i think it’s also kinda implied that the highstorms have a huge effect on height/stature, bc the alethi, who live closest to the origin, have the tallest average height on roshar, while the shin, who are completely sheltered, have the shortest average height

I hadn't quite noticed just how tall Kaladin is supposed to be until it was mentioned here. I'm noticing it now that I'm looking for it in this read through. [Redacted] in The Sunlit Man is tall compared to the people on Canticle, but short compared to the Alethi. How fuckin tall is Kaladin? Is he a Chara sized 20 year old?

More importantly...is he taller than Rock? Rock is bulky and overall bigger, but IS HE TALLER?? I DO NOT KNOW!?

yeah i personally have always thought of the ship as like rivals to friends to lovers, where beacon arc is like ruby constantly insisting on being friends with weiss, and weiss gradually warming towards her because of it, then the the romantic subtext comes later, in like volumes 6-8

I really enjoy Whiterose as a ship, but I do wish more of the FNDM surrounding it weren't so invested in their V1 characterizations.

Ruby and Weiss have both grown so much and honestly its as they are now that I love the idea of a romance between them.

Weiss has become a lot kinder and wiser, while still being able to get a bit prissy and bent out of shape.

Ruby has had more burdens to be sure, but has also grown smoother and more confident in how she carried herself.

Both still have a lot of their original energy, when Ruby is in a good space she can be very bouncy and Weiss can be quite regal, but there's more to them than "Puppy X Tsudere" and I wish we saw more of that.

So, I was thinking about voting in the US election at the library Tuesday. I have also found out that they rent video games and I've been hankering lately to play Resident Evil like i did when I was younger. I just hope they have a copy for PS4.

The library is less than a mile from my house, I'm desperately trying to save money, and I also have large swaths of alone time now that I'm single. I need to start hanging out there, I think. I have fond memories of the library in the town I grew up in in Ohio.

Maybe if more of us asexuals and aromantics embrace our identities, we can start a library revolution and save them. It's one of the last spaces you can visit where you don't have to spend money. Now that I'm single, I have time for this.

If I ever win the lottery, I'm donating a shit ton of money to the library.
