goes to Atticus where only he can navigate the room without stepping on sewing pins or sliding on fabric.

Mela gives a lot of her art projects to her friends.

Ortega, Giacomo, and Atticus are a dangerous combination as they all will (and have) stay up all night working on projects. They don't stop each other either.

Mela and Giacomo take general studies, Atticus and Eri take humanities, and Penny and Ortega take STEM.

They have a lot of impromptu sleepovers, often times starting at midnight because someone was having nightmares.

Eri is the epitome of "Mom Friend". She's always reminding the team to eat, drink, sleep, take breaks as needed. Eri is the friend we all need

They all pretend that they're over the bullying and it doesn't freak them out as much but their all lying.
