for me personally, i've been improving my self image by focusing on things i do like despite being overly critical. like yes taking birth control for years has made me gain weight but at least my skin is clearer now. plus thick thighs are cute. and maybe i can be annoying with my habit of sending several texts at a time, but at least i'm showing people that i love that i care about them.
