I need Stone to compartmentalize his grief so hard he forgets the most fundamental parts of his identity. I want him utterly emotionless catastrophic threat level. I want him to take over the world while losing himself. I want him to wear the motifs of Robotnik while destroying a badnik because it got damaged so it was useless.
