I think Juno's another support I want to start practicing, I tried practicing her and she was super fun! I really love her right click move although I have a habit of spamming it everytime it's not on cool down, I think you need to space her moves a lot to get the most out of her (Although thats a problem I have with almost all other characters, using my abilities all at the same time usually out of panic). I always wanted to play a flying character but I just couldn't click with them, but Juno definitely does. Her ult was a bit confusing, but it's really good for pushes

Zenyatta+Juno combo is also insane, giving the Zen more speed with hyper ring and having two HUGE aoe healing ultimates is insane and I think as a Zen main I would love playing with her on my teams

Also also, her voicelines about being scared and anxious like YES, I too forget to breathe cause I get too scared of things fucking anxiety (self deprication)

I got a surprise Sym potg for the first time? I played like a monster in this game holy shit

I want to save the replay code for myself because I did so good in this game, but if anyone wants to watch it (And I hope you do because I'm really proud of myself) its WPJF9V (20 kills and almost no deaths holy shit)

I have a really good Baptiste and I didn’t realize it until now. I think it took me a while to use his jump cause I kept missclicking (So many times where I used his heal burst when I wanted to crouch jump, and then vise versa) but he’s actually really fun once you get the hang of him.

Also he’s so fun, Its so fun setting down an immortality field at the perfect time and getting 3 assists/saves at once. His heal is useful because I don’t have to aim with it and I could just shoot in the direction if my teammates to heal them lol

He’s such a dork too! I love hearing his silly voice lines and interactions with the other characters, I think I’ll practice him more and maybe even buy the Tropical skin for him (its my fave especially with the coconut gun)

Gotta love trying compeititve for the first time and getting glitched and kicked out the game but then the glitching’s still horrible even when you try and rejoin that you don’t want to stay in the game then people yell at you saying you were throwing

(​the first two games were actually really good I won them really easily and people were nice to me but holy shit I felt horrible that third game, and then quick play I lost like 7 games in a row FUCKING HELL)

Ive been picking up Illari alongside Zen for support and Ive been doing really good with her? Her Pylon+Beam healing is just really good and sometimes I get like a really good kill with her while shooting people on a whim? Also it helps that she actually has good movement and that makes her pretty useful compared to Zen in certain situations. And I even got a potg with her!

shoutout to the sombra who pinged me that their ultimates were ready and waited for me so that we can combo our ults together

Mei highlight the other day where an Orisa comboed their ult into mine, they ended up getting the potg at the end of the match and it looks a lot more hype from their pov because they were able to get the max charge

I think reworked Roadhog is super fun! I never played Roadhog before rework so idk how I can compare him to the original but OMG Pig Pen is SUCH a fun ability to use. Ive been getting some really fun kills with it like placing it down then hooking people into the pen and watch them take a shit ton of damage. FINALLY I can finally counter those pesky Soldiers and Genjis

I think the meter for Take A Breather works a lot better too because it just feels more smooth and useful in dangerous situations. I’m actually looking forward to play him a lot more, but compared to Sombra I dont see a lot of them? Maybe its because she got reworked at the start of the season but Sombra was EVERYWHERE both in my teams and the others and even now. I dont see a lot of people using him so I guess people disagree? But I really like him and I think I want to keep playing him now.

Surprise Zen POTG from a couple days ago??

I actually got backfilled into this game and my team was losing 0-1, after I joined we managed to turn the game into a 2-2 but lost the last point

That also means I got a potg for 4/5 favorite characters! I’m surprised I havent gotten a potg for Sym when Ive gotten like triple kills from her turrets before

I tried playing the Concert Clash gamemode but I keep getting into backfills where the team I happen to get into are just dying horrendously, like I got backfilled into game, left because the team was dying constantly (like the loser i am lol), tried logging into one again then BACKFILLED INTO THE SAME GAME I JUST LEFT IN, idk if this is because not a lot of people are playing it but god, also I dont know how to play the gamemode or any of the characters they give you (though I want to learn how to play kiriko) My teammates just suck also while theirs somehow manage to actually work together, honestly i might not get that Junkrat skin but I could get that victory pose just by completing games and i could still use it as an incentive to start playing Junk lol

I gotta say tho, that little intro section when you first load into a game is so cute, its like those intros in Kpop music shows where it shows the members when they have a comeback for the first time

Bought this skin shortly after a teammate sombra flamed me for accidentally walling them and making them die (I apologize to that Sombra, still newb mistake I’m making with her) I love the gun for this and how pink it looks! One of my favorite skins ever, I might change my blog layout to match it sometime

Also Blizzard make it so that Snowball is put as its own weapon in the hero gallery? Ashe’s Dynamite and Junkrat’s Rip-Tire get the treatment but not Snowball? Even when it still changes for each skin?

ykw i take back everything negative i said about Mauga, hes a lot more fun now that i actually know what im doing with him lol

I practiced his charge and trying not to crash into walls and definitely took advantage of the fact that you’re completely immune to everything when you use it

Along with his guns, the ult is the best part of his kit imo. Trapping enemies (Like you see here) and letting you and your team shoot them down is just, so fun and ive gotten so many good kills with it. Also I didnt know you get infinite ammo for his ult until i watched this highlight

Once again my golden rule for playing tank continues, which is that, as the tank your job should not be to fight the enemy tank. And hes so good at picking off squishys.

I tried playing Mauga and my first try review of him is that I LOVE the way he shoots. The double gun idea is super fun, and I love the way he can set fire to people and do a lot of damage.

But the rest just kinda falls flat for me? Maybe its because I’m not used to it and I need to try it more but his charge is kinda awkward to control and I end up crashing walls like an idiot half of the time. (Though one time I actually killed someone with the crash) His heal move is pretty cool though but I keep forgetting you need actually damage people to heal with it so that ones on me lmao

I’m seriously not used to how slow his movement is either, that sounds super weird because I play Zenyatta but I’m just used to tanks like Ram or Dva just feel faster/have a easy movement ability

BUT THE ENEMY MAUGAS IVE RUN INTO ARE TERRIFYING? I was playing Ram and one literally chased me on Colosseo as I tried to find a health pack, they always charge at you from the most bs angles and his goddamn ult which trapped me so many times (However around 80% of those were also me accidentally walking into them cause I didnt notice cause I’m an idiot lol)

However I gotta say I LOVE his voicelines and personality, he sounds so cheerful and happy even tho he’s secretly a psychopath who loves killing everyone-And his beef with Baptiste?? God I cant wait to hear all the interactions he could have

Also as for Illari, I love her aesthetic and how she heals but I CANNOT PLAY HITSCAN FOR THE LIFE OF ME IM SO BAD WITH AIM GODDAMNIT

Finally back on this game after school was kicking me in the ass this week, but I also had fun on halloween this year! I dressed up as Strawberry Shortcake and I loved my costume alot, wbu?

Also DANG IT Symmetra and Zen got nerfed but I think I am getting used to the Discord orb change? I did good on a game even with the Zen change (But that was mostly because the Reaper on my team just carried the entire game and was super sweet to me)

Also, ALSO, I finally got Illari! I didnt have time to play her today but Im excited to play her next time I get on. Only completing the games and not winning them makes quite a difference considering how fast I got her.

Good news, I finally got Ramattra a couple days ago! (I just didnt want to say because I felt like I was spamming this acc)

Bad news is that for the first few games I played him I had jack shit what to do with him and I got wrecked lol

But I got some tips both from my friends and some youtube videos. The best tip I have learned as a Tank player is to NOT 1v1 THE OTHER TANK. They’ll just have backup support or DPS behind them, so cut them off. This goes for all tanks but ESPECIALLY Ramattra I realized.

The main tactic is to set up your barrier+chip away at the enemy with Omnic mode. The staff fire has a pretty wide spread so its pretty easy to get headshots with it and does a nice chunk of damage (Especially against squishy’s) Once they get low enough, trap them with vortex and punch them with Nemesis form. Like me playing Symmetra its like a 50/50 on whether it works or not but if it does its SO SATISFYING (Especially once you get ult)

Also I tried playing him in Open Queue so I can just mess around with his abilities and I got this INSANE game. We were playing Lijang Tower and by the final round, we were playing a Sigma and Wrecking Ball along with me as Ram. It was NUTS. Double barriers + a ball zipping around the point with a Soldier 76 for our only DPS. The only support was a Lucio that died a lot but he was trying his best lol We won that game and I got a lot of good Nemesis kills. A really fun and chaotic game for me.

And of course the voicelines and interactions are just, the absolute best. His voice actor absolutely kills it.

I’m going for Illari next because I already have 28/50 wins from the end of Season 6. But, it turns out I don’t even need to win them, and only complete the games, which is super easy for me. I tried Illari a bit when I player Trials of Sanctuary and I had so much fun with her! And as much as I love Zen, I want to get better on another Support chara (I have some hours on Bap and Moira but I dont really like their playstyle)

Tell me how I played Mei for the first time and got her Pixel and Cute spray in the SAME GAME on my FIRST TIME PLAYING HER without me realizing and then get a POTG team kill with her couple games later

And why am I having fun with her? Its so satisfying blocking Dva nukes with her wall or freezing people with her ult! Actually being able to damage people with your ult adds to her fun factor imo (Also I LOVE her Sprinkles skin and I was already thinking of playing her just so I can play with it, but I also like Star Sheep Orisa too)

On another note, I noticed playing Symmetra is like a 50/50 for me on whether I actually do good or not. But when I actually do good? Car-washing people with the turrets? It just feels so satisfying so I cant give her up

I love this skin for the ult voiceline and the moving orbs but I haven’t been able to win a game with it :/ Love this skin tho

And I got Mermaid Sym right after! I love mermaids so this is perfect. I love how sparkly it is and the skirt is my favorite because it just flows everywhere like an actual tail! (Also omg this skin looks so pretty with this map)

I really want to get Star Sheep Orisa but thats only in the shop

Also I’m now at 29/35 wins for Ramattra! Were almost there ladies and gentlemen! I think after Ramattra I’m going for Illari because I already have 26/50 wins from Season 6. I played her in Trials of Sanctuary once and she was super fun there! (And I want to play another support besides Zen tbh)

Ive been doing some bs things with Symmetra and I’m actually considering maining her! One time I played Rialto on attack and car-washed the Orisa by putting the turrets on the payload. I also used her ult to cut them from their dps/supports which is super fun, cause then it gives me and my teammates a chance to run them over. However sometimes it doesnt work and they literally destroy my turrets as I’m throwing them out lol I still don’t know how to use the teleporter either? All Ive been doing is teleport myself from spawn to objective quicker, and yeah thats what most people use it for but I also think I should do more with it? I guess I can make shortcuts to healthpacks or smth. (If anyone plays sym youre more then welcome to reblog tips!)

I also have been getting some really good kills with Zen if I don’t die immediately, I especially love pocketing Sombras (Of which there is a lot of in my games because she just got reworked) and watch them run the other team over. Discording tanks and volley killing them is so fun and I’ve been eating Dvas everywhere (Sorry dva mains)

And I also feel like switching tank main from Dva to Orisa. I know that she’s meta right now and thats why I started playing her, but I actually really like how she plays. One time I pushed a Zarya off a ledge with Javelin Spin and it was the best feeling ever. I want more of that thank you very much.

yall are gonna hate me for this but i joined an esports club at my school for the shits and giggles (slightly because of smash bros) and then unironically started playing overwatch because I wanted to join with friends

Your girl also got a potg with Orisa one game and got five kills with Zenyatta in another

Your girl wants to main dva but does way better with orisa and is still trying to get Ramattra (7/35 wins so far)

And I want to play Ashe but I keep getting scared out of her to play Symmetra instead
