• Varian has abandonment issues HAHA

• The gang sometimes low-key forgets that they're all only-children, like, they all adopted each other and forget they're not each other's real siblings LMAO

Rapunzel: What-... but I'm not an only child tho :/ ....OH YEAH WAIT-

• For someone so small, Varian is able to buy a whole cake and eat it all by himself in one sitting

• Varian is very twitchy is the kind of a person that can't stand/sit still and has to at least bounce his leg or something or do something with his hands

• Arianna teaches Rapunzel french

• Maybe Raps even tries to flirt with Eugene in french GKGJFVJ

• Rapunzel: Tu est très béant :)♥️

Eugene, who knows french: ...What-

• She meant to say tu est très beau/You are very handsome and instead she said "you are very gaping" but she's trying her best okay :(

• Eugene hides his trauma and pain with humor (that's basically canon tho)

• Like, he claims that he doesn't want people to see him cry because he's an ugly crier but that's just a funny way hiding the fact that he doesn't wanna cry in front of people because he thinks it makes him weak :( I guess growing up on the streets just makes you have this mindset

• Lance loves braiding Catalina's hair (cuz he's bald HAHA)

• Rapunzel loves braiding her own hair too, but after she looses her hair, she can't braid it much, so she braids everybody else's that's longer than hers!

• So now everybody in the castle has little braids in their hair <3

• Rapunzel has a special pair of shoes that she wears specially for Varian's lab (cuz of broken glass ect.) so every time she's walking in the castle wearing them, everyone knows where she's going

• Cassandra sends everybody letters after she leaves Corona and they're usually accompanied by some cool thing she found on the road (usually some kind of a weapon tho lmao)

• Like for example a baseball bat with hammered nails in it that she sent to Rapunzel!

• Aka "ur gonna need better weapons that kitchen utensils to defend urself raps"

How did I go so long without drawing them their designs are stunning😩

I THINK I'M FUNNY

(I made simple drawings of my comfort characters to try finding/refining my drawing style so I’m posting them as a series! Comfort characters part 1.) Rapunzel my darling girl, whom I love with all my heart and adopt as my niece.

I think Rapunzel will deep down always be my favourite Disney princess no matter what. I saw this movie in the cinema when it first came out when I was a small girl and was utterly obsessed. I remember I saw the movie in 3D and wanted to try grabbing one of the lanterns but knew I couldn't. I also drew a little picture book of a bunch of scenes from the movie and would tie scarfs to my hair and then stand by my window with the scarfs hanging out. I wanted TO BE Rapunzel so bad. Tangled will probably always be my favourite movie because all the memories it brings back. I've probably seen it 40 times but it never gets old. I know this movie word for word honestly. If anybody wants to start a chain in the comment section that's just the whole movie script that would be great.

Some sketches of Rapunzel, Eugene/Flynn and Pascal. 🫶 This movie is my childhood and actually one of the only Disney Princesses movies I got really into. (Others are probably Brave, Frozen and Princess and the Frog)

I absolutely adore Rapunzel’s short brown hair but I think long golden hair makes her way more recognizable. So for the sake of my drawings, I came up with a head canon that her hair eventually will grow back golden but this wasn’t discovered in the movie because Mother Gothel would repeatedly cut the small brown piece of hair behind Rapunzel’s ear so she didn’t have to look at it and be reminded that she kidnapped this poor girl.

Also ironically I really struggled to get Eugene’s nose right (iykyk)

WHAT IF...

So, I saw this one post about how Hans looks a hella lot more like Rapunzel and Eugene than any other character. There was a theory that Hans could be Rapunzel and Eugene's kid, but then that theory obviously got blown out of the water due to that one coronation scene where Rapunzel herself attends the coronation.

BUT

What if...

Hans WAS Rapunzel and Eugene's kid? What if, in the future, when Anna gets married and has children, her child attacks Corona, Rapunzel's kingdom? We've all seen classic examples of kids not taking after their parents, and this could very well be a good example. What if her kid killed the royal family - Rapunzel, Eugene, their other kids (Hans' brothers), and only Hans managed to escape? What if he went to the one tower where his mother had told him that she had been imprisoned? What if the horse who helped him escape despite being stabbed in the side, took him to the same place where it had taken Eugene all those years ago? What if Maximus, while helping Hans escape with his dying breaths, took him to Rapunzel's tower? What if Hans buried the horse after its death and climbed into the tower?

We've all seen that scene where Rapunzel reads the same 3 books again and again. But there's more books on the shelves. What if those were the books that Mother Gothel used to learn witchcraft? What if HANS learns witchcraft? He's in the tower, miserable, defeated, but he knows this place holds some strange importance. He goes into rooms, and finds the books. Wanting to distract himself from his present helpless situation, he reads, reads, reads, and learns witchcraft? What if he finally realises that the key to saving his kingdom need not lie in meaningless battle, but in going back in time and stopping it from ever happening? What if he learns magic and sorcery, so that he can go back in time? He knows he can't kill Anna, that would be ruthless (im imagining him as a good person here). So he decides to woo Anna instead into marrying him.

So that the child of Anna that destroys his kingdom never existed.

Hans obviously has good genes that make him look young, since he's Rapunzel's child. He could easily pass off as a much younger man than he looks. He plans to use his witchcraft to travel back in time to Elsa's coronation, and marry innocent Anna himself. It might cost him a lot, but his family and kingdom would be saved.

By the end of Frozen, he realises that Anna and Elsa are going to die.

And he realises that that could be the key to saving Corona.

Because while using so much magic, his sanity has snapped. Everything has a price, and the price of him learning magic was his humane conscience.

Which is why, by the end of the movie, he's ready to let Anna and Elsa die, so that their ancestors are never born.

A Birthday Fit for a Thief

Pairing: Flynn Rider x Reader Genre: Fluff, Romance Summary: Flynn surprises you with an unexpected birthday adventure—though things don’t go exactly as planned.

You weren’t expecting much for your birthday. Living in Corona had its perks—stunning views, lively markets, and, of course, the occasional festival—but you never made a big deal about your own special day. That was, until Flynn Rider got involved.

"You didn’t think I'd let your birthday pass without a little excitement, did you?" Flynn grinned, leaning casually against your doorway, arms crossed over his chest. His signature smirk was firmly in place, but there was a mischievous glint in his eyes that immediately put you on high alert.

"Flynn," you sighed, raising a suspicious brow. "What did you do?"

"Do? Me?" He feigned offense, pressing a hand dramatically to his chest. "I am a completely innocent, upstanding citizen now, remember?"

You gave him a look.

"Okay, okay," he laughed, pushing off the doorway and taking your hand. "Just trust me. I’ve got something amazing planned."

You let him lead you through the winding streets of Corona, dodging bustling merchants and cheerful townsfolk. Eventually, you reached the docks, where a small boat was tied up, a picnic basket sitting neatly inside.

"A boat ride?" You tilted your head, pleasantly surprised.

"Not just any boat ride," Flynn said, helping you in with a dramatic bow. "A birthday adventure."

With a few skilled movements, he pushed the boat off from the dock and guided it down the river. The sun was beginning to set, casting golden hues across the water. The moment felt peaceful, almost dreamlike.

"You really didn’t have to do all this," you murmured, watching as he pulled out a bottle of sparkling cider and two glasses.

Flynn shrugged. "I wanted to. You deserve something special."

Your heart warmed at his words, but before you could respond, the boat jolted—suddenly and violently. Flynn nearly dropped the glasses as water splashed over the side.

"Uh-oh." His eyes widened as he looked over the edge.

"Flynn, what was that?" you asked, gripping the sides of the boat.

"Funny story," he started, rubbing the back of his neck. "I may or may not have borrowed—fine, fine, stolen—this boat from some less-than-friendly traders, and they may or may not have caught on."

"Flynn!" you groaned.

"Okay, but in my defense, it was just sitting there!"

Before you could argue further, voices shouted from the riverbank. A group of burly men stood there, shaking their fists.

"There he is! Get 'im!"

Flynn flashed you a sheepish grin. "So, how do you feel about swimming on your birthday?"

With a resigned sigh, you kicked off your shoes. "I knew I should’ve stayed in bed."

Hand in hand, you and Flynn leapt overboard, laughing as the cool water enveloped you. The traders' shouts faded as you swam toward the opposite shore, drenched but exhilarated.

When you finally made it to land, Flynn collapsed onto the grass, grinning up at the sky. "Well, that was fun."

"You are the worst birthday planner," you huffed, wringing water from your clothes.

"Maybe," he admitted, rolling onto his side to face you. "But, hey, you have to admit—it was memorable."

You couldn't help but laugh. "Yeah, yeah. I guess it was."

Flynn reached into his soaked vest and, to your surprise, pulled out a small but soaked, velvet-wrapped bundle. "Still managed to save this, though."

Curious, you took it from him, unwrapping the fabric to reveal a delicate, golden charm bracelet. Tiny engravings of lanterns, suns, and stars dangled from it, glimmering in the dimming light.

Your breath caught. "Flynn…"

"Happy birthday, (Y/N)," he said softly, brushing a wet strand of hair from your face. "Even if it wasn’t perfect, I hope it was at least… special."

You smiled, slipping the bracelet onto your wrist before leaning in and pressing a quick kiss to his cheek. "It was perfect. You’re perfect."

Flynn smirked, clearly pleased with himself. "I do try."

With an exasperated laugh, you flopped back onto the grass beside him, staring up at the night sky. Maybe it hadn’t been the peaceful birthday you imagined, but with Flynn by your side, it was definitely one you’d never forget.

And honestly? You wouldn’t have it any other way.

Author's note: So, plot twist, this is a gift for my friend. you know who you are. Did I tell her I was doing this? Nope. Happy Birthday to her.
