ok tengen, giyu, rengoku, shinobu

what would their ideal date look like? tengen would def go somewhere like an amusement park for the flamboyance, giyu for sure is something like a quiet restaurant or cafe and stroll in the park, but rengoku and shinobu could probably go either way

Uzui Tengen

I 100% agree that Tengen would have his ideal date at an amusement park

But counter point

Tengen I think would have him and his date go to a festival

Extra counter point

My College AU Tengen would have an ideal date at a Musical Festival were him and his band perform

Reasons for this is he can show off his drumming skills

And festivals especially music ones let you stay for a few days so he would have a lot of time to get to know you

As well as the fact he can talk about his interest and introduce you to Makio, Suma and Hinatsuru (I am not excluding these 3 wonderful women)

He would probably want to see if you and his girls get along or not (you better hope you 4 are besties or are also dating them)

Though if Tengen did go with the Amusement Park date he would probably want the date to start in the early afternoon and end around 9 or 10 pm

I can see him wanting to be with his date for the whole day

In my head even though Tengen is a huge flirt I think he wouldn’t want to commit himself to a relationship unless he has an emotional connection with the other person

He also definitely is serious about his relationship and very committed to his lover I think he would commit murder before he even thinks about cheating

But anyway back to the main topic

I feel like Tengen wouldn’t try and put on a front of how he’s a gentleman or the perfect guy

Tengen would just act as he normally does and wouldn’t try to be what he isn’t

I feel like his worst date would be at a library or at a coffee shop

Tengen much prefers being loud and having excitement in his life

so any place that has a bunch of rules or is somewhere you need to be quiet he would probably leave the first 5 minutes in

Rengoku Kyojuro

Honestly I think Kyojuro would be fine with any type of date

I think he would prefer if the date location was chosen by the other person than himself

I just feel like he wouldn’t normally go on dates unless he thought the person was his soulmate or it was meant to be

Kyojuro probably wouldn’t care where the date was as long as he got to spend time with you

You could honestly have a date in the most badly reviewed restaurant and he would be fine with it as long as you were there

This boy would be such a gentleman as well he would pull your chair out for you, he would pay for whatever it was you two went, he would even bring an extra jacket if you got cold

Though I think once Kyojuro gets more comfortable with you he would absolutely adore at home dates

Getting your favourite junk food sitting on the couch with blankets wrapped around the both of you in your pyjamas while watching a movie

Kyojuro would definitely carry you to bed if you fell asleep as you two would then cuddle until he fell asleep

Honestly the dream right there

And if he woke up before you he would love to make breakfast in bed for you as long as you give him all the kisses he wants

I definitely feel like Kyojuro would be somewhat awkward at the beginning of the relationship but once you two are very comfortable with each other it honestly just comes naturally to him

Husband material 1000000% (I would add more 0’s but we got two more people to do!)

Tomioka Giyuu

I feel like Giyuu would be the most awkward out of everyone else so he doesn’t really get around but

I feel like his ideal date would be getting lunch and then going to an Aquarium and depending on how it’s going dinner would be added

For some reason I think Giyuu would prefer dates to be only in the afternoon it wouldn’t be to early or too late for him

I think the Aquarium because I have a sneaking suspicion that Giyuu really likes sea animals the fish, octopus and sharks are his favourite

He probably has a fish tank

Giyuu would be really quite during the date so I think he would either like someone else to do the talking or would prefer someone who also enjoys the quite with him

Even though he has no idea what he is doing he definitely unintentionally lays down some charm

Opening the door for you

While walking he probably has an arm around your shoulder or has his hand on your back

He would probably buy the both of you matching plushies (I’m thinking dolphins) and then make your plushies kiss or something cute like that

I 100% believe Giyuu is such a charmer but doesn’t know it (probably thinks the date is going terrible)

Kocho Shinobu

I feel like Shinobu’s ideal date would be a movie in the afternoon and then a nice dinner

Basic I know but

I definitely believe Shinobu rarely goes on dates so she would probably look up date ideas or do dates she’s seen in movies

She would probably be pretty stiff at the beginning but the movie would definitely help with the nerves

At the dinner she would talk about how interesting or bad the movie was and then conversation would just flow easily with her

With Shinobu not knowing how to do dates she would definitely prefer a day or two notice before the date starts so she can prepare herself

She would try and act quite and just sit there and be pretty (she already is tho) as she has no idea on what to do

I feel like she would be fine with any type of date she would probably try anything once

Once Shinobu becomes more confident with dates I think her ideal date would still be a movie but then going window shopping then dinner

Same reasons earlier for why a movie

With the window shopping if the person she’s with is serious about her she would want to know what they like and dislike

It’s also just another way to get to know her date

If she think the date isn’t going well she would probably just skip to the dinner as I think she would find it useless to know stuff about her date if she thinks she won’t go out with them

You moved your arms around to try and find the body of one of your lovers but you were only left with cold empty sheets, letting out a groan you slowly sat up to begin your daily routine, that was until you heard somewhat silent screaming coming from the kitchen. Becoming slightly curious and concerned you made your way down the hall to the kitchen, the sight before you surprised you greatly.

Tengen had flour all over him while wearing a pair of mittens that were currently on fire as he was screaming in lower case, while Kyojuro was looking intensely at his phone while chopping wildly at a tomato getting the juice everywhere and on himself not noticing he was dicing the tomato into nothing.

‘What are you two doing?’ You spoke up groggy as the two flinched then turned to look at you. You still wore Tengens sweater and Kyojuro’s pants from last night while your bed hair was going everywhere ‘W-Well you see gem we wanted to make you something special for your birthday!’ Tengen exclaimed taking off the now charred mittens ‘But we don’t know how to cook food!’ Kyojuro called out like he normally would but you could tell he had a hint of nervousness.

‘Sorry… Love we didn’t mean to make a mess… or wake you…’ Tengen timidly spoke looking down in shame while Kyojuro did the same, smiling you walked up to the two ‘Don’t worry I’m not mad. Why don’t you two take a shower and we can all clean the kitchen together. Then we can order take out and cuddle on the couch and watch a movie’ you suggested as both the boys lit up knowing you weren’t angry at them.

Soon the three of you cleaned whatever it was Tengen and Kyojuro were trying to cook, as all of you sat on the big couch that could fit you all as each of you were eating the freshly delivered pizza ‘From now on you two are band from the kitchen’ you spoke looking through the movies available to watch ‘Fine by me! I prefer your cooking anyway Sunshine!’ Kyojuro spoke happily while cuddling against your left side.

‘Same here Diamond! I’ll pick your cooking all the time!’ Tengen exclaimed wrapping his arms around the both of you then leaning back bringing both yourself and Kyojuro laying on Tengen’s chest, smiling you gave both your boys a kiss then snuggled into Tengen’s chest with Kyojuro wrapping his arms around you and Tengen holding the both of you closer to himself ‘After this movie you both are going to take me out to get birthday gifts’ you spoke pressing play as both of them grinned at you, while the three of you finished your pizzas and occasionally made comments on the movie.

Random Demon Slayer Headcanons/Thoughts I think of

This has spoilers for the Demon Slayer manga and I will go in detail so I suggest not to read this unless you have read the manga

Shinobu and Giyuu in my opinion are much better as found siblings than as a couple, both of them went through traumatic experiences with their siblings before they were both adults. Out of all the Hashira those two are always seen together, both Shinobu and Giyuu I headcanon as gay and lesbian respectfully (I know I’m so original) I feel like we were robbed of a cool sibling relationship with these two. Plus these two have so many similarities that I just might make a separate post for these two

In addition to lesbian Shinobu I like to think she had a crush on Mitsuri when she first met her, but I think after Shinobu realised how in love Mitsuri was for Iguro, Shinobu would then hide her feelings even more and help Mitsuri with Iguro instead wanting Mitsuri to be happy over her own happiness

Muichiro usually answers with hums or a nod because he doesn’t really know how to respond in a conversation especially if it’s just small talk as he finds them pointless

Muichiro I like to think is AroAce and either demiboy or non binary and would use he/him and they/them pronouns. In the modern setting I think Muichiro would definitely be a gamer as he usually gets lost in his own world so I think if he got into a game he wouldn’t stop thinking about it and always get distracted by new game updates or randomly think of a game character he likes if something reminded him of them

I think we were robbed of a Rengoku and Iguro brother/childhood friends scenes. I like to think these two try and set up a time once a week/month were they catch up and see how the other is doing while hanging out, I think on one of these outings Rengoku invited Mitsuri a lot and that’s how both Mitsuri and Iguro would develop a deeper crush on each other with an oblivious Rengoku in the middle not getting the romance at all

Shinobu in the modern setting gives me big “Little Miss Perfect” vibes. I think she would win a lot of trophies for lots of competitions like fencing, tennis and writing but I think Shinobu would enjoy playing the piano the most

Sanemi I think would talk with Gyomie a lot about Genya asking if his little brother was doing ok or tell Gyomie about things Genya likes and dislikes, as well as try to convince Gyomie that he should quit the demon slayer corps. But I think Gyomie wouldn’t do that and instead try to convince Sanemi to fix his relationship with his brother

Tengen I think would have trauma from his dad and his upbringing and wouldn’t want to have kids thinking he would be a bad influence, though Hinatsuru, Makio and Suma would convince Tengen that he would be a great dad so after 2 years after the demon slayer war they would start trying for a family, I think Makio would get pregnant first then Suma then Hinatsuru I like to think they would have ten children in total with Suma having 4 children, Makio would have 3 and Hinatsuru would have 3

Modern setting Iguro would have a Netflix series about his family

Modern Shinobu would definitely read horror or thriller books while drinking jasmine tea or coffee and sitting by a window at a cafe sitting all pretty

Muichiro is Giyuu’s little brother both of them have quite conversations via eye contact

Rengoku is a terrible cook but is the absolute best at baking, he can make any type of bread or pastry his favourite one to make though are cakes, donuts and Swiss rolls and he lets Mitsuri and Senjirou taste test (High School Rengoku would be a part timer at a bakery the Kamado family owns)

Kanao made a decision she wanted a to grow a plant without flipping her coin and it was a succulent plant that she added to a terrarium she made after that she keeps in a bottle in her room

Modern Mitsuri would be the soft UwU girlfriend type but don’t be fooled by her soft pink sweaters and cute frog/cat stickers, this sweet girl can do all the hard work she can change a tire with no problem she can fix any leaking pipes need help carrying something heavy she’s got it

Modern Sanemi has a pet dog and whenever people find out they think it’s a big scary dog but I think Sanemi would have a either a Toy fox Terrier that is a rescue dog that’s missing a right eye (Mitsuri would crotchet a sweater for the dog)

Modern Iguro and Sanemi have a bros b4 hoes pact the gets broken 50% of the time when they have a boys night bc Mitsuri would booty call Iguro

Modern Mitsuri likes to play the ukulele especially love songs that she thinks would be cute to perform to Iguro, Mitsuri also practices her performance to her cat plush before showing Iguro but sometimes he catches her practice and falls even more in love every time

Modern Giyuu and Muichiro both hate phone calls. Muichiro hates them because he’ll have to remember what the phone call was about instead of having a history of all the things that have been said so it’s easier to remember stuff. Giyuu just doesn’t like talking on the phone or to people in general

Modern Nezuko is a big dinosaur nerd and has many dinosaur encyclopaedias ever since she was 10 and now that she’s 13 she’s visited a dinosaur museum at least 24 times, Nezuko has watched every Jurassic movie in existence at least 5 times in a row

Modern Tanjiro growing up had really bad eye sight and had to have glasses but now he uses contacts

Modern Zenitsu I like to think is actually really smart with school and usually aces all his exams and any surprise quizzes he gets, everyone just assumes his an idiot with the way he throws himself at people, I also think Zenitsu is bisexual and has a big crush on both Nezuko and Tanjiro

Inosuke is ftm transgendered and was fed up with his boobies so he stabbed his tits, a Kakushi then brought him to Shinobu who got rid of his boobs and once he explained he did it on purpose and it wasn’t a demon attack Shinobu then got Inosuke on testosterone

College + Modern AU Uzui would be a music major that works part time at a record label store and is in a punk rock band with Rengoku, Sanemi, Iguro and Kanae, Hinatsuru works at a cafe and is studying to be a marine biologist and hopes to work at a sea life rescue facility, Suma works at a pet adoption center and has a daily struggle to try not to adopt every animal that comes in and is the one that helped Sanemi find his pet, Makio is a freelance photographer that works mainly for add commercials and she is also studying for an arts degree, the four of them live in an apartment together and Makio owns an art studio to work in and to stay at if any of them needs space (I have story ideas for this headcanon already)

Modern Daki and Gyutaro are Tanjiro and Nezuko’s childhood friends Nezuko and Daki would get in a lot of fights but as they got older and went to high school together they became really close, Tanjiro and Gyutaro would already be good friends as Gyutaro would become much protective over Tanjiro and Nezuko and would become the ‘big’ brother out of the four

I feel as though we were robbed of some good storytelling with Hantengu and Nakemi out of all the underrated characters those two are my top tier favs and I wish we got more out of them other than the lower moons and Gyokko we don’t get to see their backstory much we also don’t really see much of them turning into demons with Nakemi being the one with little to no detail on her background I do know her husband was an asshole so she murdered him before a performance and would continue to murder before one for good luck, but she ran into Muzan and was then turned into a demon and I’m pretty sure you only get this info if you look for it, but dammit I love this murderous underrated Queen (I’ll go in depth about my fav underrated characters another time)

Modern Akaza/Hakuji have sensitive teeth and have to drink with a straw especially if he has ice with his drinks or else his teeth will get really irritated and will get a headache from how sensitive they are

Sick.

That was your current mindset, you were sick of being sick.

Your immune system was doing a bad job because you’ve had a cold for over a week! With no signs of getting better and your parents were away on a business trip, but luckily for you, you had a boyfriend and an amazing boyfriend at that Kyojuro Rengoku! Everyday after school he came to your place to take care of you by making a questionable chicken soup and helping you with your schoolwork so you don’t fall behind, while also making the lessons very enjoyable he’s definitely going to be a teacher when he grows up!

Currently you were a couch potato in its natural habitat when you heard the front door open joined with the sound of Kyojuro ‘Y/N! How are you love?’ He asked taking off his shoes and entering your home, you watched trying to hold a giggle at the excitement increasing as soon as he laid eyes on you ‘You’re on the couch today! Are you feeling any better?’ He questioned with his voice more quite then usual as to not make you feel uncomfortable in this state.

‘Well I’m feeling better then normal’ you said wrapping yourself even more in the many blankets surrounding you and Kyojuro couldn’t deny that you looked very adorable ‘Well that’s good to hear….’ Rengoku trailed off he could tell that you’ve been in a sour mood he would be too if he was this sick for so long. But as soon as that thought entered his head he also had a great idea as he lit up, walking towards the couch Rengoku sat next to you with a grin that you noticed looked very mischievous.

‘Hey Kyo what’s with that face-‘ you began but was cut off by Kyojuro grabbing your face then giving you a sweet kiss on your lips, if he were to have done this any other time you would’ve thought it was adorable and deepen the kiss, but you were sick damnit! Quickly you grabbed your boyfriend’s wrist and leaned away from his warm inviting lips ‘Sunshine I’m sick I don’t want to get you sick’ you spoke trying to be tough since he was giving you the puppy eyes while also pouting.

‘I don’t care if you’re sick, catching a cold from kissing you is worth it!’ He exclaimed and at that you thought maybe a little teasing wouldn’t hurt ‘Oh really? But aren’t the end of school test happening soon? If you catch a cold like the one I’ve got you might fail the test and lose your chances of going to university’ you spoke trying to suppress a smile at his distraught face.

‘But if you insist’ you rushed hoping he wouldn’t remember that he could just retake the test if he did get sick, Kyojuro’s eyes widen ‘Actually Y/N I changed my mind I don’t wanna get sick!’ He shouted trying to move away from you but couldn’t move that far since you were still holding his wrist, smirking you began to litter his face with kisses which erupted a laugh from him ‘That tickles!!’ He managed to laugh out and after a bit more of your attack you stopped and began to wipe away the tears that managed to form in his eyes.

You smiled widely as you met Kyojuro’s eyes and felt your heart soar with his face was filled with admiration and love all directed at you ‘God I love you’ he spoke and after a few seconds the weight of his words finally registered for him as he took in your silence ‘Ah! Sorry if I made you uncomfortable you can just forget what I said-‘ he rambled off until you kissed his lips trying to convey all your love for this man through this one kiss, and you slowly pulled away and opened your eyes to his flushed face as he stared at you.

‘I don’t think I ever want to forget those words, I love you too much to try’ you lovingly spoke then pulled your Sunshine in for some cuddles as you laid down while wrapping the blankets around you two comfortably ‘There’s this series I wanted to show you Love, you wanna watch it?’ You asked cuddling up to Kyojuro and leaning your forehead against his ‘I’d love to Darling’ he answered staring into your eyes still with heated cheeks as he gave you a peck before facing the TV to watch the show you put on.

Surprisingly a few days pass and instead of Kyojuro getting sick you were healthy as ever, and know you joke with your Sunshine that he needs to always say he loves you while giving you kisses or else you will never get better, but you know it’s just an excuse to get cuddled and get kisses that you adore as well as to hear those wonderful words fall from his lips.

The following days Rengoku and yourself came to an agreement to take care of Tomioka by giving him lots of treats and if he was comfortable enough the three of you would cuddle, you even made simmered salmon with daikon and when he saw it he smiled so you vowed to make the dish for him whenever he asked or visited again. You were reading a book on the engawa when you saw Rengoku walk up to you 'Hello Rengoku! It's a lovely morning don't you think?' You asked putting your book aside 'It is a fine morning!' He exclaimed but you could tell he was tense 'Is something wrong Rengoku?' You asked worriedly 'Yes actually! Back in the hot springs, I noticed that your body had been very scarred but I didn't want to say anything since we were comforting Giyuu!' He spoke in a serious tone which shocked you with how series he suddenly got 'Ah. Yes I received heavy abuse from my family growing up before I ran away' you explained and you saw the Flame Hasira visibly tense 'But I'm much better here!' you happily exclaimed 'That's good to hear' Kyojuro said smiling 'Is there anything else you needed?' You asked

'Yes! Myself and Tomioka thought a picnic would be lovely today! If you'll like to join us!' The fiery man exclaimed 'That sounds wonderful!' You cheered, following the Hashira to a cute picnic that was set up under a tree and saw Tomioka sitting under it 'Hello Tomioka! How are you today?' You asked sitting next to the said male 'Better than I have been for a while' he spoke and you swear you saw a hint of a smile both you and Kyojuro beamed at Giyuu and he looked down at his lap, there was already one sun he didn't need two more. Rengoku also sat down with both males siting on either sides of you 'This looks delicious you two!' You exclaimed since both Hashira's wanted to cook while you relaxed 'Yes! It does! I almost burnt the food but Giyuu managed to save it! He's a pretty good cook!' Kyojuro exclaimed with a closed eye smile 'I'm not that good' Giyuu mumbled sipping from his drink shyly 'Nonsense! We would be eating charcoal if you didn't come to help!' Kyojuro boasted.

The three of you began to eat in a comfortable silence with the occasional "Umai!" Coming from Rengoku 'So is there a reason for this picnic?' You asked 'Well today was our last day here! So I thought it would be nice to have a picnic before we left!' Kyojuro proclaimed making you choke on your food while Giyuu rubbed your back 'T-That was today! I must have forgotten I'm so sorry!' You yelled apologizing 'I was going to make gifts for the both of you but I must have forgotten!' You explained clearly distressed that they wouldn't have a gift before they left 'You don't need to give us any gifts L/N! You have been a wonderful host and I am sure Giyuu will agree that spending time with you has been a wonderful time!' Kyojuro exclaimed and his smile was the biggest you've ever seen from him.

Giyuu nodded along with the fire like man with a small smile form on his face, the Water Hashira hadn't felt this comfortable in so long you had been absolutely wonderful you and Rengoku make him feel special and warm in his heart whenever his with you two, but it saddens him he has to leave you, but maybe you two could send each other letters by crow! Kyojuro felt the exact same as Tomioka he had always admired Giyuu and wanted to get closer with him and after talking with Mitsuri he found out that he was actually crushing on the Water Hashira but when he met you and got to know you as well as Giyuu over the week he knew he wanted to spend the rest of his life with you and Giyuu.

But all good things come to an end as it was time for the two men to leave 'L/N I was wondering if we could exchange letters. I would also like to do the same with you Rengoku' Tomioka spoke getting the attention of the both of you 'I would love to Tomioka!' You exclaimed happily as the three of you agreed to send letters to each other. Once again you were back in the clearing to bid Rengoku and Tomioka goodbye and greet your new guest, but you were a little surprised when you saw a giant of a man and three beautiful woman with him 'Uzui it's great to see you again!' Kyojuro yelled out to his friend 'Ah! Kyojuro you're looking as flamboyant as ever! How have you been!' The two men yelled enthusiastically as you and Tomioka when on the side trying not to become deaf.

The two loud men seemed to be catching up with each other so you decided to greet the other guests, you walked over to the three woman and god they were all really pretty you even felt a bit insecure talking to them 'Um... Hello!' You spoke grabbing the girls attention as they turned to look at you, you steadied your breathing and brought back your usual smile on 'I'm L/N Y/N! I'll be taking care you this week. I hope you three don't mind me saying but you all are very beautiful!' You exclaimed albeit rather shy with reddish cheeks.

The three girls before you felt their hearts clench, you were just too cute for them, the youngest of the three women let out a squeal 'Aahh! L/N you're so cute! Absolutely adorable I could just eat you up!' She yelled out cupping her cheeks as her words made you blush furiously, suddenly the girl next to her slapped her across the head 'Idiot! The other girl that had her hair in a high ponytail tried to calm the other two down while the angry girl with blond bangs/fringe and black hair in a ponytail ignored the more calm girl to continue beating the crying girl 'WWAAAHHH! The cowering girl cried out 'You two calm down' the calmer of the three continued to calm the rowdier of the two, you looked over to Rengoku and the man one of the girls called "Lord Tengen" as the two men were having quite a loud conversation, you turned to look at Giyuu as he was awkwardly standing at the side “I’m gonna miss the quiet huh?” You thought

The following days Sanemi and Mitsuri were patrolling around your home the two Hashira felt as though they were married to you, you would wake up and make breakfast for the three of you, and sometimes if you weren’t finished the both of them would help you, Kanroji asked you out to get Sakura Mochi and it was an absolute blast for the both of you and Mitsuri even bought (Fav color) socks that matched hers and you’ve been wearing them every day. Sanemi and you made Ohagi that the three of you ate together and you haven’t felt this happy in so long, you were kind of feeling upset about the both of them leaving but the three of you agreed to send letters to each other and you would get to meet new people so that cheered you up, so the three of you had some lunch before you saw the two Hashira off and would invite the next Hashira to your home. The three of you were walking down the familiar path to where you would meet two more Hashira.

Before you even arrived at the spot you heard someone yelling loudly to another person, you could see Kanroji get excited by the voice. When you entered the clearing you saw two people who seemed to be opposites, one resembled a calmly flowing river while the other was a fiercely exited flame 'Kyojuro! How are you?' Kanroji greeted the fire like man running up to him, you looked towards Sanemi and noticed he seemed very angry, you placed your hand gently on his arm making him tense a bit then look down towards you 'Are you ok Sanemi?' You asked filled with concern 'I'm fine just annoyed is all' Sanemi mumbled to you, the two of you then went to join the group 'Ah! Kyojuro this is L/N Y/N aren't they cute?' Kanroji asked introducing you to the other Hashira.

'Yes, they are! I'm Rengoku Kyojuro! It's nice to meet you!' The man yelled obnoxiously loud and you couldn't help but flinch at how loud he was 'Oi! Talk quieter' Sanemi growled at Rengoku and the Flame Hashira's smile seemed to dim due to you flinching 'I'm sorry L/N! I didn't mean to startle you!' Rengoku was still yelling but its volume was noticeably lower, you looked over to the other Hashira who was still unnamed to you. He was looking towards the ground and the air around him felt lonely, you walked up to him and he looked down at you at your approaching footsteps 'I'm L/N Y/N what's your name?' You asked introducing yourself but he stared down at you and you could feel Social Anxiety all over him 'You don't have to answer me, you're here to enjoy yourself and relax!' You explained and you could see and feel the Hashira in front of you calm down a little.

Sanemi and Kanroji were off and you were leading the new Hashira's to your home 'So! Your home is surrounded by Wisteria flowers?' Rengoku exclaimed 'Yes it blooms year-round here like at Fujikasane Mountain' you explained and you could feel the energy of the unnamed Hashira shift to one of self-loathing, you looked towards him he had his eyes downcast with a solemn look on his face 'Oh! My home is just up ahead!' You exclaimed grabbing the two Hashira's attention as they looked forward and you watched as they both stiffened and took in your home. Kyojuro couldn't believe his eyes it was a feeling like he was a child again and he would go inside and see his late mother again.

Giyuu was stunned, the air around your home was the same when he was a child and Tsutako was still alive, or when he was training with Sabito. Your home was so comforting and warm it was reminding the two boys of their fondest memories where they were taken care of and loved for, as before you showed the two their rooms and gave them a spare yukata to wear, but this time you went to your greenhouse to take care of your plants, you went to your room and put on a sombrero vueltiao, a dark blue ruana over a light grey shirt, a pair of black pants and finally your espadrilles.

In your greenhouse, you were growing herbs, vegetables, flowers, succulents, and cacti (they were your favorite) you put on some gardening gloves and got to work, making sure all the plants were taken care of properly until you heard the door open and looked to see Rengoku 'Ah! Hello, Rengoku I'm just taking care of my babies you can stay if you like' you said spritzing a baby succulent with water 'Did you grow all these?' Kyojuro asked in a softer voice than before as he looked all around, you had some hanging from the ceiling, some latching onto the wall and a few growing in the ground and some in a planter pot 'What are these?' He asked and you turned to see him pointing at your potatoes 'Those are my potatoes. I heard from Kanroji that you love sweet potatoes. I don't mind making some for lunch' you said and couldn't help but let out a giggle as Rengoku reminded you of the sun with that big smile of joy he had on his face.

You harvested the potatoes and some galinsoga parviflora, caper, and corn to make for lunch you weren't sure if your other mysterious guest would like what you make but if he doesn't you'll just make something else for him! You went to your kitchen and placed your ingredients on the bench and other things you might need and began to prepare lunch. When you had just finished making the sweat potatoes you felt your silent guest stand next to you, his energy was curious this time 'Hello! I'm just making some Ajiaco for lunch, it's from my home country' you said enthusiastically looking up at the man 'Tomioka Giyuu' he said suddenly confusing you.

'My name is Tomioka Giyuu' he finally said 'It's nice to meet you Tomioka! I'm L/N Y/N!' You happily introduced yourself glade that he was comfortable enough to introduce himself 'Is there anything I can do for you Tomioka?' You asked and silence followed but you still looked up at him 'It's ok, take your time' you said with a patient smile and after a few seconds he spoke up 'C-Could I help you with the food?' He asked shyly avoiding eye contact, at this, you beamed up at him 'Of course, you can!' You said then gave the Hashira a task as you did yours, there was a comfortable silence between you two.

Tomioka felt very relaxed in your presence, he didn't feel extremely awkward to try and talk with you and you wouldn't get angry with him like Sanemi or make him sad by bad-mouthing him like Iguro. The two of you then add the last things then served the food and Rengoku joined you two as soon as he smelt the sweat potatoes, every time Kyojuro would take a bite of the sweet potato he would boisterously yell out an "Umai!" He and Tomioka both tried your Ajiaco and said it was delicious. The three of you were in the comfort room, you were talking with Kyojuro, and Giyuu was listening and joining in time to time, Cherry suddenly flew through an open window and landed in your lap you gave her a cherry as she cawed happily and you gave her soft head pats.

'Tomioka Giyuu! Rengoku Kyojuro! Demons have been staying around Y/N's home! Kagaya asks that you petrol at night! Make sure Y/N is safe!' Cherry ordered to the two Hashira 'Is there anything else you can tell us?' Tokioka asked 'No more information! Ask Y/N!' Cherry screeched out then flew out the window to probably sleep in the sun, the two Hashira then turned to you, and you explained the day a demon almost kidnapped you while mentioning that part you saw the two men visibly tense up 'But in the end, Sanemi and Kanroji saved me' you finished off 'Well that was very brave of them! I'm glad they were able to rescue you!' Rengoku shouted out and Tomioka agreed nodding.

'You two don't have to patrol tonight. I'm sure you two are tired so I'm sure you can rest until tomorrow night!' You exclaimed 'That would be atrocious of us to not help someone in need because of tiredness! I'm sure Tomioka agrees!' Rengoku exclaimed and again Giyuu also agreed 'Well in the meantime while the sun is still up, how about we enjoy the hot springs!' You exclaimed and after the both of them agreed and now you three were relaxing in the hot water 'This is very relaxing L/N!' Rengoku exclaimed crossing his arms and closing his eyes.

You could tell that both of them were pretty relaxed enjoying the heat against their tense muscles 'Did the two of you have a specific reason for joining the Demon Slayer Corps?' I-I would like to talk about it to some' Giyuu began. He knew that if he kept on bottling in his feelings they would just overflow and he did want to get all his troubles off his chest.

'I joined the Demon Slayer Corps due to my older sister Tsutako getting eaten by a demon' he said and you could feel his energy unbearably sorrowful but you could also feel a sense of relief 'I'm sure she was an amazing sister' you said which result in Giyuu letting out silent tears, you moved to where he was and embraced him while combing your fingers through his hair, you felt Kyojuro move and hug Tomioka from behind 'I can't imagine how devastating that must of felt. How old were you?' Kyojuro asked his voice was filled with much sadness 'I-I was 13' Giyuu managed to sob out and you and Kyojuro both tightened your hug on the Water Hashira 'She d-died the day before her wedding!' Giyuu cried out shoving his head into your shoulder blade.

His shoulders were trembling with the force of his sobs, both you and Kyojuro held Tomioka as he let out what must have been years worth of tears. After a few more minutes Giyuu calmed down enough as you and Kyojuro stopped the group hug but were close enough to hug the Water Hashira 'I met a boy named Sabito he was amazing! He almost defeated every demon during Finale Selection' Giyuu started and you could see the fondness on his face recalling the memory 'But he was killed. I was injured as soon as the trial started... I don't deserve to be a Hashira I couldn't kill a single demon on that mountain, it would be better if I died instead' Giyuu said that with such confidence he must have thought it was a fact.

'I don't think so' you said kind of annoyed that he would think such a thing 'But-' 'No buts. I can tell that you've worked so hard to become a Hashira. Also saying that you're better off dead is an insult to Tsutako and Sabito's memory. Do you have any other relatives? If not that Tsutako will be forgotten. Sabito might have someone else that will remember him but if you were to die, then all the memories you shared with him will disappear you ranted on and cupped Giyuu's face looking into his eyes 'So don't ever say you wish to die ever again!' You demanded. Giyuu was at a loss you had reminded of that very important conversation he had with Sabito.

Tomioka could feel the tears coming again and latched onto you in a hug again and you returned the hug. Soon enough the three of you had to get out of the hot springs or else you would turn pruny all over, both Hashira were preparing to go out to patrol and you made a bento for the both of them and you sent the both of them off, but not before insisting they can wait until the next night but Rengoku was having none of that. So the Hashira were off to patrol the area around your home, you just hope the both of them will be fine.

It was dawn as Tanjiro was in the room you were sleeping in, he was writing in his journal, finishing he blew the light out and walked out the room, he looked at your sleeping form ‘Let’s go’ Urokodaki spoke looking at Tanjiro Nezuko stood up just finished putting her shoes on, Tanjiro closed the door to the room.

‘The Demon Slayer Core we number in the hundreds. An organization completely unrecognized by the government, since ancient times we have existed to hunt down demons. However, the identity of the Demon Slayer Cores leader has always remained a mystery. Demons their staple food humans, they hunt and kill them, it is unclear when or where they first appeared. ‘I am a trainer, my job is to teach new swordsman there are many other trainers, each one is different they all educate their students using their own methods. We go down the mountain day after day. We both have become quite good at avoiding the traps. Nezuko and I have become stronger and my nose is even sharper at picking up scents. But the traps are getting much deadlier. It’s like he wants to kill us. Today we went down the mountain with a katana. It really gets in the way, so me and Nezuko got caught in a lot more traps.

Today we both started swinging the katana I say “today” but lately we do this every day. After descending the mountain, we swing our Katina's so much we feel like our arms will fall off.

The first thing he taught us was the katana breaks easily. It’s strong against force lengthwise. But weak against force from the side. With a katana you must attack straight ahead. When you swing a katana the direction of the blade and the direction of the force you apply must be the exact same. Furthermore, Urokodaki said. Nezuko had cut her own hair, it ended at her chest since her long hair would get in the way of training ‘Hey Tanjiro, how long do you think (Y/N) will be asleep for?’ She asked looking down at you worried you had been asleep for three weeks now ‘I’m not sure but we have to stay strong for (Y/N)!’ Tanjiro exclaimed smiling at Nezuko she smiled back ‘Right!’ She responded putting you back in your futon, then she gave you a goodnight kiss ‘Good night (Y/N)’ she said then exited the room going to the one she shared with Tanjiro.

Today’s lesson was about breathing techniques and fighting forms. ‘Total concentration breathing?’ Tanjiro asked ‘That's right. Also, I’m going to be teaching you all ten water breathing forms. Start by taking a long deep breath so the oxygen flows through every cell in your body, this will enhance your healing ability and stabilize as well as energies your spirit. Now relax your arms and shoulders but keep your lower body braced’ both siblings did what Urokodaki said ‘Good, now breath’ the both of them took in a long breath but chocked when Urokodaki put pressure on their stomach.

‘Wrong! Next the forms’ Urokodaki spoke Tanjiro got into different poses ‘Right! How am I doing!’ ‘All wrong!’ ‘How about now?!’ ‘Still wrong!’ ‘Now?!’ ‘Again!’ ‘Now?!’ ‘Terrible!’ Urokodaki then continuously slapped Tanjiro’s stomach while Nezuko looked at the two with a blank face.

I get yelled at for not bracing my stomach and get clobbered to a pulp. The next lesson we had to become one with the water. Both Nezuko and Tanjiro looked over a very high cliff ‘Urokodaki are you sure this is safe?’ Nezuko asked ‘What are you waiting for get in already’ Urokodaki spoke then pushed Tanjiro with his foot making him fall of the edge ‘Aah! Tanjiro!’ Nezuko yelled as Tanjiro fell down ‘I’m doing this for (Y/N)!’ Tanjiro yelled as he fell ‘Now your turn’ Urokodaki said also kicking Nezuko over the cliff ‘wwwwhhhhyyyyyyy!’ Nezuko yelled as Urokodaki looked at their bodies floating down stream

As of now (Y/N) has been asleep for six months. Urokodaki called a doctor to look at you but he found nothing wrong. Yet it’s strange you keep sleeping like this. Nezuko and I are really scared I thought I’d wake up in the morning and you’d be dead. And that’s still how I feel every night. Nezuko hasn’t been doing too good either. She doesn’t take that many breaks and she’s constantly training I’m really worried about her-

Tanjiro looked over to you but you were gone ‘huh…. (Y/N)! Where are you!’ Tanjiro yelled immediately running out of the room he could faintly smell you and followed your scent until he found you standing in front of Nezuko she was crying at the sight of you, she ran up to you for a hug but instead of returning it you punched her! (Texas Smash!) ‘Nezuko what do you think you're doing! You're scaring me and Tanjiro! You should be taking care of yourself……I told you to be strong not reckless, you won’t be able to protect me or Tanjiro if you can’t protect yourself’ you were lecturing her sternly but you then returned to a calm voice of an older sibling.

You sat in front of her and hugged her ‘Please don’t hurt yourself like this’ you finished as Nezuko began sobbing. You looked up at Tanjiro who was shocked with tears of his own, you gave him your sweet smile and lifted an arm to invite him to join the hug. He sprinted and jumped at you two making you fall down, you gave a big laugh and hugged the two even tighter, they began to laugh as well they were so happy you were awake. Urokodaki had given the two the day off so you could catch up with the two.

When you were reading over Tanjiro’s journey you immediately got interested in total concentration breathing, you asked Urokodaki if he could teach it to you, and he was extremely surprised when you picked it up very quickly, you began to do the breathing constantly! ​​​​​​‘Urokodaki - Sama do you teach Tanjiro and Nezuko hand to hand combat?’ You asked the next day as said man was making dinner ‘No I do not, why do you ask?’ He questioned facing you ‘Well what if their katana breaks, or if it’s out of reach?’ You asked bringing up a good point ‘Well I don’t know much in hand-to-hand combat’ he said giving you a bowl of the soup he was making.

You didn’t go back to sleep after that it seems you got energy from eating instead of sleeping so you constantly had food on you ‘Hey! I can teach them! Please let me!’ You we’re excitedly looking at the man like a child, he let out a soft chuckle and ruffled your hair ‘Of course you can teach them’ he said ‘Teach who what?’ You looked at the door to see Nezuko and Tanjiro coming in after training each getting their own bowl and began eating ‘Starting tomorrow I’m going to teach you two hand to hand combat!’ You yelled as the siblings spit out the soup in shock and looked at you then Urokodaki.

They immediate moved behind the man as they stared at you in horror ‘Please Urokodaki don’t let (Y/N) do this!’ The two yelled ‘And since you two have become stronger I’m going to make the training harder than ever!’ You exclaimed finishing the soup while getting seconds. The two looked at each other in horror the last time you had taught them it was hell, even worse with the training they were currently doing ‘Now (Y/N), I think it’s best if Tanjiro and Nezuko stick to the training they're already doing’ Urokodaki said which made the siblings let out a sigh of relief.

You began wolfing down the soup then stopped to stare at the man ‘Fine if you say so’ you whined continuing to eat as Tanjiro and Nezuko fixed up the soup they spilled and began to eat.

Coming down the mountains even tougher now, we start up higher so the airs even thinner. It’s also really annoying when (Y/N) decided to also do training and they excelled at everything they even start at the top of the mountain. (Y/N) made it seem like it was effortless but I couldn’t really stay mad since (Y/N) is awake and even cheers me and Nezuko on. More than a few times I thought I was going to die.

‘That’s it I’ve taught you all I can. The rest is all up to you, you have to prove your capable of advancing to the next level. Come with me!’ Urokodaki said as Tanjiro and Nezuko followed him, it was starting to snow. Urokodaki stopped and the siblings stared at two huge boulders ​​​​​​’If you can cut this boulder in two. I will allow you to enter the final selection’ Urokodaki said and then walked away ignoring the two calling out to him.

“Is this really……. even possible can a katana even cut through that?” The two thought staring at the boulders with doubt. Tanjiro brought his katana out and swung down, the vibration from the impact on the rock shook all over Tanjiro. He looked at his katana relived ‘It didn’t brake’ Nezuko said also bringing out her katana and trying what Tanjiro did with the same outcome.

From then on, I spent every day practicing what I learnt from Urokodaki. All the basics like holding my breath and staying flexible, it’s a good thing I wrote it down in this journal. Nezuko had asked (Y/N) to help get her body stronger, (Y/N) training methods were odd they asked Nezuko to punch a tree until her knuckles bled, and also kick a tree till she felt her legs break. (Y/N) did some teachings like Urokodaki like with the breathing techniques they also made Nezuko do painful stretches making her more flexible. I joined in as well and I could feel myself becoming stronger. But even after six more months I can’t cut through the boulder. It’s frustrating enough, I’m not training hard enough. I got to do more.

It was almost sundown and Tanjiro was still at it with the boulder. He suddenly banged his head on the rock ‘Come on Tanjiro you can do this!’ He yelled to himself banging his head on the rock again ‘Silence’ a voice said making Tanjiro gasp. Looking up he saw a boy around his age with a fox mask and peach like hair, he had a wooden sword ‘It’s unseemly to whine so knock it off’ he spoke his voice calm “Who's this guy?” Tanjiro thought looking up at him “He has no scent and what’s with the mask?” Tanjiro continued to question him.

‘A demon slayer bares his suffering in silence, isn’t that what you want to be?’ The boy asked standing up ‘Then start acting like it’ he said then jumped off the rock and swung at Tanjiro who blocked him, the boy brought his leg up and kicked Tanjiro sending him away ‘Your slow, weak and immature that’s not what I’d call a demon slayer’ the boy said as Tanjiro stared at him.
