I think your theory might be canon considering that rimu doodled a couple of characters with phobias and rimu doubted posting them as they would be "spoilery" (btw, this one along the others got sent in discord, 2021)

there's another thing about chiemi, which I don't know if others noticed but...... I think Chiemi has Autophobia (fear of being alone or fear of being abandoned)! the reason: simple, the reaction she had when Akira and Tomoya said they were going to leave where they were to look for more clues, the dread on her face was as clear as a sunny day!
