today’s episode of ‘my hobbies hate me’
went kitesurfing today with my family, like most days
everything was fine until I, very gracefully, launched myself full speed toward the edge of the beach
which, fun fact, is not soft sand
no
it’s coral
sharp, evil coral
couldn’t stop
my kite was like “lol no brakes for you”
so i got dragged over rocks and coral like a bargain bin action figure
so now my right leg is super swollen, covered in scrapes and those gross skin-tearing lines that look like i got attacked by a cheese grater (idk how else to describe them lol)
left knee? busted open like it was auditioning for a gore movie and would. not. stop. bleeding.
now it’s mummified in bandages like i’m trying out for The Mummy reboot
my back is also half torn up and covered in scrapes
lowkey looks like i got mauled by a bear
and i’m currently giving rainbow realness thanks to the stunning collection of bruises i’ve got going on
10/10 beach day
