Casual Janus getting caught off guard by a scheming Remus

I still find it funny how in order to gain the title of a Duke in the royal family, you have to be married (there’s more to it I believe than just marriage but it’s one of the key factors. I honestly do not know, it’s like 4am in the uk and I can’t be bothered to fact check right now, I’m just going off of memory. So I’m sorry if I get anything wrong, I will fact check in the morning xD)

Anyways, Duke is a title often given to people of royalty, nobility or to someone who rules over a duchy (land, country, territory etc) and they are normally married.

Remus is, as we all know, known as “The Duke” (and do you see where my ass is going with this-).

He and Janus are absolutely married and the land Remus rules over is his side of the Imagination, change my mind XD

I know in canon that’s not the case, it’s an opposites type thing and to hit home the whole “Prince = Good and Duke = Bad” idea, especially because it’s prominent in a lot of media.

But I like the headcanon for my own lil canon….version…thing of Sanders Sides, and it’s just a funny idea in general I’d say.

I’ve been wanting to open an ask blog, I know this account isn’t very popular and that’s fine, but I thought it would be fun for the people who do look at my stuff ask me things.

Personal things or anything Sanders Sides related, I really do not mind.

Though I do not know how to open one rn so I’ll look more into it and sort it out for another time, plus I’m really tired and I cba to go through the hassle (if there is one.)

I honestly don’t know why I like them so much XD

I think because of how little we’ve seen them together (for now anyways, that’ll probably change as the series goes on) it leaves you a bit of creative freedom to come up with something for them, like how they grew up together, how they used to be, what they’ve been through together etc etc.

I think also just seeing what other fanders have made for headcanons and things, I remember seeing a post a little while ago saying how Janus and Remus are basically Morticia and Gomez and I’ve been obsessed with the idea since XD

Also the idea of them just being chaotic together, whether as friends or otherwise, is just so neat to me. Like they’ve just got no fucks left to give so they do what they want and they don’t care.

They’re the type of pairing that can be anything and everything, they’re best friends, they’re lovers, they’re soulmates, they’re married, they’re roommates and whatever else, and it would always stay consistent. They’re still chaotic and they care about each other, in whatever way you want to interpret the ship as, and I think that’s special in of itself.

I just think they’re neat and I want to see them interact more, I know the romantic ships will never be canon and I don’t expect them to be, but Janus and Remus being chaotic best buds would be pretty cool to see on screen 😂😌

Dancing in the middle of the woods

This is just some sympathetic Janus and Remus dancing around in the woods.

Demus/Dukeceit.

In the Imagination two figures sat in the middle of a dark forest with a gap of sunlight shining onto them. It was beautiful. Flowers covered the ground with different and vibrant colours, butterflies fluttered around, the trees were tall but the leaves shined from the past rain. It was mesmerising.

Janus sat reading a book leaning against the tree and Remus sat on his stomach scribbling random thoughts into his book.

This was a rare time for the both of them, peace and quiet with the birds chipping and the wind whistling.

Remus looked up at Janus who was humming to himself with a rare and genuine smile on his face. Remus giggled.

"What?" Janus said, keeping his smile on his face.

"It's cute when you are humming to yourself" Remus winked. Janus blushed a little and Remus laughed.

"Only us from Dear Evan Hansen, nice choice" Remus said.

"Yeah, it's our song" Janus mumbles.

Remus jumps to his feet and snaps his fingers. A radio appeared and started to play Only us. Remus ran over to Janus and held his hand out.

"Wha?" Janus blinked, starring at the hand

"Come and dance with me! The last time we did it was when we were young!" Remus smiled, keeping this hand out.

Janus remembered the last time we danced around. That was when Virgil hadn't left yet.

Janus smiled, "Alright then" and grabbed Remus's hand.

Remus pulled Janus into the middle of the area, they started spinning around, and laughing like children. Next minute they knew they were falling to the ground from how dizzy they were, but kept smiles on their faces.

Remus looked over at Janus who was laughing. His scales sparkled gold. He was beautiful. Remus crawled over to the snake and planted a soft but quick kiss to his lips.

Janus stared at Remus, then giggled and pulled him in for another kiss.

"That was disgusting Remus!" Janus lied.

Remus laughed and put Janus's head onto his lap and stroke through his hair.

"I love you, Jan Jan" Remus said, starring at Janus.

"I love you too..."

Rare times for these two, no panic, disgusting comments or tears. Just calm and happiness...

- Janus summoned a third arm

- Janus is using said third arm to hold Remus’ (bloody) hand

- Remus braided Janus’ hair!! (That’s why it’s messy)

- Remus almost jumped out of the car to grab ‘Stefan’

- Stefan is a horribly mangled up squirrel (roadkill)

- Janus also might have purposefully ran it over so Remus would have a toy and stop swatting at the steering wheel

- Janus wears a seatbelt. Remus does not

- Janus is a safe driver, look at him, he’s looking at his boyfriend/husband/creature through the mirror instead of fully turning :)) (would absolutely be speeding quicker than Flash himself)

- Janus has blood on him because he couldn’t resist helping Remus (though those are his only pair of gloves…)

- Remus has canonically worn those shorts (at least in Thomas’ photoshoots)
