Katherine smiled at the floor, shaking her head. “It's not like I made it, Shelby,” Katherine had protested against the compliment, her black silk hair cascading down her shoulders and swaying with her gentle movements. “It's just a dress…” “But you just look so beautiful in it!” Shelby had gushed, hands waving generally over Katherine's frame. “You’re so pretty, Princess.”

Someone suggested a dash of Nature Wives and I've got you covered! But I'll add in a long story short, too!

You see, the boutique is actually the only living establishment in this pretty damaged mall. It used to be really big and really crowded until a major fight took place within it, trashing the mall's center beyond work and making every owner freak out and leave.

On the outer skirts and less damaged places of the mall was this boutique/clothing brand called the Shroom and Loom, which was once owned by Shubble's mom until the whole thing. The outter skirts of the mall was then rendered safe and turned into a strip mall of sorts, but no one bought a place there.

Of course, Until Shubble took up the old boutique and roped Scott into business with her! They needed a lot of work and help, but a few friends and new people found their post about it.

One of them was someone named Katherine.

Katherine helped a lot with some funding and decoration, especially with a few flowers and helping choose some opening designs for the place! Strange, most of them are from Shelby's side of the book.

And just as strangely, Shelby gives Katherine a personally-made dress for helping out so much.

Do yuo think Shelby sends Katherine letters via Nimbus during the supreme witch trials. Do you think the gardens looking a little bit sad now because Katherine’s not used to having to water it. Do you think Shelby refuses to take her ring off (theyre married source just trust me bro) even though it would be more efficient and make room for more enchanted rings. Do you think Katherine goes through her day working on requests and embroidery projects just waiting for the little black crow to show up with some more batshit insane letters. “Hey Katherine <3 The trials are going really well, I’ve learnt a lot since getting here! I grew wings btw. Also I have a sister now!!! She’s kinda cringefail but I think you’d like her :) I’ll see you soon, just gotta fight a death battle and I’ll be back home!! Miss you XOXO <3!”. I don't see enough posts on how nature wives must be viewed in-universe between the empires and the witches. Like, it's one thing to hear that your classmate Shelby the slacker who sleeps through class and switched dimensions on accident is dating someone. BUT THEN THAT SOMEONE TURNS OUT TO BE MOTHER-FUCKING ROYALTY?? At first people think "No, it's not possible, Shelby's just calling her a queen and people took it out of context". But then Shelby starts living up that Trophy Wife Lifestyle™ and all of a sudden her normally torn-up uniform is pristine and it's made of super soft and expensive materials. Her potion stand looks brand-new and so do all of her mixing and grinding tools. And now she's wearing new jewelry that the elemental witches swear is real, which makes no sense because it's made of diamonds and netherite. There are bets being placed and arguments of whether or not the rumors are true. the leading theory is she's dating a noble, not royalty but still filthy rich. Even teachers are curious and heated debates go long into the night. And then graduation comes up and everyone gets really quiet because holy fuck all 11 rulers have shown up. And when asked they simply say "well we aren't missing Shelby's graduation, she is our favorite witch after all" and the whole school blows up, because now it's not a question of IF she's dating a ruler but WHICH ruler. And it gets answered really quickly because after the ceremony Queen Katherine of Glimmer Grove proposes to Shelby. And Headmaster Nowls rolls in his grave. BUT IN THE EMPIRES? Glimmer Grove citizen: Did you hear Queen Katherine is marrying The Great Witch Shelby? Chromia: citizen: Oh yeah they're such a cute couple i hear all the empires are getting invited! Sanctuary Citizen: I heard that the theme is nature!

That's what you're going to talk about on your first date?! What do the second date conversation topics look like?!?! That you killed Joey, Jimmy, and Oli? That, while drinking with an evil Sausage, you released a demon that killed your headmaster?!?!

Ever think about the fact that when we last saw the two, Katherine had no idea on how Shelby was actually cure of the skulk. She didn’t know everything with the witch academy, the voices screaming in Shelby’s head, the spirits in the fog. She didn’t know that Shelby died.

Crazy how nature wives still won. Crazy how they are both still alive and happy and weren’t cruelly separated from each other in the end. Isn’t that soooo crazy
