modern au liiy and petunia LOVE barbie with all their heart. when they were kids, they had marathons of every movie at least once a year.
when they became teenagers it happened less frequently, simply because petunia went through phases where she thought she was too "adult" to watch children's films, but even then she surrendered whenever lily started watching alone.
one day lily forced severus to watch with them and half the session was petunia and severus fighting and seriously discussing the plots of the films while lily laughed.
and at the end, each one made a ranking of best film + best barbie + best companion. lily's favorite movie is barbie a fairy secret, severus' one is barbie in a christmas carol and petunia's one is barbie in the 12 dancing princesses.
whenever i imagine sirius and james dating it has to be in an AU because i genuinely believe that if they had stayed together, nothing in the world would be able to break them apart. they would get married and be the most unbearable couple ever
so in my vision of canon compliant they had feelings for each other at different times and were never able to tell anyone cuz they were afraid to lose the most important person in their world. but they definitely kissed a few times and said it was completely platonic
helaena and alys talking throught their spiritual connection, helaena telling alys all about her favorite insects, alys telling her the haunting stories of harrenhal, and then they kiss in the astral plane and live happily ever after
i need to improve my view of her but here are some headcanons of my girl
went to hogwarts in 1972 (one year younger than the marauders)
hufflepuff with second house in gryffindor
social butterfly who can make everyone like her, has at least two friends in every house. the ultimate golden retriever energy
extremely persistent, once she sets her mind to something nothing can stop her
hates starting something and not finishing it, for amelia, all work has to be well done and complete
one day she chose red and pink as her favorite colors and decided to make her personality. as a teenager she used to dye her hair with several pink streaks and it became her personal brand
her love language is a mix of affection and bullying, she loves to piss off the people she cares about but she also makes sure to always show her real feelings
she collects everything that has a heart shape
plays the drums
learned a little about muggle culture because she loves their music
loves planning trips with friends and gets sad when they forget in the next day because she was the only one being serious about the idea
loves to spoil susan and take her on trips since the girl really takes her ideas seriously
somebody yap to me about amelia bones !!
i dont think ill survive if school spirits isnt renewed and i never get to see simon and maddie hug
the relationship between these two means the world to me, it was because of them that i fell in love with this show and i live for all their interactions
i personally dont ship them and wouldnt be happy if they became canon because their friendship is so amazing, but its still my favorite relationship in the entire show and i genuinely believe that they are the most important people in each others lives and they simply couldnt move on without each other, nothing will make me change my mind
alphard and cygnus make fun of walburga cuz shes the older sister so strict and perfect that she looks like a robot
cygnus and walburga make fun of alphard cuz hes the middle brother that doesnt fit in the family and no one pays attention
walburga and alphard make fun of cygnus cuz hes the younger brother that thinks he's smarter than he really is
s3 pls give me rhonda and simon crashing out together, they deserve it
“And hunting each other. And all of those thrilling, terrible things.”
“We were having so much fun out there. That’s the terrible truth we left behind.”
if theres one thing i hate the most about the jily fandom is when they headcanon that lily's hatred towards james was purely insecurity cause she didnt believed he was actually in love with her and thought it was just a joke
LIKE PLEASE STOP james was a bully and a dick, lily used to hate him cuz she only knew the worst aspects of him. pre jily angst is interesting cuz at some point lily saw other side of him that she fell for and she had to deal with the turbulent feelings that the different sides of james brings to her, not because "oh james is so popular and cool, he would never fall for someone like me" type of shit
i also like to imagine that james fell in love with lily much later than people think, around sixth year. for me, before that, he thought she was pretty but didn't like her very much. but thats just me and my headcanons based on how i feel reading their interactions in snape's worts memory, it feels more like james trying to annoy her than him actually in love
obsessed with learning languages, especially latin languages. he knows how to speak english (duh), french, italian, portuguese, spanish and a bit of romanian and german.
strictly aroace but he was also raised and and used to dream with the fairy tales of a perfect marriage so he had a lot of internal conflicts when he started to understand himself.
trans man but he was never able to fully express his gender as he wished due to the society standards. the only people to ever know he was trans are narcissa and barty (maybe pandora too but i think he never told her, she just had a feeling).
hes very smart (book smart at least) but he never been that great at magic. he maneges to get good grades since hes good in the theoretical part and because hes also very hardworking.
hates smoking and drinking, he thinks is stupid and useless. the first and only time his friends convinced him to drink and get drunk he spent the next day with a terrible hangover and couldn't even smell alcohol without feeling disgusted.
his favorite subject is the theoretical part of dada cuz he gets stressed when he actually have to make the spells. he also loves astronomy and history of magic.
he knows hes the favorite child and he loves it. hes also closer to walburga than orion but he loves them both.
unlike how some might think, regulus was not in favor of some kind of revolution for the house elves. just like a big part of the wizarding world, he was raised to believe that having a house elf was normal for those who can afford. he did like kreacher and treat him "well" but he still sees him as a property.
regulus shares most of his family's beliefs, including blood supremacy. at school he didn't participate in the bullying that some purebloods did to muggleborns because he was a recluse, but he still saw them as inferior and would be rude whenever he was forced to interact with one.
walburga and orion were obviously blood supremacists but they didnt like the idea of joining voldemort since it was so extreme and dangerous. regulus' desire to become a death eater was influenced by the school, as it was becoming something desired by slytherin teenagers because of the promise of power and belonging to a group (maybe by bellatrix too). so he become a deatheater by free will and his parents (although they were a little uncertain) were proud after regulus convinced them that it was something good for the family's future.
I keep thinking about why was it so weird to people that Cami had a dark backstory introduced in season 3. I do agree that it should have been introduced in season 1, like mid season or something, but to me it made a lot of sense.
I mean, her very first scene in TVD has her practically narrating Klaus' state of mind. And sure, she is a psychologist, but like...I've been to a lot of those and they aren't usually that good. Sure, she was looking at a painting, but the knowledge was immediate and it got me thinking that she just probably expects people to be able to do awful things, despite also thinking they want to be good, because that's who she is. She wants to be good, but she has a dark mind.
Cami was terrified about ending up killing a lot of people, like Sean did, because she view that as a possibility. Normal people, no matter their degree, don't usually think that about themselves even if a relative did something like this. Sure, you can think about killing someone when you're stress or angry or joke about it, but to actually think yourself capable of that and fear it? No, that's not very usual.
And her attraction to Klaus, despite knowing everything about him? Her sympathy towards him?
Yeah, the clues were there all along.
