Hey, y'all! 👋
So...I wrote something, and I would love if y'all read it. 💜
Here's a cookie🍪
First five years spent poor
Beaten, clawed by toxic stress.
A rough start, darling.
“I’m not a villain!”
Spat darkly through gritted teeth;
Tears salting their cheek.
Hojas caídas,
Bailan con luna mía,
Con ritmo nuevo
His shadow leaves
A window ceases to see
Natures Solitude
Chaque nuit a un jour
Chaque ombre a une lumière
Le monde opposé
‘Enduring fire burns, everlasting frost melting, the sand and earth weep’
Berries.

(I made this haiku on daily prompt a week ago)
4/12/24
I wrote this haiku just looking around my room.
I used Picsart for the first time with this one, and was so intrigued by the eerie nature of this head-less figure that emerged from the haiku prompt, paired with the joyful nature of everything around it.

inspired by a guy walking by on the street. no, he was not surrounded by balloons. but ai thought he was and i think that's nice.
the last of the eclipse haikus. from 4/8/24. clearly this day was very inspiring to me.
this is the first image i've created with deep dream generator. i like it so far! it took a few generations to get to this one but i like how it turned out.
another eclipse haiku from 4/8/24

i wrote this one on a trip to see the solar eclipse this year. we were driving down the highway to get to the spot we had traveled so far to arrive at. to experience a miraculous three minutes and thirty-eight seconds. i felt like i could feel the anticipation in everything, even the other cars around us.
thanks for the artistic help with this one @cj-sass
a haiku i wrote after a walk along the shore on 4/7/24
indoor ocean, 4/3/24
this piece was inspired by a conversation I had with a kid. we were playing with some wooden toy fish and we spilled the whole box of them on the floor, and then he told me that the carpet was the ocean. i loved that imaginative moment. i've been in a few conversations about tapping into your inner child recently, and i myself have been trying to grasp onto more moments of imagination like we had so freely as children.
okay, but for real, this is my fav AI art piece that I've ever gotten from my haikus. gotta love the wombo dream app.
a box of a man
controlled by cardboard and tape
stiff and stumbling
I had a haiku,
But I lost it on campus.
Wonder where it is.
Haiku are heartfelt.
Yup. Haiku all mean something.
No shallow haiku.
Poems are quite long,
Except this one, distinctly.
Haiku are funny.
