This is such a loaded question. I listen to so many songs, it's so hard to pick 5 out of hundreds I have saved. Ya know what, I'm already going to break the rules by not tagging anybody, so I'll just pick songs that fit my Hey Arnold oc, Debora or the Debmund ship (at least the version that's in my spinoff of CallMeNettie's Hey Arnold fan fic series). It's been a while since I did anything with her and I want to remedy that. It's going to alienate my new Bob's Burgers followers but oh well. I remember the first time I heard about Arcane. It was through the song 孤勇者, and I loved the song, especially the lyrics, but I didn’t understand the connection to Arcane. My friend got me to watch Arcane these past two weeks, and I am so glad. Isha’s character made me cry, and her relationship with Jinx was so perfectly encapsulated in 这样很好. I love being able to connect with both my languages, Chinese and English, and this song expresses some of the ways(?) other languages can convey stuff English can’t. I’m rambling a bit, but I just want to appreciate this song and give it more love!
Thank you all the Arcane makers (sound, animation, story, everyone!) and Eason Chan (he sang both 孤勇者 and 这样很好）for producing such a beautiful scene.
