This happy little kitten is ready to treat himself to some cake! I'd love to have that slice of cake right now, wouldn't you? ππ° If you are interested in this design, you can follow the link in my bio to get it as a sticker! God bless!
Here is the progress of a recent commission that I did! π I don't officially have commissions open, but if there's anything you'd really like to commission then you are free to send me a message and we can see if we can work something out! This is a memoriam piece for a sweet doggy that passed away.
These wonderful mer-characters belong to my dear friend @gadzooksgalore / @toothpaste-dragon! ππ₯³π She has two wonderful mer story projects that you can follow along with! I especially love Kolver, he is such a cutie.
And YES, more than half of these tropes fit Discord, that's why I cannot shake this scrunkly even 10+ years later...
(Especially since I really love the headcanons that say Discord was an artifically created being/homunculus... it's not canon but... it's not not canon either)
(just for the heck of it)
Character who starts out as an antagonist/villain and goes through a redemption arc
^ The above, but after they are redeemed, they still struggle to integrate in with 'the good guys' and have a long road of earning the trust of others
Homunculus/artificially created being who is misunderstood by others/longs to understand humanity
^ Especially when they are good but were created by someone evil
As an alternative take, a homunculus/artificially created being who was made by someone very good and struggles to live up to their creator's light
A very hard to get along with/seemingly jerk-y character who is actually extremely loving and sensitive deep down, and it shows around the people they trust
Siblings who are mirrors of the other (what they might be, could have been, and wish they were), who understand each other more deeply than anyone else but struggle to reconcile themselves to one another
Villains/antagonists who give the hero a terrible time but are actually really kind and considerate to their own associates (has a found family with all of their henchmen, has really good healthcare benefits and perks for their workers, is able to upkeep positive relationships and is actually respected)
I made these four mini paintings as Christmas gifts for friends and family! The canvases have magnets on the back. I really enjoyed painting all of these. Which one is your favorite? π
I wanted to slowly introduce more of the Wellwishers cast, and make an introductory post for another important character -- Witherspoon's younger brother, Dimi! He's just a little guy, your honor. π And have a redraw of a SpongeBob scene that I did with the Everbros, too!
some of you are like βthe relationship between brothers cannot be deep, and if it is, it must be parentalβ as if older siblings donβt raise their younger siblings and leave impressions upon each otherβs hearts. and then yell at each other for eating their food. itβs both.
Here is another little musing for this week! Do you like my more thought-based mini comics? π Remember that you're special and that you are loved! God bless! I hope you enjoyed this week's installment of 'Slices of Gremlin'! I am going to continue updating every Tuesday, and if you would like to support the comic and get early access, you can sign up to be a member of the 'Little Creature Club' on Ko-Fi!

"Wolpertinger Family Leporidae Volaticus ramusalis
Reddish hue, with grey-blue primary feathers and ruddy patches on its legs and back.
Native to the eastern European Alps, these creatures are shy and like small colonies in rocky burrows. Males - also known as "bucks" - grow antlers after the second year.
Young are born sightless and helpless underground, where they are raised by the colony until maturity; a matter of weeks. Females and young greatly resemble their closest relative, the Skvader (Volaticus suecia) while males seem akin to the Jackalope (Volaticus americanus) of the American Rocky Mountains. All Volaticus spp. seem to prefer altitude."
"Antlers: genus Volaticus V. ramusalis "Wolpertinger" V. americanus "Jackalope" V. miraji "Al-miraj" V. raspel "Rasselbuck" V. suecia "Skvader" "
Oh I love making up fake species profiles. Blame my proclivity for birding, I suppose. All of these are 'real' folklore rabbits from around the world. Credit for the Wolpertinger references goes to @meklarian's lovely desert cottontail photography, which was both the basis and inspiration for these!
