I also think it should touch on their lives especially Adams considering HES THE FUCKING ANTICHRIST even if he did deny his βfatherβ we saw at the end that he got to keep his powers and i think we al know heβs going to abuse the shite out of them.I also think it would be really funny to see mariel meet satans son.
In all honesty i think they should have been apart of the storyline in season two or at least Adam should have been.
One thing I know for certain is that Iβd LOVE to see Adam and Anathema and Newt again in season 3. Like imagine them coming in to check on those silly celestial beings that helped them stop Armageddon only to see the dumpster fire their relationship has become?? Not to mention THE SECOND COMING??
GOOD OMENS 2 SPOILERS
yall istg I keep seeing stuff comparing good omens to like sherlock spn or merlin?? literally shut up mlm romance not working out IS NOT THE SAME AS IT NOT BEING CANON. if a het couple just got together everyone would say its boring. it would be boring for the plot if they just instantly were perfectly fit for an openly romantic relationship. I love all these shows people are comparing go to despite their queerbaiting, but good omens is not in the same category
I'm just going to pretend the last ten minutes of episode six didn't happen until the week before season 3 is released

same man, same
I went through every possible emotion in those last 20 minutes, plus some that I made up on the spot! how are y'all?
you are a genius, man
Crowley was originally the angel Kokabiel and here's why:
Just looking at this definition of Kokabiel, we know two things: 1.) that they were the angel in charge of the stars, and 2.) the ended up falling. This screams Crowley, as in the first episode of season two we are shown Crowley in his angel form literally creating the stars. He also has a map of the stars in his hand, including all the constellations.
When the galaxy comes alive, Crowley is ecstatic! But when Aziraphale asks if he had done it all himself, he says "Ah, well, I mean, more or less. I wasn't... I wasn't, um... I wasn't the original concept designer, but I worked very closely with the upstairs on it," The "upstairs" in question being God.
Continuing on this theory, Crowley then explains that what he's created is a "star factory" and then launches into teaching Aziraphale about the creation of stars and constellations--much like Kokabeil was known for.
Once Crowley is let on that the "upstairs" is going to shut everything down in about 6,000 years, Crowley is mostly upset that his stars would die. He doesn't know earth by it's name, as he would most likely never have concerned himself with anything other than stars, and when he's told that his stars are only there for humans to just look at, he gets upset and ultimately starts questioning God--a slippery slope after all, because how much trouble can you get in for asking a few questions?
Well, a lot, apparently. Crowley becomes a fallen angel, like Kokabiel, and as we see towards the finale, he still has enough power to open up Gabriel's classified documents--something only a very powerful angel could do. This would align with Crowley being Kokabiel, since Kokabiel was the angel behind creating the universe and all it's stary components.
Not to mention that Crowley has dropped hints about his true name throughout the show, constantly bringing up that they could runaway together to somewhere in the universe both heaven and hell can't find them, or to alpha centuari--a star system in the universe. This hints that Crowley knows places in the universe that others do not (since he created it), and his desire to run away into the stars is just setting up reveal it is because they are of his own creation as an angel.
thx now imma go cry again :DD
We could have been... us.
Good Omens (2019-2023)
ooh the shoulder touch
Okay so as I'm sitting down to take a crack at ciphering the angelic language on the show, I've come tot the conclusion that I have so many clues and other things I found, that it's time for me to start slowly dropping these out because boy oh boy have I been collecting clues and theories like a dragon hoards golds. I've also added another member to this blog who will be posting theories and clues as well.
That being said, welcome to the Sequence of Opening Credits Post Part 1, or the I sat down and played the opening credits at .25 speed and took screen grabs of everything weird I found. (Which, brief disclaimer, my eyes are not perfect and I'm bound to miss things, even my glasses don't 100% correct my vision. There's bound to be things I miss and if you happen to find them feel free to add in your finds!)
Today I'm starting off with Jim/Gabriel. Since it was said recently in a panel he's in every scene of the opening, and I knew that cause I've found him...at least I think I found all his appearances... I'm going to start this series of posts off by sharing them with you.
Right off the bat, we have him in the scene directly after Crowley lights a match in a cave.
He's there, nice and clear and noticeable. Keep that in mind because I think that's the most openly we see him in the opening credits.
The next scene after the goats his the graveyard scene. He's already a little trickier to find.
And for those who don't see him in that picture, here's a closer look.
Next seen they enter the mausoleum and you see Gabriel as they decline
(I'm realizing now that if I use too many images there might be a parts 1.1 lol) Any ways after hiding behind that tombstone shaped similarly to (but not quite) the one that says 'Here lies the former shell of Beelzebub) we see him (or at least me, I'll be honest I don't see him when they're walking over the lake of fire) Is in London??? Getting bombed.
Now is you don't see him here that's okay, I told you it gets harder.
He's standing here in this window, even more interesting to me, once the plane drops the bomb that explodes into rabbits...
He's hiding his head in the box lol.
Moving on, I ALMOST didn't see him in the next scene (walking through West End) because I shit you not, he's tucked away in a little nook.)
He is actually hidden (paint me like one of your French girls style) IN THE FRONT of the scene. Makes me wonder if that's where he might be when they cross the lake of fire.
Moving on. Next time we seem him is in space, while Crowley and Aziraphale are doing an interesting little 'swapping sides dance.' Our mans is clinging for dear life lol
In the next scene is where I get confused. Crowley and Aziraphale are sitting on the roof aaaaand...
Jimbriel is standing above 'Give Me Coffee or Give Me Death?' Why not about the bookshop??
In his next appearance....he actually has wings? Which is sus to me again but what isn't sus about this show lol. Jimbriel is in an elevator, riding down as the line of people making their slow death march pass.
Using all my will power to acknowledge the blatantly weird things in this screen grab alone, I move on.
In this one, I will momentarily ignore our boys kissing in the opera box and instead show you, Jimbriel. ALSO in an opera box.
Now I'm not sure Jim is in the direct next scene cause no one is, but there is a falling apart? statue of Gabriel in front of Mount Zion.
Aaaaand finally we have him walking along with everyone else, preparing to seal his fate. I won't do a close up of this one because he's right there.
And that concludes The Opening Credits Pt.1. I would say something more, make a little theory or something, but I don't think there's much to say on Jim giving someone (whose name currently escapes me) said in an interview Jim is in every scene. So anyways. Here's this for you to hold as reference, or just look at, or ignore cause I'm not sure myself how important it is. (Yay me for fitting this all in one post!)
Anyways I'm going to get started on cracking this Angelic language. Stay tuned for more Opening Credits posts because believe me. I have more.

Hey guys I made an FMV :)
Have you also been feeling down about the ending of Good Omens 2? Well look no further. This probably will still make you sad. Enjoy!
I gotta focus, I'm shifting into
Good Omens mode
Anyway my sister made this fmv and I may or may not have watched over her shoulder the entire time and I love it so much, go look at it!

Currently reading The Winter Soldier Cold Front. Bucky and Gimlet made reference to the Ritz and danced to A Nightingale Sang in Berkeley Square and I can't stop thinking about those tragic little gay men (not really) with their divorce with these references. I had physically get out out bed, walked a bit, and tab them. God, those two need to get back together and live happily ever after for mysake pls. Aziraphale can even do the damn 'I Was Wrong' dance.
Okay but like,
If there were 10 million demons ready for Armageddon in the first season, how is Hell severely understaffed by Season 2? I believe Neil stated somewhere that Ligur was probably the first demon in a long time to have been properly killed off completely (rather than just discorporated), and I'm certain Hell isn't very organized or motivational, but are they just...putting a ton of their people into punishments that occupy them or something? Where did the 10 million demons ready for Armageddon go in the couple years after the failed attempt? Or did Adam's meddling to avert it somehow disarm both sides in such a way?
Gabe and Beez both complained about the hassle it was to get their respective sides to stand down, but did that involve a lot of locking down and imprisoning/torturing some of them to make them unavailable? Did a bunch of demons just quit and leave? Are demons even allowed to quit (I'd assume not)? If so, are they being punished for wanting to quit or did they try leaving to the human world? Did they try fleeing to the stars in space?
It's hilarious that Shax is ready to bring out an entire army to get Gabriel in the bookshop and yet is challenged by the lack of just available staff, but also confusing to me, who thought Hell would certainly have those numbers - and otherwise I have no explanation as to why there wouldn't be many demons just available, even if not war-bound. I mean an excuse to leave their boring desk jobs and the shitty basement office for even a little while? Even if it was an underwhelming bookshop-raid, why wouldn't all the demons at least be curious?
I mean then again maybe both sides were lying about their numbers and all these questions are moot.
