I was going to design and market a bumper sticker or decorative sign that looked like something written in an extremely hard-to-read fake-cursive font, but was in fact not actually lettering at all, just a bunch of random loops and squiggles.
Then I remembered pareidolia exists, and that people would "discover" offensive statements in the squiggles, and would NOT believe that they weren't really there or not intentional.
My review on life:
I Think People overthink how life is supposed to Flow, we all seem to forget that Everybody is experiencing life for the first time like, there isnt instructions or Anything on what were supposed to do here think of life like minecraft your dropped into the world with no instructions but there is an outline or baseline of what were supposed to do, like in minecraft we could start etting Resources in order to help our in game character Survive, in life we go to school to get a proper Education so we could get a job and possibly in the Process discover ourself, and in both of these you are dropped into a world of Endless possibilities, in minecraft the goal is to get strong enough to kill the Ender dragon in life the goal that society has dictated is to have a good paying job, hopefully have a family someday and then hopefully live a long happy life with a peaceful death, but both of these have a world so full of possibilities and the universe and life in general is really unfair so those life plans People make, they shouldnt follow it so seriously life is unpredictable every single Day we live through our potential Death Day I'm sure that a lot of People world have wanted to accomplish their dreams before they leave this world but at the same time you shouldnt restrict yourself from the possibilities life has to offer, life is unpredictable so you should live as If everyday there's something new to look forward to, yes there re moments where life is boring but thats just it life isnt meant to be lived in the fast Lane life is a slow Process and we should enjoy it as time cant be turned back, one of the most Valuable things life has to offer is time so we should treasure it.

I am proud to introduce these books of magic written by great senpais whom I really look up to. These books are the fruit of senpais’ sipag, tiyaga, dugo’t pawis and all other words that can say through their pusong mamon na pagsisikap. (lol im talking tagalog here im not even good with this) It’s nice to see that more passionate people near me have also the same love for this kind of art, and kawaii ;_; So note to self Justinne Hannah, you are not alone.
The Kawaii PH book was launched last June 17, 2015 and Abbey Sy’s book was launched last June 20, 2015 (my birthday huhu ;_;). Too bad I reaaallly couldn’t come to both events (why is this country an archipelago anyway). If were to come I’d definitely be in full support with you guys ;_;

The Kawaii Fund is a fundraising campaign by Kawaii Philippines. One of Kawaii PH’s ways of making this happen is the book. All of these will someday result to a kawaii dream for the community, Kawaii in Manila 3 / Kawaii in Asia. <3

I was sooo happy they launched the book at the same time as my birthday (fangirling haha * *)
I just got this last week and after three months of searching and searching, it was finally available in my nearest NBS branch huhu. Turns out the book got sold out and I got the second printing (to be available in an isolated NBS branch) but still yaaay I got it the day before I proposed my thesis title (reality check lol)
Proposed my title and I can take a little relaxation and draw & paint again huhu it’s been a while ;_; More ahrt for meeee
Oh and also looking forward to to Reese’s first album soooon! MUST get a copy of her music * *

After months of full procrastination and self-doubt, I've finally finished my Baby Driver animation. I added a few winks of the movie that you'll immediately get if you've already seen it ;D And welp -- I know my last challenge sucked, but I'm really satisfied with this result <3
I was tagged by @draculya on this Playlist Tag. It's about setting your music library on shuffle and answering with the first 10 songs that pop up. I decided to make it a 10 day challenge and use it as an exercise to practice my lettering-- I would very much like @unicornempire to join me on this challenge if you're able to! So yeah, I'm not surprised "Stay Frosty Royal Milk Tea" was the first one to pop up since I'm obsessed with M A N I A since friday 💜
Love the comics so much JNSSNHS, I love all the panelling and how well it’s structured. I remember you talked about the thumbnails before, but I’d just like to ask… What font do you use for texts? Any tips for making the speech bubbles?
Ooooooh a lettering question!!
I use the "Might Makes Right" font purchased from Blambot! I wanted that classic comic book look, but without the worry of getting in trouble for using a pirated font like "CC Wild Words" haha.
Blambot is an awesome site, I highly recommend giving it a look through if you are interesting in the lettering side of comics!! They have some fonts that are free for use for non-profit / indie comic projects (only for comics, check out the licensing page) and so much advice on balloons and sound effects. I've learned so much from this site alone!
The "Better Letterer" and "Comic Book Grammar & Traditions" pages have personally taught me So Much about lettering and balloons. Its a good insight into all the little tips and tricks the industry has developed from so many talented people over the decades.
ANOTHER GREAT LOOK INTO LETTERING is "this video" by Strip Panel Naked (my favourite youtube channel). The creator explains the thought and process behind choosing the style of balloon and fonts to suit the comic!
I use Clip Studio Paint and it has a lot of great options for balloons with the Balloon Tools and many more options to created by other artists out there to download! I don't use any of them.
I like to either draw the circles by hand for a more natural look, or I'll use the ellipse tool to create the circle and mesh transform it to be more imperfect.
I personally think all comic creators should look into learning more about lettering, not because I think everything needs to look "professional", but because it's honestly such an interesting and overlooked part of the comics medium!!
There is so much history and tradition behind it, and it's so cool that when done right the balloons almost become invisible to the reader, just another part of the art!! There are also so many things you can do to match the lettering with the art style of the comic!
I just think it's neat ( ◕_◕)
