Oh my god. We live in a time where we can get an answer in a split second, and you didn’t even bother to google that shit. This person had time to make a post and tag it, but didn’t have the time to educate themselves on Pearl Harbor before doing so.
"Yesterday, December 7, 1941—a date which will live in infamy—the United States of America was suddenly and deliberately attacked by the naval and air forces of the Empire of Japan." With these words, Franklin D Roosevelt opened a speech undertaken by few Presidents, and launched America into World War II.
About the image: I produced this one-of-a-kind art piece using an AI-based image generator that shows the attack on America naval assets. You'll soon find more of these dream-like images on my NFT and website.
On this day 83 years ago, our nation faced a devastating attack.
The loss of life at Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941, was profound, with 2,403 individuals perishing. This included 2,008 sailors, 109 Marines, 218 soldiers, and 68 civilians.
It is imperative that we never forget this tragedy and ensure that our children are educated about our history. By doing so, we can strive to prevent similar occurrences in the future.
