Kagaya is the head of the Ubyashiki clan, his family made a deal with the (L/N) clan that he would marry one of their many, many children. He was now on his quest to get his future wife.

The (L/N) clan have mastered the cherry blossom breathing style, they are a very driven clan. Kagaya met the best of the best, but he was more intrigued by you.

You were filthy, you had messy hair, and you were obviously malnourished. “What’s your name?” Kagaya asked you as he extended a hand to help you up. You trembled in fear, as you accepted his hand, getting up. “I… I’m (Y/n) (L/N).. who are you..?” You whispered.

“My name is Kagaya Ubuyashiki, I am the leader of the demon slayer corps.” He smiled at you as he led you away from your family. “How’s your day been, dear?” He asked as he led you to a cherry blossom tree.

“…the same as always..” you whispered as you sat down infront of the tree. He smiled as he sat down beside you, “they don’t treat you very well do they?” He asked as he brushed some of you hair out of your face.

You looked down as you shook your head no, “how would you like to be my wife.. if you don’t want to, you don’t have to.” He spoke with a smile as he held your fragile hand.

You looked up at him with tears in your eyes, “does that mean I get to leave..” you whispered. He smiled as he nodded and lifted you back up. “You get to leave and help me serve as the leader of the demon slayer corps; I’ve met your other siblings, but none compare to you.” He spoke as he led you back into the main room.

“I want (Y/N) to be my wife.” Kagaya spoke with a smile as he began to lead you out, “You can’t choose her! She’s the weakest, surely she’d be no use to you.” Your father spoke standing infront of the door.

“Please move out of my way, she is the perfect fit. I want none of your other children.” He spoke calmly staring at your father. He growled before stepping aside, “Don’t bring that trash back!”

Kagaya smiled as he left the grounds with you, “Now it’s time for a better life..”

Kagaya has practically nursed you back to health, he gave you a roof over your head, food whenever you wanted, and he was overall the most caring soul you’ve ever met.

You’ve grown custom to his company, so when he left to go recruit the stone hashira without you, you finally realized how much you had grown to love him.

You were eating some food waiting for him to get home, you were looking at the land that he had built. It’s was honestly beautiful, the same could be said about the man. You were caught up in your thoughts, so you didn’t hear the door open.

“I’m back, Dear.” He spoke gently from behind you as he approached you. You sat your food down and ran to him, you wrapped your arms around his slim waist, and put your head on his chest.

“I missed you so much Kagaya… how was your travels.” You asked as you looked up at him with a big smile, glad to finally have him back.

The two of you haven’t really been affectionate toward each other in your marriage, so when Kagaya suddenly got the urge to kiss you, he felt nervous.

“Dear… I want to kiss you… may I..?” He asked nervously, you smiled even bigger (if that’s possible). You placed your lips on his softly, placing your hand on his chest. He tighten his grip around your waist, as he brought a hand up to your cheek.

“You don’t have to ask, I’m your wife silly.” You giggled when you pulled away, he smiled down at you and placed another kiss on your lips.

“I know, you’re mine..”
