I just need to yell about this moment here.

Millie, my girl Mills, bff, absolute queen! She was gonna keep looking at Blitz until he closed his eyes, she wasn’t gonna let him feel alone in this, not ever again. She couldn’t hold his hand, but she could give him the comfort of eye contact until the end, and my gosh, she’s so strong for that! (Not shitting on Moxxie and Loona here! Their not wanting to look is totally valid! Totally a normal response to such a thing!)

You can tell how thankful Blitz is to have someone to look at in the eyes one last time, as he says that he loves his found family. I just love how she wasn’t gonna let him ever go alone, she gave him the only comfort she could from where she was chained, and he appreciated that, so, so much! It’s all over his face here. (Imo)

Fears After Mastermind

Stolas is NOT in a good place mentally right now. The guy was already suffering from depression, but now he’s quite literally lost everything to his name. His home. His title and powers. His DAUGHTER.

No matter how positive a note Mastermind seemed to end on, past experience with Ozzie’s is setting Sinsmas up to be truly devastating. Octavia is Stolas’ only hope right now, because until he and Blitz actually manage to talk to each other, there’s always going to be some level of uncertainty and awkwardness between them (no matter how wholesome that bath scene and kiss was).

Unfortunately, any future plans/attempts at getting to Octavia are ultimately going to end with her confronting Stolas. Lashing out at him and accusing him of loving Blitz more than her as we heard in the Season 2 trailer.

This will CRUSH Stolas, absolutely destroy what little hold of himself he has right now. And this leads to my fears…

Stolas is going to lash out. Everything has been taken from him, he’s in an uncomfortable situation and has been rejected by the only hope of normalcy he could have right now, and the closest and easiest target right now is Blitz.

And normally this wouldn’t be a problem, Blitz can generally give as good as he gets. But Stolas is used to the uncaring, pure violence of Stella. And the reactive defensiveness that is Blitz’s usual response to confrontation, but Stolas has absolutely no context of a Blitz after the events of Apology Tour and GhostF*ckers.

Blitz has been put through the wringer this season, and although he’s still putting on a brave face and acting his usual shenanigan causing self even after everything, the damage has definitely been done. As seen in GhostF*ckers, Blitz internalizes everything. Every hurt, every perceived mistake, Blitz is quietly agonizing over it when he thinks no one is looking.

And all it’ll take to absolutely DESTROY Blitz, and backslide any healing and growth he’d managed up to this point, is to be told that he ruined Stolas’ life. The one fear that could very easily shatter Blitz, and I’m absolutely terrified this is the direction Sinsmas and Season 3 are going to take.

Is Andrealphus what Pilot Stolas was supposed to be?

This idea has been nagging at me ever since I saw a theory on here about a future “hellfire” inspired song being about Andrealphus, and its focus possibly being on Blitz. Which, granted, is pretty far fetched where we are currently in the show in regards to their interactions, but then it hit me. What if it was just Andrealphus trying to hurt Stolas even after everything?

What better way to hammer it home just how “worthless” and “unwanted” Stolas truly is when Andrealphus steals away the one thing (or rather person) keeping the once royal from completely falling apart?

Blitz

Season 3 could very well have Andrealphus going after Blitz romantically in an attempt at breaking Stolas, but there’s the snag. Blitz wants absolutely nothing to do with him, and is still very much loyal/devoted to Stolas. And this throws Andrealphus into an obsessive spiral. After all. An imp? Refusing him? For Stolas?

That could be the perfect scenario for a “hellfire” song.

It’s a well known fact by this point that Stolas was originally supposed to be she show’s main antagonist, but this was changed due to him being so popular with the creators and fans. But what if the concept behind that plot line wasn’t scrapped? Just reworked?

After Mastermind, Andrealphus has quite literally taken on Stolas’ role along with his status. Putting him in the perfect position to follow what Pilot Stolas very could have been.

Helluva Boss - Like a Prayer

Look I'm not saying there's gonna be a fight where Blitz says he understands and Stolas says "you don't! I've lost everything!" And blitz just looks at him and Stolas feels his heart sink and that's how Stolas finds out about the Fire, but

Oh fuck I just realized that Stolas losing everything is an echo of Blitzø losing everything, after the fire.

Except Stolas has Blitzø. Who knows what it's like to lose it all. Who's tending to him exactly as he he wished someone could have taken care of him afterwards.

Listen, Blitzø's amount of resilience is incredible. Maybe Stolas's would be too, if he were really forced to be all on his own with nothing. But obviously, Blitzø is going to do his damndest to never let them find out.

Gaahhh they're so perfect for each other.

Dialogue V.S Soliloquy

I've seen a lot of confusion on this topic floating around the internet and I thought I would offer up my 2 cents on the matter. Like, maybe Vivzie will come out with a tweet that proves this entire theory wrong or something but until then, here is my interpretation.

The song starts off as Stolas addressing the courtroom. He even leads into it saying something like "Lets do this the way I do best- with song." He then proceeds to play a sort of evil villain role, pretending that everything was all part of his evil plan and how dare this dumb little Imp try to take credit for his accomplishments- really playing up the condescension in a way that the Goetia will buy. He's playing to his audience with the ultimate goal of redirecting the blame from Blitz to himself. He's campy and dramatic the whole time until he gets to the line "And I have no regrets."

At that point you will notice a change in the background. As soon as he sings that line we suddenly aren't in the courtroom anymore but in this starry galaxy backdrop with feathers floating around and he immediately sings "I have regrets." Like, it's the very next line. "I have no regrets. I have regrets." The tone shifts from his silly villain monologue to something sadder and more somber. All of this combined is why I believe that this is when the song stops being an address to the court room and becomes a soliloquy.

If you think back to highschool when you were learning about Romeo and Juliet, that's when most people learn about soliloquy- A device used in theater to let the audience into the character's mind. It's usually shown as the character on stage by themselves, speaking their thoughts aloud so that we as the audience can know what they're thinking, but it's accepted that the other characters in the play cannot hear this part.

When Mastermind makes the drastic shift away from campy stage play into somber reverie, I believe this is meant to be a soliloquy. After all, the "I have no regrets. I have regrets" line wouldn't make any sense if Stolas was still addressing the courtroom. He doesn't want them to know he has regrets or that he's questioning everything or that he's even questioning why he's willing to throw everything away for this one man that he's not even on good terms with right now. Additionally, Blitz's parts in this song are his thoughts too: "What have you done?" and "I don't deserve this."

They were both screaming in their heads about how much they love each other but I don't think they've said it out loud, not to each other or anyone else. When Satan sings his part he doesn't comment on any of the lovey dovey stuff, just "Isn't that adorable, we've been betrayed by one of our own." He only comments on Stolas's performance from the beginning of the song. He goes on to talk about how Stolas's hubris had gotten the better of him, but nothing of his heart.

These two haven't confessed their love, they've just both accepted it. I think the purpose of the duet was to show that they're finally on the same page with what they want out of the relationship, but they've still got some work to do in regard to actually getting there. They've said it in their heads- now they need to say it to each other.

They went so unreasonably hard with this sequence in Mastermind and I still can't get the colors and imagery out of my head

IT'S THE WAY THEIR INTERNAL WORLDS BLEED TOGETHER. the way blitz still looks up at him, still in front of him and bathed in light, but the way they're on equal ground this time; there's no pedestal. the golden chains forcing blitz away from stolas vs them dragging blitz to him in truth seekers. stolas on his knees looking up at blitz (the moon) vs blitz on his knees watching stolas. the way that stolas has the freedom to fly after the moon vs blitz being chained down and unable to reach for him. the golden feathers. insane

IM GLAD SOMEONE ELSE NOTICED THIS HE KEPT FUCKING PULLING THEM OFF?? I'm definitely going to have more to say about this and the fucking gold feathers later but I need to stop shaking first

I mean we did get these shots which were pretty damn sexy but oh the drama of Stolas appearing in his demon form
