I see you, Rancilda-defenders. I love you, Rancilda-defenders.

But I just need to say how cool it is that it's not part of Ellas story to forgive her. A lot of people have pointed out the unapologetic revenge story but I need to put emphasis on this point. Rancilda is someone you could expect a hero to forgive. She was just following her mothers orders. She's a child. She stands up for herself in the end.

But she's not forgiven, and I love that. You can headcanon that she survives, and lives happily ever after under her favorite bridge. I do like that, too.

But it's not part of Ella's journey to forgive. She doesn't have to forgive this troll, who's wearing the skin of her murdered friend, who bullied and threatened her for what's possibly years, who held her down as her feet were sawed off, who laughed when she died.

I just think that's crucial. I just think that's awesome. Ella could have forgiven her. But it's not required of her. Her being a hero has nothing to do with her forgiving her abuse. I like that.

I saw someone talk about how they tried to get into Damangela just to spite people but then saw the karaoke stream and that's when they *had* to stop because it made them want to "throw up from embarrassment" because Angela moved away from him during their little part of their duet in Dancing Through Life?????

When will the antis learn that they are overanalyzing things just as much as we do. Like we say "oh they looked fondly at each other here I love how much closer they are :)" and we're the freaks but Angela was just into singing the song and moved away from Damien a bit and "omg how embarrassing for Damien and Damangela fans!! She HATES him!!!" like WE'RE ALL FREAKS HERE! We're ALL overanalyzing stuff to fit our narrative. And I mean I *do* feel like our overanalysis is at least a bit more accurate than theirs is lol but my god. Y'all need to touch grass and get a life.

Idk why they feel the need to bring Damien and Damangela up SO much if they really hate them that much. Like dude just focus on Amangela and Angela. Literally no one over there is talking about Damangela except people mocking them. I know you can say the same thing about me bringing up the antis because they don't really come over here that often (except to occasionally say that a damangela art or fanfic should've been amangela lol) but idc. ngl i think the real reason people hate the idea of damangela as a duo is because they personally dislike damien and project themselves onto their favs so hard they can't imagine angela caring for him when they don't. people are so weird towards angela in that regard where they'll write off her own words about damien just so they can push this agenda that they aren't friends. like if you're actively dismissing someone's feelings and the things they've expressed to fit your agenda how can you say you care about them? damien and angela are my favorite cast members independently of one another (fan of them both through smosh and their other ventures off the channels) and over the past year i started to really enjoy their dynamic so damangela also became one of my favorite duos. being a fan of them both separately of one another allowed me to notice how often they talk about one another, praise one another, and generally appreciate one another even before i started seeing them as a duo. the hate they get just feels so... distinctly targeted in a very strange way and i can only explain it through the lens of it being projection.

I sadly think you might be right. Bc even with other Damien duos, people think he has no chemistry with anyone. Some people really think no one there likes Damien and he “tries hard” to be their friend which is not true. Angela specifically has shown time and time again she likes Damien and vice versa. As you said, they mention each other a lot and say nothing but nice things. And it’s fine if not everyone likes Damien, you don’t have to, but just straight up lying saying the cast doesn’t either is very terrible honestly
