East Africa is a region rich in culture and diversity, yet it faces significant challenges regarding LGBT rights and acceptance. In many countries, same-sex relationships are criminalized, leading to widespread discrimination and violence against LGBTQ+ individuals. Despite these obstacles, activism and community support continue to emerge, highlighting the resilience of the LGBT community.

Anything you spare can make a very bigger difference into our lives, we’re starving, shortage of food, no shelters, we need all your possible support to go through this, we can not have access to work since all people are homophobic they say we’re evil and we deserve to die 💔 we have single lesbian mothers whose kids have never attended school for more than four years so heartbreaking 💔 donate or share and save lives.

Just attended the Bellingham Pride Anthems show and had a blast!

This right here was so much fun! It was a concert with these three amazing singers who sung some of the best lgbtq songs in history along with telling important moments in lgbtq history!

And all that’s amazing but the two best parts were,

When my little sister was dancing she was brought to the front by one of the singers and got to dance with him!

Along with the fact that fucking James Cameron Mitchell was there!! The James Cameron Mitchell showed up on stage multiple times singing!!

Made my week honestly I had the funnest time there.

Twitch removes the transphobic LGB Alliance from its list of approved charities

Good news! The gaming live-streaming service Twitch has removed the anti-transgender organization LBG Alliance from its list of accepted charities.

In response to a request on their web site, Twitch admins responded:

Thank you for sharing your concerns with us. Following a thorough review, we have removed the LGB Alliance from our list of approved charities. Twitch does not allow charities that violate our hateful conduct policies on Twitch, or whose organization or leadership engage in or promote behaviors that violate our Off-Service policy. You can find our response on Autism Speaks here.

We include a wide range of organizations in Twitch’s charity tool through our partnership with the PayPal Giving Fund so that streamers can choose which charities they align with and wish to support. Inclusion on this list is not an endorsement from Twitch. However, we regularly review the list and remove organizations that violate our policies. Please continue to share your feedback to help us improve charity on Twitch.
