i'm making a zine about furby fashion!

inspired by the stylish furby (jpn) (eng) magazine that was released by tomy in 1999, but this time featuring the energy of what the modern furby fandom has become in 2025 (anarchic/queer/DIY/subversive/surreal/filtered through several layers of internet brain).

you can let me know if you're interested in contributing here! i'll do my best to reply to everyone ASAP, deadline for this volume is March 1st, but if there's enough interest i may publish more in the future?

also i do most of my Furbyposting on my instagram if you wanna follow me there.

please note that this is for artists 18 & over, just because i want to be wary of different legislation around collecting & sharing folks' information - but you can always make your own zine!

I'm currently in self-inflicted Furby jail so I can't grab this guy (also Canadian shipping costs are a bitch) so I can't get him therefore reblog so someone else can see!

Dug this guy out of some deep corner of my parent's garage, looking to give him away to a new home. I know original Furbies (especially ones in 100% working condition) are somewhat valuable, even second-hand, so I don't want to throw it away. If you're willing to provide a residential address/PO box address to ship to + reimburse postage/shipping cost, send me a message. I'm based in Australia. I'll remove this post and close my box if and when someone comes to claim it. P.S. I think the only thing it's missing is eyelashes... somehow.

Introduction Post

So I've been posting for a while but never made a proper introduction, here we go!

I'm Danni, an 18 year old from Canada who collects and adores Furbies

I started my collection mid-2020 after watching Strange Aeons' video about making her long furby Thursday. I wanted one for myself and Cement was born!

I also run a sideblog where I edit others' furbies with funny quotes, feel free to check out @inspirational-furby for that!

If you ever want to contact me, even just to chat, my DMs are always open! I probably won't message first because social anxiety is a bitch lol

At first I posted on Instagram but I moved to Tumblr because I like the community better among other reasons that I won't get into. I don't think I know enough to speak on them
