Speed paint I did while listening to the adventure zone finale
This is a band from my Sky Shifters story called Punks ‘N Sweets. Their music is an unholy combo of bubblegum pop and punk rock, and it is fronted by a Latina lesbian couple.
(While this is a redraw, I never uploaded the original online)
Here’s my half of an art trade with @itsallpeachykeen/ @peachbuttz! It’s her Saints Row character, Boss Fran. (I don’t know much about the games)
Late Christmas presents for @effectsofgrowingup and @peach-tea-lover: a random princess and Killian from The Adventure Zone!
There they are! There’s my girls!
(Sorry I haven’t updated in a while--school has been stressful. Here’s a cute double update to make up for it.)
Updating on a Monday because why not.
School's out, merms out 3: The Return aka oH GOD COLLEGE STARTS ON TUESDAY
Not the most original of concepts, but I had fun doing my own take on it.
Continuing the sketchdump.
I've been working on a short story comic this summer. This is concept art for a scene a sadly had to cut due to page length.
More sketchdump: I wrote a sappy sci-fi poem, and I wanted to draw the characters based on their descriptions.
The sketchdump continues!
Luna in her spy outfit.
Another from the sketchdump!
I went flower shopping, and I got inspired.
The first sketchdump drawing: Environment practice
This is my final for color design last semester. We had the option of using a specific artist's use of color, and I chose @gigidigi , especially her work with Cucumber Quest. She my favorite comic creator, so I thought, 'what would be better than a comic?' I used two of her techniques: simultaneous contrast based on emotion, and character motifs. I wanted to further challenge myself by having a rainbow gradient and no dialogue. As a result, the story and art are very simple.
(Go here for a less compressed version)
This is a really weird day of the week for me to upload a piece, but I needed to get this out before the next episode-I'll probably only want to draw cute Lapis after it.
Shift’s design has changed within the last two years, so I figured it was time I painted her again.
Mermaid is probably my favorite Gumi song. I usually like her more realistic sounding songs, but I always find it so relaxing.
Happy Valentine’s day! Here’s a canon couple from the sequel.
I thought it would be a fun drawing exercise to redraw a screenshot of one of my favorite moments in the last Stevenbomb.
(Early) Christmas presents for Shy, Kris, and Casey!
A quick painting of Violet.
Happy Halloween!
Sequel girls aesthetic switch.
I’m sorry for the lack of updates. College is destroying me, but here’s a double update to make up for it.
When I was in the 5th grade, I made up an idea for a comic strip called Woodland Weirdos. It starred Bell Bunny, Ricky Rabbit, and Bucky Beaver, who were anthro-ish woodland creatures. In 8th grade, I joined Aishax Neckox's bunny brigade (I haven't followed her for years, so I'm not doing a proper mention) by turning Bell 'gothic'. It's really funny looking back on it. (Also, I didn't draw Bucky at all??) Recently, I have decided to redraw the first characters that I've made (and actually did something with) again, and to do it properly this time.
Here's some thumbnail sketches! The bottom three use color palettes from this.
This was a simpler drawing that I had to completely redo because Manga Studio crashed.
To end the sketchdump: Some assorted sketches of Scarlet.
Almost done with the sketchdump!
Shift and Luna with alt clothes and hair??
