A friend threatened me to repost so I will!
Basically, there r tons of fake asses on tumblr who just want comments and followers, so someone started this to see who's actually a good friend. Everyone I tag better repost (and tag other people and preferably threaten them in a creative way as well) bc I'm high on caffeine and newfound lesbianism and will resort to violence.

I would tag more people but they're the only ones I've really interacted with-

wrenabernathyâ:
Wren Abernathy had not been raised to discuss problems in public. Actually, he had not been raised to discuss problems, period. Many families tried to keep up appearances for the outside, but in the Abernathy family it went well beyond that, to the point where it had been nearly impossible for Wren to even talk to Chessie since sheâd moved in with him. Of course, he checked up on her, made sure she ate and spent his evenings sitting in front of her bedroom door. But if he was being honest with himself, heâd been avoiding talking about what had happened as much as she had been avoiding him.
So, when Ben asked about her, all he did was dip his head and then look back up with what he hoped was an encouraging smile. âSheâs okay,â he said, his intonation falling flat indicating Wrenâs response was anything but an invitation to discuss Chessie. âHow are you?â he asked, hoping that would be enough to change the subject. He liked Ben well enough, but he hadnât exactly sought out the most clandestine table in the entire place to still have to talk about what had happened.
Despite his motherâs efforts to always tell Ben it wasnât polite to be nosy, it never worked. He was always looking at drama from afar and never really trying to get into it himself. The latter was inevitable with a last name like Vanderbilt as well as having a knack for vices. It wasnât his fault, it was in his blood. At least thatâs what he told himself.Â
âGood, glad to hear that,â He caught on that this was something Wren wasnât particularly open about talking about, which was fine. He just liked hearing that she was okay. âIâm fine. I couldnât be better.â He lied, not wanting to delve into any more details. Ben was a private person, he was taught to swallow his problems and put on a happy face when he was growing up. That was one of the few things that carried over into adulthood for him. âHow are you?â He asked, returning the gesture. âDid you have a better New Yearâs than the rest of us?â
wrenabernathyâ:
Getting out of the house for non-work-related events for the first time in almost three weeks was a thing in itself, but Wren also felt like he was being watched with every step he took. Thatâs Wren Abernathy, his sister is the one who overdosed on New Yearâs Eve, he could hear all around him. And even though he knew it was just all in his mind, it made him uber-conscious of every move he made.
So, instead of looking for the crowds, Wren was happy to find his favorite cafĂ© and make his way all the way to the back to sit at the tiny round table. Heâd been reading the newspaper for a few minutes when he heard glass falling and looked up to the barista whoâd dropped things, and then couldnât help but recognize the person standing just a few feet away from him. âOh,â he said as the other also seemed to notice Wren. âHi.â
Cafeâs reminded him of Europe. Well, sort of. Anything was better than Starbucks. Ben was longing for a pastry which is why he ended up inside in the first place. And then he saw Chessieâs brother. Shit.Â
âHey Wren,â He said. He wasnât sure if Wren got the full rundown of events that had occurred o New Yearâs Eve. Did he know that Ben was with Chessie when she ODâed? âHowâs your sister?â He couldnât help but ask. All of this felt too familiar and he was going to ask if she was alright any chance that he got.
Wren: It's my Christmas card. I made it online.
Ben: Christmas is celebrated so differently in Europe.
Ben: we should try to give it a shot over here.

Ben: what the hell is this??
wrenabernathyâ:
âWell, itâs healthy. For your bones, and stuff.â Wren didnât mess about when it came to his health regime, but regardless, he smiled faintly as he spoke. Wren knew that when they were younger, Ben and Quinn had been close, and after that confusing blast from Gossip Girl Wren had been left with more questions than he liked to admit - but it had all paled next to his break up with Quinn. And so, Wren was fine being polite to the returned Ben, but it feel weird to talk to him, as if too much was still unclear to him. âOh, yes, she wouldnât be an Abernathy if she wasnât,â Wren replied to Benâs last comment with a smile, though it would sound slightly bitter if Chessie could hear him. Keeping up appearances, that was all that mattered to the Abernathy dynasty - being a good host certainly came with that. âSo .. why did you decide to come back?â Wren tried tentatively, not sure where that question would lead them.
âSo is kale but you donât see me downing it every day,â He replied jokingly. Fuck, he really should watch what he put into his body more. There was a lot of shit he put into it. âYeah, she lets me have some coffee in the morning which yâknow, Iâm a simple guy. Give me some coffee and Iâm set,â The smile completely faded from Benâs face as Wren asked the question. It seemed like the big elephant in the room. What was he doing back? He hadnât revealed to anyone that he was here to make amends with Quinn even if Gossip Girl had outed him. As far as he was concerned, it was no oneâs business besides his and Quinnâs. Ben then gave a slight shrug, âI guess I felt like it was time for a visit. Itâs been a few years,â He tried to sound composed while he answered Wren, âItâs nice to see that not much has changed. I feel like Iâm right at home,â That was a lie as well, âHow about you? How have you been?â
wrenabernathyâ:
Wren knew the appropriate response was to say heâd prefer beer, but he didnât. And, when he was feeling fine he could easily just agree with what he should like best and leave it at that, but when he was stressed he slid into type A personality overdrive and he followed his daily schedule even tighter than usual. âIâd have to go with the milk, actually,â he said, but then gave an apologetic smile to the other - letting him know non-verbally that he wasnât trying to be a buzzkill on purpose. âAnyway, uhm - Chessie told me youâve been holed up here for the past few weeks. Howâs that going? Did she and Ophelia drive you crazy yet?â
What was with no one around here liking beer? He just figured that he was extremely cultured compared to the rest of them. âYouâd voluntarily drink milk? Only nutcases do that,â He added. âAre they supposed to be driving me crazy? Iâve tried to not be too much of an intrusion on them since this is their place.â Ben tried to be as respectful as he could in their penthouse. He felt like an intrusion less now but O still scared him a bit. He was getting along with Chessie pretty well. âIâm just thankful for a bed and some coffee in the morning. Your sisterâs a pretty good house host.â
wrenabernathyâ:
Wren felt like an outsider - and it felt strange. Heâd mostly been observing the other people, laughing and drinking in the atmosphere of the holidays, and Wren was usually a sucker for events like that, but everything had been clouded with misery the last few days. Still, heâd resolved himself to get over it, to make himself happy without Quinn waiting for him somewhere, because if he wanted his relationship with Nathalie to work thatâs what it would take. Didnât mean it was easy, though. âI would guess that if Santa has the ability to visit all homes across the world in a single night, he also has the ability to not get drunk,â he replied dryly as he faced Ben.Â
He wished that Wren at least entertained his comment. âOr maybe that makes him work even faster. Youâd be surprised what others think they can do when theyâre that inebriated,â When he was abroad and that drunk, he felt invincible. Maybe a fictional character would feel the same. âItâs just interesting to think that children are very adamant about putting out beer. And here weâre all about milk.â He said with a shrug. âWould you rather have beer or milk?â
