Taste is subjective but to call Bella Ramsey a bad casting decision is to

1- completely mischaracterize and/or misunderstand Ellie's personality, mannerisms and speech pattern because Bella Ramsey has had that shit down to an art form from day one. I don't know what you guys are thinking.

And 2- to admit to being fucking blind! No, they don't look like Ellie from the game (and if that's your only complaint then I hope you keep that energy for Joel, Sarah, Maria, Tommy and show exclusive characters since we're apparently all such fucking purists now) but do you know who Bella Ramsey DOES look like?! ASHLEY FUCKING JOHNSON! The voice actor and motion capture actress for in-game Ellie AND THE ACTRESS FOR ELLIE'S MOM IN THE TV SHOW!!!!!

Once again, taste = subjective. You are not obligated to LIKE Bella Ramsey (albeit they haven't exactly given anyone a reason not to.) But to deny that they are a BRILLIANT Ellie is to be a pedantic asshole pissy that they couldn't 3D print a fictional character into the real world and puppet them around on strings in accordance with your tastes alone. You know, like something animated or whatever.
