if anyone has a good quality boot of the great comet, preferably with josh groban and denee benton, i would be forever in your debt! i’ve been looking for one but i don’t have many to trade and everyone’s asking for trades 😭 i can offer emma stone cabaret and oklahoma 2019 and alice by heart! thank you so much :3
nearly forgot to post this but i did this as a redraw of one of my personal favourite Pierre pieces iv done
Two Pierre doodles I did a bit ago
Some very self indulgent Pierre fanart
Leyendecker study ft. The sillies
Natasha and Pierre throughout several adaptations of War and Peace
[BBC War and Peace (Harper, 2016), War and Peace (Bondarchuk, 1965-1967), War and Peace (Prokofiev), BBC War and Peace (Conroy, 1972), War and Peace (Vidor, 1956), War and Peace (Dornhelm, 2007), Natasha, Pierre & the Great Comet of 1812 (Malloy)]
here’s this little thing i made… i originally tried to use clips from soviet war and peace but there’s just not enough helene in it for this to work :( it’s also not my best work besides but i just needed to see this vision play out
what if i said something came over me the other day and i may have made a helene and pierre edit to this part of is it over
i love a good senile boyfriend. he may not be physically old but mentally he is at least 85 and he’s always convinced someone is after him.
most of war and peace is just men creating issues for themselves while women suffer the worst horrors imaginable.
tolstoy: after natasha and pierre got married everyone was pretty miserable for a long time and people died and stuff and it was really awful
me: aww they got married 😊 cute
muppets war and peace where the only human is andrei
has anyone else noticed that while in the pit pierre watches natasha much more consistently than any other character who passes him? i might be seeing nothing but i really wonder if that’s on purpose.
pierre is an interesting character ofc but sometimes he’s mentioned on his own and i’m like that’s nice… where’s natasha though…
there’s probably some great comet production that has a perfectly cast pierre, but out of the major times he’s been portrayed (on stage or on screen) they always manage to cast him as either too small or too old. is it really that hard to find a large man who is under 40 ?
"If he came across some worldly abomination he would say to himself, 'So-and-so's robbing the state and the Tsar while the state and the Tsar weigh him down with honours, is he? Well, let him get on with it - she smiled at me yesterday, she asked me round, and I love her, and nobody will ever know.'"
War and Peace, Tolstoy
no one else mirroring epilogue means everything to me so pls enjoy this edit i made a couple months ago (featuring a healthy amount of disrespect to andrei)
i will never stop thinking about the similarities between no one else and epilogue
at this point i fear nothing will revive the pierre and natasha shippers. where have they all gone? i literally never see anyone talk about them anywhere. an occasional tiktok at best.
pierre being tolstoy’s self insert explains so much. like the several pages in the epilogue describing how happy everyone was to see him.
really obsessed with this gif cuz she looks like she’s about to eat pierre
Pierre:"What I should do, trainer?"
Serious Sam:"Stop dreaming, get grip on Napoleon. You are Serious Pierre now!"
