The funniest love triangle in fiction happened in The Well of Ascension, the second Mistborn book, where Zane was like "[insert evil laugh here] I'm gonna torture my half-brother by making his girlfriend fall in love with me and force her to choose between us". Meanwhile Vin is just living her life and dealing with plot stuff and never gives any indication of harboring the barest romantic or even platonic feeling towards Zane, and when he finally makes his offer she's like "what the fuck dude of course I'm not picking you". The third point of the non-existent triangle, Elend, remains blissfully unaware of any all these events (including that he has a half-brother) because he's too busy dealing with other plot stuff. So, I was thinking about voting in the US election at the library Tuesday. I have also found out that they rent video games and I've been hankering lately to play Resident Evil like i did when I was younger. I just hope they have a copy for PS4.

The library is less than a mile from my house, I'm desperately trying to save money, and I also have large swaths of alone time now that I'm single. I need to start hanging out there, I think. I have fond memories of the library in the town I grew up in in Ohio.

Maybe if more of us asexuals and aromantics embrace our identities, we can start a library revolution and save them. It's one of the last spaces you can visit where you don't have to spend money. Now that I'm single, I have time for this.

If I ever win the lottery, I'm donating a shit ton of money to the library.
