The first romance book I read was that of Durjoyās āNow That Youāre Rich Letās Fall in Loveā. Since then Iāve fallen in love with his writings.
š¦Then I read this series! The first book left me with a broken heart . I felt every emotional stages while going through it. I loved that book so much that I had a hard time taking in it. Thatās why it got 5 šš¦
š¦But then I read the second book with my expectations up. But it failed me the start was smooth but then it lost its charm and plot was twisted that I couldnāt just accept it. Everyone who read the second part after the first have the same opinion. š¦
š¦I always thought if it hadnāt the second part itād have been better. I prefer tragic endings than terrible plot!!š¦
#Q: Whatās your weekend plans?
The Girl Of My Dreams 5šš Author: Durjoy Datta @durjoydatta
Daman always wakes up to this name, Shreyasi, which haunts him like a nightmare but he feels like itās another whole story of him. Daman had an accident in Goa. He lost his memory of that trip. But the name itās all he knows and when he remembers it he becomes like a mad man . He cannot remember further.
But Daman had started another life for him being an aspiring writer whom he always wanted to be. And he found his love, Avni, who supports him and love him more than anything even herself. But those nightmares keep coming back. Everytime a different angle. But the face is hazy.
He tried to regain the memory but not even his frnds knew what had happened. All his efforts to know the story behind the name gone futile untill one day!!
The twists are remarkable. The story keeps you in it like a black hole. Once you touch the book you canāt keep off it . I felt a flush of emotions while reading. And couldnāt help myself. The characters are not perfect, theyāre flawed and broken, showing how really life is. Iām in love with all the works of Durjoy Datta, amongst all this one and The Boy Who Loved are my favourites (Though, I didnāt like the 2nd part of the latter- The Boy With A Broken Heart).
