The animators and writers with Caitlyn

"Noooo! We can't show the people of Zaun suffering by a gas that will very clearly affect them since most of the population is homeless and most of them only have the chembarons or the shimmer as their work or medical care options! Let's just put a music video so everyone will ignore it!"

Them again with Viktor

"Yeah let's make this guy who only wanted to cure himself from a terminal illness that piltover gave him the villain, let's also make his community a cult and hive mind to really put on the screen that free healthcare is the literal devil"

tweet i found this from

"OH YOU HATE CAITLYN BUT YOU PROBABLY DON'T SAY ANYTHING ABOUT SILCO!"

LOUD WRONG BUZZER OVER AND OVER AGAIN

Not only do i despise Silco as an individual and how the fandom loves to ignore the fact that he groomed Jinx (in a non sexual way) and he is one of the main reasons why s1 Jinx was as bad as she was (no, letting the clearly self destructive person be self destructive is not giving them freedom and it is in fact more a way for an abuser to keep the abused in their control)

I despise the fact that the writers wanted to push the centrist bullshit of "Oh violence against your opressors is as bad as the violence your opressors execute over you" using HIM.

But guess what? Silco being an awful person and character does not erase Caitlyn. They're both shitty people and they're both awfully written only existing for the writers to push stuff like

-Abusing butch lesbians is okay!

-ACAB is wrong

-We shouldn't support revolution we should support a reform!

-Police brutality can be okay if it's a femenine woman doing it!

Amongst others.

Btw i will most likely make another post discussing Silco's abuse towards Jinx because everyone from a Jinx fan to a Kuklux kiraman stan loves to push this narrative of how silco was a "great father" and a "positive influence" bs, directly and inderectly pushing another narrative trying to make Jinx look like a spoiled brat who only did stuff because she was a "UNSTABLE MENTALLY ILL MONSTER WHO CANNOT LOVE AND ONLY ACTS FROM SADISM. AND SHE WAS THE ONE WHO CHOSE THAT LIFE NOBODY BUT HERSELF CAN BE BLAMED!" And that shit obviously doesn't sit right with me especially if it comes from the people that are now on twitter using raegan's "war against drugs!" As a way to defend their favorite cop.

And the crowd is...

Not surprised anymore.

First, it was defending police brutality. Then, it was defending martial law. And now it's circled round to defending the war on drugs. I told yall, that hot wasian cop has officially introduced a whole new generation of mfs to the alt right pipeline 😭

First, It Was Defending Police Brutality. Then, It Was Defending Martial Law. And Now It's Circled Round

( context : caitlyn and vi stans on twt basically reinvented the war on drugs argument to defending caitlyn gassing zaun )

A caitlyn stan just called me (a bisexual, bigender and ace person) a homophobic fuck just because i told her that being a lesbian doesn't make her literate (which is true because sexuality does not affect any of your intellectual abilities, it is the individual who has them)

Also, shouldn't she be more angry at how caitlyn is actually written? The writers literally wrote this femme lesbian to be abusive to her butch gf only for it not only to be forgiven by the narrative but actually glorified.

I don't know about you but i'd be pissed.

Kind of unpopular opinion, many might disagree but

I don't think people would like canon caitvi if it was a straight relationship.

"That's not true! Straight ships are still more loved than wlw ships!"

While yes that is true a lot of people nowadays (especially people that went through wattpad phases or people that had to deal with the insanity that some romance animes were, me one of those people) fixate a lot on how healthy canon relationships are.

And Caitvi...

Let me just change Caitlyn for an unnamed man so you can see my point.

-If a man who is also a cop hitted his girlfriend with a rifle in a very calculated way right in a spot where he knows it would hurt more, then just abandoned her crying of pain you would obviously call this abusive.

-If a man was esssentially a dictador who opresses the specific group of people his now ex is part of, even doing stuff like mass incarcerations that actually include children and the few leaders that this opressed group has, you would obviously not root for them to get back together.

-If this man used another girl just as a rebound even if for just a small amount of time you would obviously judge him.

-If this man and his ex found themselves in a jail cell (place that should be traumatic for his ex, mind you) and then he just started flirting and started to have sex with her AND THE ONLY THING HE APOLOGIZES FOR IS HAVING USED ANOTHER GIRL WHILE THEY WERENT TOGETHER, NOT THE PHYSICAL ABUSE, NOT THE POLICE BRUTALITY JUST THE FUCKING REBOUND anyone with common sense would obviously not be happy about this.

Of course i know there will be many saying "B-But you're taking out of context many of Caitlyn actions!" My answer will be NO.

In no context is acceptable to (in a very calculated way) hit your partner in a place where you know for a fact it will hurt more (because if you didn't know rifles actually hurt more than you actually think). In no context is acceptable to commit police brutality and put children in jail and in no context is sex a proper apology.

If Caitlyn's actions look even worse in raw words without cute animation or banger songs and replaced by a man, it's very obvious that Caitlyn is the actual problem.

Amen! 🙏

People who say "Caitlyn did the most for the underground by dismantling shimmer and fighting chembarons" makes me laugh so much for two reasons

1. The show establishes multiple times that children work for the chembarons, so they most definitely got caught in the grey. But the show also establishes, through characters like Heenot, that there aren't exactly a lot of job opportunities in Zaun that don't involve the chembarons as they've monopolised most of Zaun's industries. Its something that Caitlyn acknowledges herself when having her leg stitched up by her dad ("choosing between a kingpin and a gov that doesnt give a shit") So I don't see how gassing and then imprisoning these people for life is "helping". She also straight up cocks her gun at unarmed, sickly workers so, no, she really dngaf ab helping

2. I don't blame people for forgetting this one because the show forgets it too, but shimmer is the only form of medicine (as far as we know) that exists in Zaun. Other than Singed, the show doesn't portray the undercity as having any doctors. Every time a character in Zaun is hurt fatally, they use shimmer to heal them. Caitlyn herself knows this, as she gets shimmer for Vi in S1. Ironically, much like in real life, the criminalisation of shimmer would've most likely harmed the underground more than the drug trade itself. Especially after, oh, i don't know, GASSING A CITY WITH A GAS THAT HAS DISABALED PEOPLE PRIOR.

In conclusion, kukluxkirraman (not u switch!Caitie ily) isn't shit and jinx should've hit the towers again

Not Gonna Reblog Their Post *cough* Unlike This Fuckass *cough* Cause Whatever, Have Ur Opinion Ig But

Not gonna reblog their post *cough* unlike this fuckass *cough* cause whatever, have ur opinion ig but I hate Cait/CaitVi stans—honestly, I hate everyone who can't let others have opinions without personally attacking them for it—butttt

I hate CaitVi stans sm

"frothing at their mouth"

Honey (derogatory), it's a rant on the internet—do you expect me to be all nice and kind? No. Fuck you. I can be as feral as I'd like. This isn't English class, I don't have to proofread my work if I don't want to. Did you really see me talking about Steb in red panties and me eating out Vi and think my rant was gonna be some serious philosophical shit? No. It's just a rant. Plain and simple.

"over lesbians making love 'impurely'"

I hate CaitVi in general. Don't expect me to like any CaitVi scenes. If it was Vi and Gert fucking like rabbits in a prison cell, I would be all for it, but Vi getting it on with a cop in a prison cell? Being on her knees on a hard floor? Seeking out sex as a coping mechanism which I'm supposed to be. . . Okay with? I wouldn't hate the sex scene if it wasn't for the dynamics CaitVi have and the writers thinking lowly of Vi and Zaunites in general.

Fuck cops. Fuck copaganda. Like Caitlyn if you want, but you can like her while acknowledge the propaganda the show portrays and how insufferable the dynamics people think are cute are actually horrible.

Omg so cute Vi can't read so Caitlyn reads for her đŸ„°đŸ„° Omg Vi is Caitlyn's mutt haha Caitlyn is so sophisticated and smart and Vi is a dirty street rat who can barely read 😍😍 people are so stupid the council didn't deserve what happened to them because they were just now starting to get things done (and only to instantly switch and want to start a war because of what ONE Zaunite did) đŸ€ŹđŸ€Ź Caitlyn is a good person—everything she did was justified 100%!1!!1!1

I like Jayce, but I won't hate on those who don't like him because I understand he is far from perfect. There're so many things I see from various Arcane fans that tick me off because of how they treat characters that are minorities, but CaitVi's/Caitlyn's stans are the worst of them

I hate the CaitVi Sex scene

I Hate The CaitVi Sex Scene

Everytime I see someone thirsting after the scene and gushing about how it's so hot, I feel so disgusted and ticked cause of how the scene came about and where it's located.

Before we get onto my rant about the scene itself, I want to mention the CaitVi scene that happened before that.

"She saved your life!"

"If you will just calm down for on-"

If you will just calm down for once? Hypocrite. Caitlyn's allowed to be pissy, allowed to call Zaunites animals (oh, "except" Vi though) and then fight like an animal by biting Sevika—

Sidenote:

That's also another scene I don't find hot at all. Any time I see it, I can't focus on how attractive Sevika is when she's smug (even though she totes is). All I can focus on is how Caitlyn bit Sevika. I don't remember who pointed it out, if it was on Tumblr or TikTok which I have promptly deleted since the ban, but someone pointed out that Caitlyn is fighting dirty—like a Zaunite. Caitlyn was backed into a corner, so she fought like an animal.

Fuck her.

I guess now she can somewhat understand why Zaunites fight the way they do. When you're backed into a corner, feeling helpless, feeling desperate, you fight like it and she did the same exact same thing she judged them for.

Bastard.

Lol can you tell I'm feeling bitter over her character?

Back to OG rant

—biting Sevika, gas the undercity and harshly interrogate someone who was a victim of Jinx's shenanigans, hit Vi for trying to calm her down from her grief driven rage, but oh, no Vi must calm down even though she's barely angry compared to when Caitlyn's angry. Not to mention that Caitlyn throws a tantrum herself and throws the tiny figure in her hand to the ground.

"—since you don't trust her enough not to shove her in a box."

Can we please take note of the tremble in Vi's voice when she says that? 'Oh, Jinx brought back her trauma from being in Stillwater!1!2!1' First of all, shut up. Second of all, yeah. . . So did Caitlyn?? Caitlyn may not have known what to do with Jinx, but the option for her to let Jinx go to prison was there and Vi hated it.

"Cait, she's changed."

"We can't erase our mistakes. None of us."

All the while not doing any time of her own for the crimes she committed—and no, I'm not talking about her gassing the undercity. What she did as a dictator, letting Noxians take over, and hardly doing anything afterwards even though she caused so much pain and misery to both Piltovians and Zaunites goes unpunished. Her losing an eye is nothing compared to the fear many people will feel while living under a dictatorship.

Get the guillotine!!

"Who decides who gets a second chance?"

Exactly. Caitlyn did no better than Jinx. She knows it too. It tears her up inside—as it should!!! Besides, did she think Jinx wasn't going to eventually get out of Stillwater? Or was one of her options to let Jinx rot there until she died? Yeah, I'm sure your girlfriend would love that.

I Hate The CaitVi Sex Scene

Now, let's get to the scene itself!

But first let me talk about what happened right before that—

Vi tries to get Jinx on her side, Jinx rejects her, and Vi watches her sister leave while being told by her that Vi "deserves to be happy" and not to "worry about her anymore".

Yikes.

People say that what happened next with Caitlyn was Vi "finally being selfish", but it just feels wrong to me. Don't get me wrong, Vi deserves to enjoy herself after everything that's been done to her; however, you aren't going to have normal, healthy, healing sex right after seeing a loved one leave you for good.

Trust me lol I've had enough grieving/traumatic experience to know that you can feel upset for hours and won't immediately be able to get into a happy mindset even if you find something to entertain yourself with. You can have people try to cheer you up and you feel a bit better, but you still feel that lingering horrible feeling inside that will eat at you for who knows how long. You could give me Steb wearing the cutest little red panties I have ever seen in my life and I'd still be sad while trying to eat him out. You need to give me that like a day or so AFTER my little breakdown cause I won't enjoy it right after crying about losing my sis.

Sidenote:

Someone please remind me to draw that.

It would take at least an hour for Vi to get back to normal with the way she was reacting. At least. Vi was in that cell for who knows how long, but she was still upset and rather vulnerable when Caitlyn found her. No doubt she needed more time to get herself together.

I Hate The CaitVi Sex Scene

Okay, now, let's get to the scene itself!!!

Bro, don't fuck me while I'm crying unless I'm crying cause I'm laughing too hard or because of sexy overstimulation. Fuck me? Nah, fuck you.

"I choose wrong every time—and because of it. . . I've lost everyone."

"Did you really think I needed all the guards at the HexGates?"

SHUT UP! SHUT UP SHUT UP SHUT AWWWWWUUUPPPPPPP—anyway,

Your girl is clearly upset, grieving her lost relationship with her sister (and likely other loved ones shes lost like Vander/Warwick), feeling guilty, and clearly not in any type of good mood yet your first reaction is to smirk???? You think this is funny?? Now is not the time to tease, Ms. Dumbass.

Vi needs compassion and reassurance not. . . Whatever that was. Yes, showing that you knew all along and didn't do anything to stop her shows that you do care for her, but it also isn't what she needs. Caitlyn did not reassure her that Vi wasn't going to lose her so easily.

Mainly because if she did, that'd be a lie, but that's neither here nor there.

"Sorry to say, you've grown a bit predictable."

Girl, you are not sorry. Quit lying. I can smell the smoke coming off your pants, but I'm not getting the fire extinguisher.

Again, this isn't what Vi needs. Any therapist would be able to tell you that you should seek healthier coping mechanisms other than sex. Does cuddling not exist? Does making out and then putting a stop to it because you realize your girl is not in the right state of mind for this exist??? Seeking sex after feeling so vulnerable and horrible about yourself is in no way, shape, or form okay. Shit isn't cute.

I Hate The CaitVi Sex Scene

Caitlyn, you are more of an animal than you realize.

"Listen! While you were gone, I. . . Saw someone."

All of a sudden you realize that you should stop things because you feel guilty, but that guilt isn't over letting your girl go down on you after being upset and grieving, but about. . . Having another girl while she was gone???? Girl, seriously, your priorities are wack.

She does hesitate for a moment once she sees VI's injury (I can't remember where the injury came from. I stg if it came from Caitlyn or whatever Caitlyn ordered her to do. . .) yet she continues on. There are multiple reasons why they shouldn't do it right then and there, but Caitlyn is so horny she lets Vi pleasure her.

The reasons:

1. Vi is not in the right place of mind, she just lost her sister. Please let her grieve.

2. That is a jail cell. After what happened to her, their first time should be somewhere comfortable. Vi deserves comfort. She deserves to be spoiled. You're in Piltover, Caitlyn has a mansion with a really good bed, but your first fuck is in a dirty jail cell??

3. That is a jail cell that contained her sister. Vi can't reclaim shit about having sex in a jail cell if it's a cell that contained her sister. If there was better writing, she'd feel guilty over having sex in the cell she lost her sister. Her guilt isn't going to immediately go away because of one fuck. That's not how it works. Wish it was, but it's not.

Can I also note that Vi is the one pleasuring Caitlyn and not the other way around? Maybe Vi prefers to eat out rather than be eaten, but I think it just speaks more to her always servicing others rather than servicing herself or being serviced. If the sex scene was gonna happen, at least show Vi being completely selfish and enjoying herself by showing Cait be the one to kiss her down to her coochie. Maybe she's a stone top, but she gives off switch vibes to me.

Fuck you, Cait. Always wanting things to benefit you.

(If it was me, I'd eat Vi out, but, again, that's neither here nor there. . . She's not even in my top favs. I just want the best for her cause I hate Caitlyn lol.)

"I'm feeling fantastic."

FUCK YOUUUU

I Hate The CaitVi Sex Scene

The second I think I am safe from Adolf Caitler apologists they come at me swinging. I need to vent but I am also sick of people calling me "mentally deficient" or "fascist pig" on Twitter for calling them out on their bullshit arguments. Both are real quotes btw.

People really love bringing Jinx up in these arguments so I want to start there. Caitlyn stans find it hypocritical that so many people love Jinx but hate Caitlyn completely missing how one was a product of the oppressive system that had ruined her life multiple times leaving her with lifelong trauma and mental issues while the other is a ignorant person with privilege turned a FASCIST oppressor.

We all could see that Jinx's actions in S1 weren't right but were also a result of trauma and grooming (not in the sexual sense) and I think that most fans could see that she needed therapy and a support system, not prison or some other form of punishment. On the other hand, Caitlyn's arc in S1 was about learning to see beyond her own prejudice, privilege and ignorance and making a step to help the people. This was her goal - to help the people, this is the reason she became an enforcer in the first place, but in S1 she sees with her own eyes that they don't really help the ones that need it and were corrupt.

I personally believed that in S2 she would either change the enforcers for the better or leave them and fight for Zaun against the oppression. Boy, did it hurt to be wrong. S2 put her whole arc in s1 in a completely different perspective. One where Caitlyn cared for Zaun and what happened to the people there on a very surface level. It was more of a pity project than anything. All that while we see Jinx change for the better and have better character development than Cait or Vi combined making the contrast between the two even more striking.

At the end of the day, I will forever and ever find it easier to feel sympathy and forgiveness for characters (and actual human beings for that matter) who are products of a corrupt broken system but are anything but perfect victims and 100% harder for people who grew up with privilege and the second they were hurt sought revenge on the masses even if they weren't at fault for what happened. So arguments like "Jinx killed her mother" and "Cait was justified in wanting revenge" don't resonate with me in the slightest.

"But, in season two, she lost her mother bcs of Jinx, she just blew a blaze like Jinx broke one when she accidentally killed Silco, why want more of Caitlyn and keep defending Jinx constantly? Jinx did a lot of harm around her and everyone eats her hand as if she were a saint...."

...This is a real comment a person wrote to me. Some people are in fact mad that people see Jinx as a product of her environment and as someone who at the end of the day did more to break the cycle and change than the one that gassed people with a chemical weapon which can cause life-threatening long-term effects. I could say more but in the end, this person was just an annoying hypocrite who given a real-life example (Luigi vs corrupt ceo) could say which side was wrong but couldn't do the same for the show just because they liked the character. (People can like any character but arguing that every wrong they make is either justified or non-existent is wrong and annoying. Stand up with your cancelled wife and be proud of it or like them privately and quietly if you are too embarrassed to support them and their wrongs.)

Another one of their arguments that just makes the hair on my arms stand up is about the gassing. There are 3 types of arguments on this topic and they get progressively worse.

"Yeah, it was bad but it was better than going gun blazing like the annoying blond wanted." Here I am simply not sure. Would it have been as bad as when Vi and Powder's parents were killed, would even that have been better than making people live through what that gas causes, only to die young and in pain? I don't know much about the gas except that it is what caused Viktor's condition and the little we saw from the notes of Cait's mom. What are the chances of long-term negative effects? Maybe even if they are high, better painful short life than a quick death there and then. Who knows?

"The gas is not dangerous. It's like tear gas, stop overreacting!" I would understand missing how dangerous it is if we didn't have Viktor as a main character this whole time but come on

"They only gassed criminals and they deserve it" This one truly makes me sick. I once argued with someone about whether this was a war crime or not and if it even mattered because it's a show and not real life. Anyone who tries to justify gassing people and thinks that it's ok bc they are criminals (especially ones who were forced on this path by the broken system) should question where the line is for them. When do people deserve rights and when not? Also, Cait's fans will in one breath justify it saying that it was for the good of all especially the children forced to work in the factories and then say that no one innocent was harmed. Which one is it? Are there children there or only adult criminals?

Then comes the topic of Caitlyn's redemption...Minute for silent scream bc we all have neighbors. I can't say how I would have felt if she was given redemption because...I really liked her in S1 and I was Caitvi's shipper to my core. In S1 it was the only ship that mattered to me bc the others were either not my cup of coffee or I saw them as cute crack ships so maybe I would have been sold on her redemption arc... The problem is that there wasn't anything even remotely close to that. I didn't even hear her apologizing in this whole fucking season and people left and right are "she did all of that (imagine here are dumb examples of what they think her redemption arc was) but you all are just misogynistic/homophobic/racist and just want her to suffer". No, I just wanted the writers to admit that Piltover was the oppressor and they weren't just equally bad.

I am mad that Caitlyn never apologizes for what happened with Vi. "She betrayed Ambessa" Yes, she did but I think we really needed her to apologize to Vi or at least admit she was in the wrong but I don't remember a scene like that. Also even if she had done it it would have been a step towards making things with Vi right not - redemption for everything she did to her or playing a dictator and terrorizing Zaun.

"She fought Ambessa in the end" ...yes but Ambessa was attacking her city and the end-goal would have been the end to them all so what is your point? If Ambessa was going only after Zaun I am not sure Caitlyn would have lifted a finger.

"She freed Jinx" - this again was towards repairing her relationship with Vi not about suffering consequences or working towards undoing everything she did to Zaun.

Now this one actually make me sooo mad. "She gave her seat to Sevika". I hate that from every angle. First of all if she did, that brings a larger problem with the writing this season for me - forgetting or brushing over the very real issue between Piltover and Zaun and minimizing Piltover's fault in the suffering and hardships of the Zaunites. Zaun not being independent by the end of the series makes me want to scream but if the writers' ending to the Zaun-Piltover conflict was Caitlyn giving ONE seat out of 7 in the council to Sevika letting her be surrounded and outnumbered 6 to 1 by people who see her as nothing more than dirt on their shoes I want a refund. If the council wouldn't have done anything for Zaun after the war and it was only Caitlyn... fuck me. I myself question whether she even had the power to give the seat because which dumbass would give a seat on the council to a person who until recently was playing dictator stripping them of their power and working with the very same woman that they were just fighting?

If you read until here I have to apologize for all my rambling and admit that it is only coffee and spite that kept me going. There are probably more things but this is on the top of my mind. If we weren't living in times like these I would look at all these people defending her, her actions and Piltover as a whole and have a good life but now it just makes me mad.

To end this on a positive note (said the person who wrote a whole fucking rant post) the songs from Arcane S2 are so connected to specific scenes and characters in my mind that seeing a sisterly Jinx and Vi eddit on Fantastic permanently traumatized me.

friendly reminder: that what her ass is wearing the majority of a season. AND THIS CALLED OUR EMO BUTCH QUEEN AN ANGRY OIL SLICK?! sis go shower

Friendly Reminder: That What Her Ass Is Wearing The Majority Of A Season. AND THIS CALLED OUR EMO BUTCH

caitlyn kiramman is a cheater, an abuser and a racist.

hater for life! if you like racists, cheaters and abusers, good for you!

vi is a person with many traumas; loss of her biological parents, loss of her father figure and best friends, this loss being caused by her sister, loss of her sister, then learning that her sister is alive but enemy, 7 years full of abuse in prison, no one to trust around.

she needs therapy, thats for sure, but she also needs people who'll take care of her, who'll show affection and love to her, who'll comfort her. vi deserves them.

but cait is all about her "kiramman family" household, the commanding power she has, the enforcements, the discrimination and the racist propaganda against zaunian people she infuses in piltover poeple.

about abusing, vi was abused in jail for over 7 years, NONSTOP. and guess, where did they had their first time?

in a cell. in a fucking cell.

OH NOT TO MENTION cait used vi's emotional state and manipulated her into having sex.

"you've grown a bit predictible." wtf? isn't this provoking?

also, what about she continuously hitting vi? she hit vi many times with her gun(riffle?).

"you look like an angry oil slick." thanks babe i didn't realize you were mocking the way i look.

she is racist to zaunian people, she has many words talking about how zaunian people are low, uneducated and ignorant.

it is true that they are uneducated, like duh, you guys never gave them the chances to study in a school. they had to fight to exist, they had to build the undercity to stay alive. cait is criticizing how bad zaunian people are, discriminating vi and her environment for this but she is okay with killing zaunians for the sake of piltover. fucking racist, i say.

about cheating, ofc, there's this whole oil&water thing going on but vi never actually said that oil&water couldn't exist near each other.

a relationship doesn't mean that you have to do everything with your partner, you must have a personal time too. you need to exist and live your life with your partner added into your life; not your partner being your life.

in the oil&water concept, this idea of mine means oil shouldn't mix with water BUT exist near water. that's why i think the oil&water talk was NEVER EVEN a breakup conversation.

relying on and believeing in this idea makes me think that they never broke up, but went into a break. (because they didn't see each other for A WHILE) vi meant to say that cait should give her space to exist, not try to turn vi into a piltoverian.

since cait didn't give vi her space to exist as the way who she is, vi left.

but even during this break, vi coped through alcohol and fighting, but caitlyn preffered fucking other women and cheating. INTIMACY WITH OTHERS COUNT AS CHEATING if you're in a break with your partner, no matter the gender or sexuality.

i hate maddie for the way she is, but i can understand her as a spy sent by noxus OR a basic officer who is in love with her boss. CAITLYN USED MADDIE AS A BANDAGE and no one can deny it.

even if maddie wanted to seduce caitlyn, cait is far more higher ranked than her. if cait weren't to accept or want maddie in her bed, maddie wouldn't even stand a chance BECAUSE maddie is lower ranked than cait and has no rights to refuse a commander + the leader of kiramman household.

caitlyn knowingly and wantingly cheated on vi. she enjoyed that sick relationship with maddie. she cheated on vi and used maddie as a prostitute via corruptly using her power.

and oh god vi is so stupid to accept caitlyn back, mf are you for fucking real???? she cheated on you, are you blind??????

so yes. hater for life!

i have been playing league of legends since pool party zoe came out, i am a morgana main and i'm familiar with caitvi for a long time. i like this caitvi relationship ingame, but for arcane i'll never ever forgive nor like caitlyn kiramman.

Apparently I pissed some people off with my arcane post which uh..

oops đŸ€·â€â™‚ïž

my post was specifically about the fact that people on Pinterest were fighting because they refused to think there was any single reason why people might dislike Caitlyn. It’s almost like my post kicked the dog and now they’re yelping or something

Also. I have to mention the fact that the enforcers don’t HAVE to parallel cops specifically. They’re “enforcers”. Look back in history to any violent regime and you’ll find more parallels between the enforcers and them.

they’re not just cops- they’re the idea of violence carried out via the government, and that’s never been a North American specific issue.

"Stop projecting your America-centric view of cops onto the enforcers in Arcane!" as if the very first shot in season 1 isn't a bloodbath with Vi and Powder's parents having been murdered by enforcers, as if we don't witness multiple violations of their power in season 2 and as if police brutality isn't a global issue.

I think most of the hatred that Caitlyn gets isn’t just the standard misogynistic hatred that female characters get, it’s hatred for the system she represents.

People forget that the enforcers are literally vessels to show Piltover’s dictatorship over Zaun. Enforcers started in LOL as a joke about police brutality (VI’s old attack names anyone?). In our current day and age it’s more than understandable why people might hate the character meant to be the oppressor. Caitlyn isn’t like Ekko or Jinx, she’s not fighting the system she’s a representative of the system.

I’m not saying nobody’s supposed to like her, the show wants to test your boundaries and make you think about stuff like this, I’m just sick of people not acknowledging the very real reasons people may not like Caitlyn. Right now in the US it’s not very fun or calming to see people fawning over a character that gassed a “lower people” with the way our politicians are acting.
