"I am a computer Engineer and Mom for 3 children from Gaza , Rana Hassan Alabsi, with a strong ambition and perseverance. Over the past 10 years, I've worked tirelessly, I've dedicated myself to my family, working hard, planning, building my career. Despite facing challenges, I became a well-known professional engineer in Gaza.
Unfortunately, my life has been upside down since Oct ,Since that particular day, thousands of innocent lives have been lost in Gaza, many of innocent people lost their works and the only source of income like me.
Me and my childrens 1 of them, he is10 years old with downsyndrom and need a safer place and health care to still a live, left our home under the continuous bombardment and artillery strikes, on foot, without carrying with us our personal supplies, clothes, or Even our money, heading from Gaza to Deir al-Balah. There in Deir al-Balah we lived the most difficult days of our lives in a shelter with scarce resources, sleeping on the ground.
Without covers, without drinking a healthy water, then we moved to Khan Yunis after the intensification of the strikes and bombing, Then we moved to Rafah in the hope that we would find safety there or find a way out of Gaza to a safe place that we dream of for the future of our children,Let us live a happy, safe life for us and our children, and keep them away from all this pain, destruction, and siege, and spare them from the miserable future that will await them if the situation continues as it is in Gaza.
I come to you with a heavy heart and an urgent call for help. My family are currently caught in the war in Gaza, facing the harsh reality of an escalating crisis. The situation is dire, and I am reaching out for your support to facilitate their safe passage to Egypt. In this moment of desperation, I share the situation where it has taken a toll on their well-being.
This urgent plea is not only for their safety but also for the health of my son, who is facing serious conditions that demand immediate attention.
My family is trapped in an environment where access to necessary medical care is severely limited. The escalating crisis compounds the urgency, especially considering my son's health conditions. Time is of the essence, and we are in a race against it to get him the vital medication and care he desperately needs.
My loved childrens are in a situation beyond their control. The fear in their eyes and the desperation in their hearts are indescribable. I implore you to be a beacon of hope for them, to be the force that guides them to safety. To be honest, the journey to safety comes with a significant financial burden.
We need the money to cover practical costs of transportation, documentation, a place to stay and shelter in and other essentials required for a safe crossing to Egypt. And so that they can take care of other needs once they cross safely. As of late April the evacuation fee ranges between $8,000 and $10,000 per person, before processing and transport fees, and we will pay the higher end of the range since Hayde doesn't have passport. Me and my family asking for 50,000$ based on the following breakdown: an evacuation fee at the Egyptian border of $8,000 - $10,000 per person , $4500 - $5000 per children as each day there is a different price for evacuation fee at the Egyptian border, plus a processing fee of $2,000 per person, $2,000 for transportation, and a 2.9% commission fee.
Any amount raised beyond the total will be used to supplement me & my family lives as refugees in Egypt. Your donation, no matter how small, will make an impact. You will be contributing to getting my family to safety. The funds will be used transparently and every dollar will go towards securing our evacuation.

I'm writing on behalf of Intisar Abushammaleh, a Gazan mother of seven.
Since Oct. 7th their life has been nothing but hardship and tragedies. Their home was destroyed and they were forced to evacuate, leaving everything they own behind.
Throughout the war, Intisar's daughter Bashaer lost her husband, and gave birth to a daughter who will never meet her father. Intisar and her family are not only struggling to find food and basic necessities for themselves, but are struggling as well to provide the necessary care a newly born infant needs.
They are raising funds to evacuate to Egypt. They require $40,000. The donations will go to securing travel for Intisar and her children as well as help pay for their daily necessities once they evacuate. They've raised only $4,380.

Shahed is a 20 year old college student who used to study at Al-Azhar University and lived a happy life with her family in Southern Gaza.
But since the genocide began last October, their family have had to see and experience so much loss and destruction. They lost the family home their father had built, her education, as well a dearly beloved friend and their entire family to the bombing of the zionist occupation forces.
Shahed now fears that she might lose the rest of the family the same way too.
In her own words:
"My father is a heart patient and needs to leave Gaza City very quickly in order for treatment to take place. My sisters, desperately young and old, suffer from hepatitis.
We are in this time living a primitive life. We live in a small tent that can barely accommodate a family of 15 people.
There is not enough food and there is no clean water. It is all polluted. We live in the middle of bombs in the middle of destruction. Everything has been destroyed from the house of my father’s work and toil for years.
Imagine, my little sisters, they see death. Their psychological state has become very difficult. I don't know how I can review any example before the war, because they are children and now war is all they know.
We must help them so that their condition does not get worse, because they are children who tremble and tremble all the time. They see murder at this young age.
Can you imagine children who should be out playing, but instead struggle for basic shelter and safety?"
Currently the health of Shahed's sisters and her parents are rapidly deteriorating due to the lack of medical resources in Gaza at the moment. She has informed me that her sisters are currently staying at a hospital. I cannot stress enough how dire their situation is.

Do not really know what to say. A year ago we were making posts about how Gaza was being bombed through Christmas- how the oldest Christian community was being bombed- how the birth place of Jesus was being destroyed and his people murdered. A year later, it is going to be Christmas again soon, and the bombings have not stopped. But the news, and the attention seems to have died down considerably. It feels terrible and scary.

Genocide flattens every discussion. There are no new conversations to be had about the destruction, death and cruelty. After more than a year, there is nothing left to be said about various media houses, corporations and international bodies of law aiding and abetting all that has been happening in Gaza, either. It is the banality of evil, it is colonialism. However even in this atrociously banal circumstance, I do think what still is a continued point of hope for Gazans and what still pushes so many of them to reach out to the world, is the support people around the globe have shown and still continue to show. Fahed is currently supporting 13 family members in total- his own family and that of his sister’s.
He has to look after 8 children now, with the youngest being his son Yayha who is barely having anything to eat because the price of baby milk is exorbitantly high in Gaza.
The genocide has taken a toll on Fahed’s daughters. Sahar and Dana spent a whole year under the threat of bombs and right now instead of getting to be teenagers, they ask their father if they will survive. They have even said they don't want to live if they lose someone.
The family right now immediately needs clothes to keep them warm throughout winter. Fahed’s family is from the north and has been displaced several times before they came south. Displacement is dangerous and a silent killer because often essential items are lost and cannot be replaced in time.
Please consider that the weather has already turned colder around the world and that which is only mildly uncomfortable to us, presents a dire situation for Gazans. The families don't have a shelter and there is no way for tents to adequately protect from cold winds and rain. So right now the immediate need is for warm clothes and it can cost upto $400 per person. I cry for my little daughter, who is two years old, when she asks for milk, which we don't have, and her frail body survives only on flour and stale bread. She has been deprived of everything. My children long for vegetables, meat, and fruit, which we haven't had in 11 months since the war began. Our bodies have been worn down, our bones are brittle, and my son Mohamed's chest bones are now protruding along with his spine. His body is covered in scabies due to a lack of cleanliness and the absence of medicine. Our bodies are swollen from the intense heat as we live with 40 people crammed into a small classroom filled with displaced people.
My children have been deprived of education, even though they are all excellent students
. On top of everything, there's constant bombing, fear, and hunger every day 🥺. This is why I am reaching out, as I have no income to provide for their basic needs as we try to rebuild our lives

prices for the simplest items in North Gaza can fluctuate wildly, if they are available at all.
my friend Firas @firasmuhaisenn and his sister Nisreen are two first-year medical students who went to study in Egypt before the genocide started. their family is stuck in North Gaza and lost their source of income. i have posted about them extensively here Firas and Nisreen must not only pay for rent, food and necessities for themselves in Egypt, but they also have to make sure their family survives and has enough to eat.

🕯️ From under the rubble of Gaza… A message from a university student fighting for survival 🕯️
"We no longer dream… We just want to live another day without bombing, without hunger, without fear."
I am a university student from Gaza. A young man who used to carry his university bag, and today he bears the burden of survival in a city that knows nothing but pain.
My home was destroyed. My land was seized by the occupation. My family lost everything.
Even water, bread, and medicine… became unattainable dreams.
We live days that don't resemble life… There's no enough food, no electricity, no clean water, not even safety. We spend the nights surrounded by the bombardment's lights, and the day searching for a morsel of food to satisfy our hunger or medicine to save a sick person.
Despite all this, I'm still trying to complete my studies. I still believe that knowledge has a louder voice than bombs, and that the pen is mightier than a bullet. But I can't afford university fees, and I don't have money for books or even internet access.
That's why I'm writing to you… Perhaps this appeal will reach the heart of a person who knows the meaning of mercy and feels the weight of the pain we carry.
