i hate getting fixated on media that was popular before i was born but is niche now
"In a festive non-lesbian manner"
I KNOW WHAT YOU ARE ANGELA MONTENEGRO
I keep thinking abt tipsy Angela in 1x09 saying she might kiss Brennan at the Christmas party and then immediately bi-panicking and covering it up saying âin a festive non-lesbian mannerâ girl could you be any more obviousâŚ..
sometimes a trans headcanon is 5 pages of careful textual analysis and reasoning and sometimes it's "i know this doesn't make sense but it's my favourite character and i get to decide the gender" and sometimes you have both within the same media and that's beautiful.

Day 9: 4 Hodgela scenes that made you cry
I think perhaps my favorite thing about this couple is that they were completely unplanned at the start of the series. TJ and Michaela had such chemistry during their scenes together in season 1, that the producers and writers had no choice but to take notice. It wasnât always smooth sailing for these two. And we even had to endure a broken up Hodgela for a couple years. It could have been painful, but I think they both grew into the people they needed to be in order to finally achieve their happily ever ever. Angela and Hodgins have been a joy to watch evolve and grow more and more in love with each passing season. One of my all-time favorite moments (not pictured) is when Hodgins made it possible for Angela to pursue her dream of living and working in Paris. The plans were set, and they had one foot out the door. But during their last case at the Jeffersonian, Angela witnesses Hodginsâ excitement as he operates a piece of machinery. And he literally tells the machine that he will miss it. The scene cuts to Angela just staring at her husband. And later, she informs him that they have to stay in D.C. Hodginsâ life is at the Jeffersonian. And she cannot take away his dream just to fulfill her own. Even if he would willingly bend the world to make her happy. âAnd-and Iâm okay with it. As long as Iâm with you.â Additionally, the paralysis arc was some of TJ and Michaelaâs most compelling work to date. Like Booth and Brennan, Hodgins and Angela have proven time and time again that they are solid. Though they nearly crumbled when Hodgins spiraled into a dark and hopeless state after learning that he may never walk again. Angela refused to give up on her husband and the life they share. And she helped him find his way out of the darkness. Now they are thriving once more. And I couldnât be happier. They deserve the world, and more. Angela is Hodginsâ carburetor for life.Â
Donât tell Angela, but one of our interns is paired with her for our Secret Santa this year, and this is her Christmas present! :)

Angela has a crush on Arastoo because he is a poet and Hodgins has a crush on Arastoo because he is a political exile sooo when are they going to fuck
Booth has a younger sister that is a surgical resident and introduces her to his team, finally, but it takes a turn he wasn't expecting and he hates it. Jack Hodgins x OC/Natalie Booth, surgical intern
Booth wasn't sure why he agreed to this. It was a bad idea. a very bad idea. but here he was, standing in the Jeffersonian lab, introducing his little sister to the team.Â
Boothâs younger sister, Dr. Natalie Booth, had recently secured an internship at Georgetown Memorial Hospital. Bright, sharp, and he hated to admit it but charmingly confident, Natalie had always had a knack for making an impression and right now she's doing just that.Â
âI've heard so much about all of youâ, Natalie said, her smile lighting up the room. Bones of course is a legend and Angela, your artistry is incredible and you must be Dr. Hodgins. she turns her attention to Jack Hodgins, her smile shifting is something a little bit more mischievous.Â
âYeah that's me, Hodgins said, his usual confidence faltering as he shook her hand. âCall me Jack.âÂ
Natalie tilted her head. âJack, huh? Well it's a pleasure to meet you. She let her gaze linger just a little longer than necessary. and Boothâs stomach dropped. This was not happening.Â
Hodgins cleared his throat, clearly flustered. âThe pleasure is all mineâ, he said, his voice a little bit higher than usual.Â
Booth steps in, firmly placing a hand on Hodginsâ shoulder and steering him aside. âOkay, let's focus, people. Natalie's just here to say hi, not to distract anyone.âÂ
âI'm not distracting anyoneâ, Natalie said innocently, though the playful glint in her eyes said otherwise. âJack, do you always let my brother boss you around like this?âÂ
Hodginâs grinned, âNot usually but, he's kind of scary when he's protective.âÂ
âOh, trust meâ, Natalie said, stepping closer to Hodgins despite Boothâs glare. He's been like this since we were kids. Remember when you scared of my prom date, Seeley? Â
âThe guy deserved itâ, Booth snapped, folding his arms. âHe had a tattoo on his neck.âÂ
Natalie laughed. âIt was a barbed wire tattoo. Very trendy at the time. Anyway, Jack, whatâs it like working here? Do you enjoy it?Â
âYeahâ, Hodgins said, smiling back at her. âI get to play with bugs and dirt all day. It's a dream job.âÂ
âBugs, huh?" Natalie asked, raising a brow. âSounds ... intriguing.âÂ
Booth stepped between them, arms wide like he was breaking up a fight. âOkay, enough. Natalie, donât you have surgery to prepare for? Hodgins don't you have some slime or whatever to analyze?âÂ
Angela snorted in the background, leaning towards Brennan. âThis is going to be fun.â Â
Natalie peeked around Booth's broad frame to catch Hodgins' eye. âGuess I'll see you around, Jack.âÂ
âLooking forward to itâ, Hodgins said, his grin widening.Â
Booth groaned, running hand through his hair. He knew Natalie loved teasing him, but this? Flirting with Hodgins? This was a new level of torture.Â
As Natalie turned to leave, Booth followed her out of the lab. âSeriously, Nat, what was that?âÂ
âWhat? âshe said, feigning innocence. âHe's cute.âÂ
âHe's Hodginsâ, Booth hissed. âStay away from him.â Â
âOh, relaxâ, she said with a wink. âYou should be happy Iâm making friends.âÂ
âFriends, my assâ, Booth muttered under his breath. He could already tell this wasn't the last he heard about Natalie and Hodgins.Â
Back in the lab, Hodginâs was still staring at the door, goofy grin on his face.Â
âJack,â Angela said, smirking. âYouâve got it bad.âÂ
âYeah,â Hodgins admitted, barely registering her comment. âI think so.âÂ
