Hokuto def found out very early on that dabi hates farting. Like, he’s grossed out easily. So hokuto musters up a fart every time dabi makes him mad.

Hokuto definitely squares up to dabi. He’s so annoying. You know when people fake lunge then go ‘what’ with their hands? Yeah, hokuto does that all the time.

Hokuto: *convinces his dads to let him have a shit ton of festival foods.*

Also Hokuto: *gets a bellyache*

Hokuto: it’s cuz you let me have so much good *blames parents.*

Dabi: *thinking Hokuto is a little shit.*

Dabi NEVER let hokuto win at anything. A race? Card games? Holding your breath? No, he was beating Hokuto in EVERYTHING. Even if he cried. He’s petty like that. Beating a kid at everything lol.

Hawks puffing up his feathers instinctively when Hokuto gets his newborn vaccines… he can’t stand hearing his baby cry.

Even in winter Hokuto loves cold drinks. He’s always extra warm from the constant use of his flames!

Baby hokuto in the nest of downy feathers Hawks made. He has these tiny claws on his fingers and toes meant for clawing out of the egg.

Hokuto’s First Egg

When hokuto laid his first egg, he fiercely guarded it. It was a pathetic, small egg… but his bird brain took over and told him it would hatch. When it didn’t, he was heartbroken. He was fairly young at the time, so he didn’t understand everything. Hawks suggested they bury the egg and say goodbye. Hokuto agreed, and they did a burial… It was pretty dramatic. Hokuto crouched by the buried egg and stared at it for quite a while. The entire time this happened, Dabi followed and silently watched. Hawks wouldn’t let him speak cuz he knew he’d say something insensitive.

As dabi watched hokuto stare at his buried egg, he thought, “is this equivalent to burying… nut…?”
