Arcane Headcanons: how they spend Valentine's Day with reader

➼ Here are some (very late, my bad) Valentine's Day headcanons for some Arcane characters! If there is a character that I didn't write for and you want them added on, just shoot me an ask and I'll work on it^^

➼ Characters included are: Viktor, Jayce, Mel, Vi, and Caitlyn

Honestly forgot about Valentine's Day with all of his work, spends all day in the lab and largely ignoring you. You'd be lucky to get a glance from him as he worked

Or so you think

After however many hours of work he calls you over to him, spinning around in his chair, proudly showing off what was in his hands. It's a small music box that when wound up played you guy's song. Inside are little memories of all your dates. Pictures, trinkets, anything he could fit in there

"Do you like it? I'm sorry it took that long, the gears weren't meshing together how I needed them to. Happy Valentine's Day, my love"\

He's a total romantic, convince me otherwise

Wakes you up with breakfast in bed (he got it from the breakfast restaurant down the street), gives you a handpicked bouquet (it's mostly weeds, but it's still pretty), and has a dinner booked for the two of you at the nicest restaurant in Piltover

You two finish out the night watching movies and cuddling on the couch, his arms always around you and a blanket covering you both

"Happy Valentine's Day, sunshine. You ready to head out? The reservation is at...god you're gorgeous"

It's a stay in kinda Valentine's Day with Mel. You both have a rare morning of sleeping as long as you want for the day, having to convince yourselves to even get up and get dressed

Once you two are finally up, Mel insists on painting you for the remainder of the afternoon. She poses you on the couch, looking as comfortable as ever, and takes her time painting every detail she can see. She adds herself right next to you of course, and you find a nice spot to hang it once she's done

The night ends with a good homecooked dinner and wine

"Keep still, darling. I'm nearly done here. Your perfection takes time to capture"

She's trying, okay? This is her first Valentine's Day she isn't alone and romance isn't exactly rampant in the Undercity. That doesn't stop her from giving it her all though

She takes you around to all the best spots in the Undercity. Breathtaking views, great street food, anywhere she thinks that you'll like. Vi tries to avoid the more sketchy areas with you to try and keep you out of trouble

The day ends with you two falling asleep in each other's arms while listening to your favorite songs

Though she is still extremely nervous and a bit awkward at first. She just wants to make sure everything goes smoothly. The day is planned to a T. A slow morning, having tea together, going out to rollerskate. Then heading home

Hi, hello, not dead just buried in schoolwork now that I'm in my final year (college applications, moving to a new house, driving lessons, 2 or 5 exams every week and can't forget that I got sick)..... So yeah not dead, but certainly looking like it.

Anyway Arcane season 2, I think ep 6 finally gave me depression and the show in general made me cry more than I did at my grandmas funeral. So I decided to share some of my head cannons that I had before season 2.

Silco braids Jinx's hair in styles his mother taught him, while singing, telling lessons, stories, poems, folklore, plans, day events or just complaints(post season two comment: can't believe I got so close with the hair thing, the braids were probably taught to him by Felicia, Jinx mother, but still I think Silcos mother taught him how to do hair)

‌Zaunish or old Zaun is russian

Old Zaun was a secret code that everyone in the mines knew so they could talk in peace, without a threat of getting beat up by supervisors, it eventually spread to their families so that they can protect themselves from enforcers, eventually everyone knew

‌Noxian is german

‌Piltovian is british english (english is a universal language, but some places made it their own eg. american, australian, british(the cockney accent is how Zaunites speak it))

‌Viktors name in old Zaun is Vitya

‌ Victor scares everyone when actually angry or in a sleep deprived mania

‌ Victor was a slut during his academy years, because everyone wanted some of that exotic Undercity twinks ass, so him saying "wait this isn't my bedroom" wouldn't have surprised anyone and could have worked as an excuse if Jayce hadn't opened his mouth

‌ Sevika had a sister that died in the bridge rebellion

‌Sevika and Silco are like siblings (Silco is most definitely the little spoiled brat sibling that can fuck you over if he convinces mom, in this case he is the little spoiled brat that can stab you and also has an army at his disposal)

‌ Sevika dislikes Jinx/Powder and Violet, because they (before the explosion) reminded her of herself with her big sister, it makes her uncomfortable how Jinx turned out and Vi "died"

‌Ekko still has a crush on Jinx/Powder (post season two comment: btw I meant he had a crush on her when she was Powder that stayed until canon s1, not the alternative universe Powder) even tough she changed (The bridge scene makes me cry) (post season two comment: we won but at what cost)

‌Ekko has hallucinations when he's inventing/building of Jinx that he talks to and interacts with( they build together and bounce ideas of eachother) (post season two comment: fucking hell how did I manage to hurt myself more)

Another arcane head-Cannon I haven't seen

(but probably exists somewhere)

Trans fem caitlyn need I say more.

So there isn't much to why I think this, besides the fact I think it would be interesting to her character. I think the idea of Cait being trans brings some interesting ideas about her life.

I also think it's weird that some people say you need a reason shown in said media to head-cannon something like Transness. This specific idea, in my experience, has only been used towards people headcannoning trans women. It's always used in a hateful way, trying to discredit a head-cannon. I like headcannoning transness as a trans person myself (Demiboy he/they). (Sorry for going on a rant about non arcane related things/getting a bit controversial there. is this controversial? Idk? I would hope not.)

In the end, I wanted to share my head-cannon of caitlyn being trans cause I don't see it much, but I want to.

Cait 100% is on the autism spectrum. I remember seeing someone mention it and thought “nah” then rewatched arcane and couldn’t unsee how she was written now

Yes.

I immediately saw it, probably due to the fact that when I watch TV I actively look for traits of autism and adhd in characters (I have both so representation even if not purposeful is important to me).

I'm not sure if it was intentional, but I could see it being on purpose. So many details in Arcane are on purpose. The amount of detail they put into everything is outstanding, so I don't think it's unrealistic that Cait being autistic is unintentional.

Claggor has never struck me as the kind of guy to have a big sweet tooth, as surprising as that is. I personally believe he leans more on the savory side of things, definitely not a picky eater in any world because he's just grateful he can even eat in the first place. He's also someone who prefers to stay safe and stick to the "classics" as a form of comfort for him by trying the same kinds of foods and never truly getting tired of them. Of course, as an adult, he has become more open to trying new things (Hexless AU! Claggor, at least), and he does like a different variety of foods such as spicy, sweet, or sour, but he can't find himself too crazy about any of them. Also, yeah, he's a huge guy, but he barely eats. He has a small appetite and a slow metabolism, so he usually prefers to share his food with others like his family :((( IF YOU GUYS HAVE DIFFERENT HEADCANONS PLEASEEE TELL ME I WANT TO KNOW EVERYTHING!!!

I think it's cute! I have a different headcanon for him BUUUT I ADORE when characters get headcanoned as trans or aroace since the rep is desperately needed, so it is very nice! Also, it's additionally great because a lot of canonically aroace characters in media tend to be almost.. dehumanized? Often depicted as emotionless and robotic, almost so having one of the kindest most loving people in arcane be headcnaoned as aroace is really sweet!! Here, a sticker to celebrate your headcanon!!

• ALTERNATE CLAGGORS?! (AUs and HCs! •

Decides to draw Hexless! AU Claggor and @peapeapeapa 's interpretation of their own Claggor survives AU but with some tweaks here and there because in my Survivor! Claggor AU somethings go a little bit differently. Make sure to go support them though, their art is amazing and not just the arcane art!!!

• Established botanist along with Mylo, however Claggor focuses on hosting occasional exhibitions and Mylo focuses on the more business/economic side of their research.

• Allows Powder and Ekko to engage in his and Mylo's projects, where they take care of the engineering and the other two focus on bioengineering of the hybrids.

• Business partners with Sky! Sky was interested in his and Mylo's work thanks to her similar ideals and is a close working partner with the two. Might even be possible that Viktor is also interested in their research due to Jayce's absence in the Hexless! AU.

• Obviously was the first one to really bring up the possibility of making Zaun a easier and better place to live in after it's merging with Piltover. Mylo was initially uninterested but gained interest thanks to his brother's passion and selflessness to help others (The brothers ever :( ).

• Survivor! AU Claggor! •

• Blind thanks to the hex crystal's impact collision injuring his occipital lobe. Still rather capable in combat thanks to his keen tactileness and sense of hearing.

• Left leg had to he amputated after being found by Ekko buried under rubble comatosed after the explosion. Was comatosed for 6 months and eventually found out thanks to Ekko that Vander, Vi, Powder and Mylo are dead (to his belief)

• Ekko's right hand man alongside Scar, stays behind on missions due to his blindness hindering him incapable of using the hoverboards. Was taught how to fix them by Ekko so he's now the firelight's engineer.

• Unaware of Powder's whereabouts and believes Jinx is a completely different person. He is... reluctantly accepting of Jinx's new identity, still choosing to support her thanks to always being his little sister at heart :(

• Mourning (Alt! Timeline) •

Haven't updated my blog in over a year, huh? Well, arcane season 2 emotionally destroyed me, and even though I have my fair share of issues, I can not stop thinking about episode seven and the alternative timeline. I am not much of a fan that Vi had to die in said AU to bring true unity between Zaun and Piltover (Heimerdinger helped in that too obviously!) due to the fact the writers themselves have said they grew... tired of Vi in season 2, which led to her being so shafted. I can't help but having that statement leave kind of a bad taste in my mouth but anyways, it is a sad reality but we all know Vi would be more than glad to sacrifice her own life if it meant her family and the people of Zaun could truly live as one. Anyways, sorry about my rambling everyone, here's some family comforting one another because I will now ramble about them in this AU!!!

• I think the general sentiment regarding the family is that Vi was the oldest, Claggor one year younger than Vi, Mylo was 2 years younger than Vi, and obviously Powder was the youngest. Which meant after Vi's death, Claggor would most likely be the next one in charge of being the oldest sibling figure and we know that was NOT fun for him at all.

• Claggor definitely felt immense pressure to be like Vi, as in a caretaker and a leader, but we know he's always preferred to be one to support those he loves quietly from the side. Him and Mylo were forced to mature to take care of Powder and Claggor absolutely was the.. better sibling of the two. Doesn't mean the guy didn't feel any less stress and fear that he could lose another one of his loved ones.

• Again, episode 7 kind of established Powder as the new caretaker since Vander said "what would they do without you" but frankly I think it was a few years after Vi's passing that she decided she wanted to help Claggor take care of things and get some weight off his back, allowing him to focus on his own passion project of cultivating the hybrids as he spoke of in the episode.

• Anyways guys I'm super ill about Claggor and the rest of the family if you guys have like any angsty headcanons make sure to let me know because honestly, the drought was so bad for 3 years, now that he's back I feel myself slowly getting consumed!!!

• Extra! (Oc x Canon) •

I find out if I need to get hip surgery soon so I’ll try to pop out as many requests as possible until I found out so, I might be slow with requests, but I’m just scared of the answer I might get.
