so anyways i still haven't stopped thinking about that one tiktok where the person saw spider-man chilling eating a hot dog one day and went up to him to ask him what he thought about peter parker and it was so obvious the person was trying to start some drama or whatever but instead spidey just apparently went on for like ten minutes about how awesome peter parker is and how good he is at photography and how smart he is and how they've been friends for like ten years

that's what i've been saying!! i mean guys? peter parker is LITERALLY the only photographer that spidey ever allows to get proper photos of him? he's been taking photos of spidey since he was in high school! he literally put out a photobook that was entirely pictures of spider-man.

y'all are reaching so hard i'm surprised you haven't pulled a muscle. if parker was really in love with spidey would he have sold his pictures to a newspaper that does nothing but slander spider-man's good name? from what i've heard, jjj pays parker pretty well for his spider-man photos. he's not taking pictures of spidey out of love or anything, it's all just for money. same with the book. he's a sellout.

like guys just hear me out okay? spider-man obviously wouldn't want his real identity to be well known to the public, and publicly dating johnny would put him at constant risk of being found out. so that's why they have johnny fake date peter parker! he's the perfect candidate! i mean, we all know he has ties to, like, a ridiculous number of superheroes. he's worked for both reed richards and tony stark, and people have snapped pics of him hanging out with captain america and deadpool. he's even been spotted with daredevil and daredevil hates everyone! so him dating johnny wouldn't really put him at any more danger of being targeted by villains than he was already in. and what's in it for peter? i mean, he gets to live in the baxter building (he probably has his own secret apartment and doesn't actually live with johnny) and probably gets a bunch of expensive gifts and stuff to compensate for all the shit he has to put up with for being johnny's partner.

Prompt:
Tony never visits his parents graves. To many memories.
But one day he was out with Happy, on his Mother's birthday they neared the cemetery where they were buried. And he felt a strong urge to go there.
Even though he hasn't been here since the funeral he knows exactly where to go. Which is a surprise considering how plastered he was for it.
But what he isn't expecting is for someone to be at the tomb stones, cleaning it. Talking a mile a minute as if there was a live person there. Scrubbing and getting some of the grime off the headstone.
" I'll make sure to bring some flowers or plants next time I'm here. I just couldn't pass up the chance to NOT clean your headstone. You would think the grounds keeper would take better care. But since I was already here cleaning up, Uncle Ben's might as well fix you up too. Your son is doing great work, you know that? Course you do. But still I read his latest paper and it's really neat. I wonder if I could tweak some of the"
And that is how Tony met one Peter Parker.
Chapter 02.
“So.” Bakugo sighed, meeting your eyes.
“So.” You echoed, averting your gaze.
“You two both need outfits for the gala.” Tommie said pointedly. “Wren and I-” ‘Bakugo’s PR manager’ you recalled, she was there when you had grabbed the man and almost began fist fighting with him in his office, “Have decided that you should both be wearing matching outfits.”
The mere thought of wearing anything matching with the likes of Bakugo has you wanting to claw your own arms off. Clearly Bakugo is more composed than you since he just inhales sharply and rubs his forehead with his hand.
“Right… so… where are we getting these outfits done up exactly?” Bakugo sighed, looking at Tommie who waved his hand absentmindedly at the pro’s face.
“Oh y'know… Mitsuki… Bakugo…”
“Are you FUCKING-”
Bakugo ran a hand across his face and he groaned. He tossed his phone across his bed, watching it hit against his bedside lamp and stop moving on his bedside table. Kirishima’s text glared at him from behind his eyelids.
‘Your crush on them.’
He was being ridiculous. That’s right. All of the bright red hair dye has seeped into his skull and started fucking around with his brain cells. He didn’t have a crush on anyone, he didn’t fucking have time for that shit anyways.
In his very humble and not at all biased opinion, love was:
A waste of time.
Overrated.
Not in Bakugo's best interests.
Not in Bakugo’s plan to become the number one hero.
Too much effort.
Too much work to maintain.
Could potentially cause emotional turmoil.
Usually have unrealistic expectations.
So why did the idea of being in love with you have such an affect on him? It didn’t make any sense. He was probably just hungry or tired or- y'know what it didn’t matter much anyways. He had shit to do, stuff to get done. Shit on his plate he needed to deal with.
Bakugo sat up from his seat on the bed, fist bunching up the sheets around him. He looked longingly at the suit being hung up in his closet.
This is going to be one long fucking month.

Ingo heard the small ping in his pocket followed by several more in the span of time it took him to pick up his phone. All Emmet. The texts were all just his brother texting his name with one exclamation point.
Not an emergency, then, that would be worthy of two or more.
He could tell from the bottom corner that Emmet was typing probably another of the same message. Small miracles his brother hadn't learned the copy-paste ability.
What?
Ingo sent the text, barely having time to blink before getting a response.

Ingo rolled his eyes and bit back the need to respond with something along the lines of "I can, you've seen me make it", but decided not to this time.
Instead, Ingo moved on autopilot to the kitchen. They kept a stockpile of "Mac n chee" for a reason.
The water was halfway to a boil when Ingo got another text. Elesa this time.
I'm bringing ketchup :3
NO
Ingo texted back quickly in all caps. She was always allowed to join but she knew the rules of "mac n chee". No ketchup.
He swapped to the message with Emmet. It was a mess of happy faces and reaction gifs by now.
Emmet. She's bringing ketchup.
I'm on it.
Measure the milk, get the butter, strain the noodles, add in the cheese, mix, ignore the screaming, all part of the routine.
"Don't you DARE get it on my coat!"
"Don't get it on MINE! Why did you bring it??"
"It tastes good, you two just have no ta- Stop give it back!!!"
"Victory!"
Ingo laughed at their antics, spooning the food into three bowls. "It's ready!" He meant only to call loud enough for them to hear from the doorway, but it ended up louder than they'd been yelling. Whoops.
"Verrrrry good! Thank you!" Emmet said, hiding the ketchup on the top of the refrigerator with the other 7 bottles of contraband she'd dared to bring. Wait there were only 6 now- was she stealing them to continue-
"Thank you, Ingo." Elesa took one of the bowls from him with a smile that made Ingo immediately suspicious. "It'll be great with this!"
She produced a small ketchup packet from her pocket and poured the contents onto the mac n chee before the brothers could stop her.
"No…" Ingo whispered, heartbroken.
His brother fell to his knees dramatically. "I've failed! No!!!"
"Dweebs." Elesa said, triumphantly mixing her evil concoction. She took a bite, it tasted like victory.
Let me talk about Dazai Osamu.
Dazai is often so animated, whether it be flirting shamelessly with beautiful women, or trying to get on Kunikida’s nerves, or messing with naive little Atsushi, or irritating the living heck out of Chuuya.
But, emotions? In a previous post, I talked a bit about deciphering Dazai’s emotions, about how he shows real and true emotions only in certain very calculated and planned situations.
Even for a person who rarely shows true emotions, it is visible how his face changes when the Port Mafia is brought up. His voice, his eyes, the tightness in his jaws— everything changes.
Season 1 Episode 3, when Kunikida is describing the Port Mafia to Atsushi.
For me, this is a very important hint to decipher him, a tiny gap in space-time from where I can peek into his heart.
In Season 1 Episode 5, when he intervenes the sergeant’s nervous rant to say, “No, this wasn’t the Mafia’s doing”, he’s a changed man. He not only describes, but reminisces and relives the numerous times he’s seen the event he’s describing unfold.
He doesn’t meet anybody’s eyes, he’s staring into space. His voice is lower, a sharp contrast to the usual high pitched, lulting, lively voice. This isn’t the voice he uses to talk with his colleagues in the Detective Agency, with Atsushi.
In Dead Apple, while facing away from Atsushi, he says, “I might have stayed there, murdering people.” His head is angled towards the ground, voice low.
(what might he have been feeling then? that’s a topic for another day.)
In Season 2 Episode 9, while he’s talking directly with the Port Mafia boss, Mori-san, there’s is somethingly uncannily odd about his face— eyes open far too wide, smile far too forced.
I’ve searched long for the right word to describe this expression— it’s uncomfortable.
Haunted.
He’s uncomfortable, he’s uneasy, but he doesn’t know that, he can’t acknowledge that, he wouldn’t accept that, because how do you hide what you don’t know you’re feeling?

The problem here is, Dazai cannot see that he himself, was also a victim. He sees himself only as an abuser.
The fact that he’s also a victim, a young boy who watched his boss murder an old man, a young boy held at gunpoint so he couldn’t go to save his friend— he doesn’t understand his abuse. He doesn’t understand he was also wronged, he always sees himself as the wrong do-er.
Which is why he never let himself heal, because in order to do that, you have to notice your injuries first. Like he literally covered himself up in bandages, figuratively he did so too— made up a smile and built walls all around him, impenetrable, insurmountable.
In these specific moments though, his face betrays his mind.
His face makes it very apparent that he was affected, is still affected, regardless of whatever he tells himself.
It’s in these moments, that you see he has a living, beating heart, scarred and heavy and haunted with the trauma of his unspeakable past.
It’s in these moments that you see he’s human— still, despite, after all.
