● The history…, is said to go back to Edo period. Hana-kanzashi (Hana means Flower. Kanzashi means Hair accessories) which was popular among the women of the court in Kyoto was brought to Edo Ohoku(the seraglioof Shogun general), and spread to common. There were many artizans at that time,otherwise few are remain.On the otherside, as the accomplishment of ladies, it was taught in girl's high schools.

●Now…, Few professional Edo-Tsumami-Kanzashi artizans are remain. Nowadays the people who likes to make tsumami-zaiku as a hobby are increasing. It used to be made of silk once, rayon becomes popular now.The way to arrange Tsumami-zaiku is diversified.

異なる言語、考え、習慣、文化、伝統を持っています。

それら全てを理解するのは難しすぎるかもしれません。

それゆえに、

誤解が生まれ意思疎通が　うまくできない場合もあります。

同じ言語を話す同士ですら お互いを理解するのは簡単ではありません。

ですから 言語によって 意思疎通がうまくいかない時でも

双方が想像力を働かせ 双方が 根気よく　思いやりをもち

言葉ではなく、相手の心の訴えを 理解しようと努力することで

言葉が 完璧に 解らなくても 理解しあえる人間同士に なれることがあります。

良い人間関係を築くには 思いやりと根気が必要ではないかと 自身は思うのです...

While the world's population is said to be around 8.3 billion… There are approximately 123.1 million Japanese people. Unfortunately…

The reality is that the Japanese population is steadily decreasing.

What I want to say is… As you know, the internet is not just a place for local meetings, but also a place where the world can be connected with just a touch.

Out of the 8.3 billion people in the world, you and I have now met like a miracle.

I want to remember that we are sharing this wonderful time together. Everyone has a finite amount of time in their life.

If there are people who are simply hating someone, envious of someone, or quarreling with each other through negative thoughts and words…

(Aren't we wasting the time we only have once in our lives?) This is my own opinion regarding the current world…

Of course, there are times when humans must fight for something or someone.However, life is not long enough to engage in negative conflicts just for the sake of everyday, temporary self-interest.

見返り美人図

Today I decided to dress and pose as a famous painting: 見返り美人図 otherwise known as Beauty Looking Back.

This painting was a singular stand alone piece made by Hishikawa Moronobu who is mostly known for his innovative ways regarding the method of coloring for ukiyo-e woodblock. This method was very influential due to how my house simply only had black print before then.

To showcase the painting’s popularity even more so, the “Beauty Looking Back” painting was adopted as the pattern for the first Japanese postage stamp after WW2 in 1948.

Dazai Photo Location?

Hi anyone and everyone who sees this! So, my favorite author is Osamu Dazai, ofc, known for writing No Longer Human, The Setting Sun, etc. I’ve been a fan of him for some time now, and am finally going on a trip across Japan sooner or later!! 🥳🥳 This was one of the most interesting photo’s I had of Dazai, and was hoping to be able to find and visit this place. The problem is, though, is that after weeks I can’t find this location online, nor even just the river itself :( (i might just be stupid but idk.) if anyone who lives in japan, or possibly could know/find this place or just the specific river, pls leave coordinates or anything below! Thank you! 💕
