Hamilton Fashion AU

Liberty Fashion Co. has just successfully broken away from an iconic Britain-based global fashion company headed by the slightly insane royal CEO. Will Liberty Fashion, led by experienced and innovative designer George Washington, be able to rise in the fashion industry to be recognized as a leader of high fashion luxury brands? 

More importantly, will the company be able to stay together through the ups and downs of the fluctuating fashion industry and dramatic inner conflicts?

Alexander Hamilton- A brilliant young man from humble backgrounds, Hamilton has studied fashion design as well as journalism, which he is widely known for. His fiery critical analysis of different designers, models, and lines spark outrage and controversy, but that's because Hamilton is a diamond in the rough that needs a little polishing. He's recruited by Washington and quickly becomes his closest assistant and helps bring Liberty to speed with the latest trends. He's efficient, non-stop, and absolutely he best at what he does, which is helping run Liberty Fashion Co. and leading the fashion journalism force as a honorary writer for various papers- not bad for a poor kid from the Caribbean! He's also an outspoken defendant of rights for various minorities, which is expressed in the few pieces he designs for Liberty. Can be seen in cafes around NYC drinking bad coffee while typing like he's running out of time; the deadline for the Liberty press release is tomorrow. Has multiple affairs. Also, why won't John go grab a sandwich with him, ever? 

John Laurens- Laurens noticed his taste for art and design while drawing long-necked turtles. He since went into studying some design, but was quickly recruited as a model by a top modeling agency. He left behind his studies to pursue a glamorous life as a model, who knew his good looks would ever come in handy? He is soon chosen as he new face of Liberty Fashion. Everything seemed to be going great! He even befriends CEO Washington's favorite assistant! But... John doesn't tell anyone that he counts the calories in every bite of food, eating only protein bars and water. And that's on the good days. Every time he looks in the mirror, he swears he's putting in too much fat, that his body is not good enough. He exercises instead of eating and obsessively checks his weight. Beauty is pain, or so they say. Anyways, he can't let anyone find out what he does or so little he eats, especially not Alex, whom he will never be good enough for.

Marie-Joseph Paul Yves Roch Gilbert du Motier de La Fayette- Just call him Laf. Maybe a couple hundred years ago, he might have been a rich and pampered young French Marquis, but any notions of a title have been long forgotten by the modern world around him. It's okay though, because he soon makes his first million as a model. He joins the beautiful Laurens as THE models of Liberty. His charm as a model comes from his exquisite beauty and his radiant personality. Or at least, that's what his fashion design pioneer and hero George Washington has told him over a candle-lit dinner. But life wasn't always this glamorous. Lafayette still remembers, remembers his experiences with being sexually harassed during some of his very first photo shoots. Young models are vulnerable and often helpless. He's vowed to stop model endangerment in the fashion industry everywhere, and he's starting by campaigning for better legal protection for models with the help of his new friends, Hamilton, Laurens, and Mulligan. Also, where does Hamilton sneak off to in the night? Or who? Hercules Mulligan- The loud, brash Irishman is an expert in textiles and cloth, having studied extensively overseas. But we can't really call him an Irishman, he's really a loyal American who has a gift with the sewing needle. He oversees textiles in Liberty Fashion Co., and often works with the models on shoot to fit them in their clothes perfectly with little adjustments here and there. Together with Hamilton, Laurens, and Lafayette, the four create a tightly knit circle of friends that can always depend on each other. Or can they? Hamilton and Laurens both seem to be hiding something...

So, you know how Anthony Ramos plays both John Laurens and Philip Hamilton?

I just had a theory - Burr might be the narrator, but we were still looking at the world through Hamilton's eyes. And he was so devastated after Laurens's death, that he just saw him everywhere.

Including his son.

And when Philip died, he lost all sense of self-preservation. Both the love of his life, and his pride and joy, both so alike in looks and demeanour, gone. Why must he live, when his son and lover await him in heaven?

Oh, but the freedom he'd promised an entire country yearning for a breath of fresh air. The millions of other unknown Johns and Philips in the crowd, the millions of other unknown Elizas, they all depended on him.

He storms around, in a quite bad mood, and along comes...

Jefferson.

That ambitious bastard.

That moron, who'd much better suit presidency, than Alexander Hamilton, the loudmouth who won't shut the fuck up. It wasn't such a bad idea, was it? All he'd have to do is screw up. Or maybe he could change it all... with a duel.

Funny thought

Imagine Alexander Hamilton, John Laurens, Hercules Mulligan, Marquis de Lafayette, George Washington, and Aaron Burr (though Burr is always MUCH more mature than the others and Washington only does it with anyone he's closest to, Hamilton for example) writing to each other using modern slang and pretty much writing how modern teens text. Something like:

OMG, did u see how those Brits were totes crying like babies?
