Here’s a my design idea for a MLP version of Aversa from Fire Emblem: Awakening. She’s a zebra/pegasus hybrid.

I wanted to try and imagine and draw what some of the manaketes in Fire Emblem would look like as ponies. I originally wanted to start with Tiki but I got stumped trying to figure out how she and her outfits would look in pony-ish form, she has so many different dragon forms. So I took a brake from drawing her and instead came up with a design for Nowi. The leafy sea dragon wings were kind of difficult to figure out, but I think they turned out well.
A little mini Grima I drew about a year or two ago.

Osamu Dazai: He actively tries to kill himself multiple times throughout the series. Apparently also flirts with almost every guy who appears on screen with him. He acts silly, but is actually quite intelligent and planning. (He wasn't submitted with much detail)

Ok, if anyone is looking for a Fire Emblem Awakening longfic… I just read this work by jonagold on AO3 and enjoyed it so, so much. It explores the relationship between the future children and their present selves after the game’s end, particularly how the young Lucina grows up in a time of peace with the her from an alternate future in her life…. It reads like a coming-of-age novel and for me, it was a treat to find.

TLDR: Incredibly cool giant apocalypse dragon who has been repeatedly betrayed and attacked by humans, his worshippers are awful and not even he likes them, super complicated and interesting relationship with his unwilling vessel who may or may not actually be Grima himself reincarnated.

Grima Propaganda! (Because I deeply appreciate this messed up villain)
The Fell Dragon Grima, the dark deity bent on eradicating humanity, the bringer of the zombie apocalypse, and a lot of fans’ blorbo.
When you first meet them in Fire Emblem Awakening, they’re the Big Bad villain with little actual characterization, but that didn’t stop the fandom from loving them, and they got more lore and characterization in DLC and other games in the franchise. There is soo much Murder Dragon Romanticization in the fandom and it seems to be running on sheer swag and charisma. It’s also true that canon is enough of a mess that you could make the case they’re much less evil than it seems… or maybe that’s the fandom talking. There are Tumblr folk who celebrate “Grimas” every year. Grima should absolutely be a Tumblr Sexyman: he’s the villain certain people love, dark and mysterious and eldritch and full of issues and trauma. The fan fiction this character has spawned includes some of my favorite fanworks.
Their (unwilling?) vessel is none other than the amnesiac player character Robin, who was born into an evil cult for the purpose of bringing their dark god back to life. Robin and Grima are so interconnected that the death of one means the death of the other (a great source of angst, at least until Robin is revived by the power of friendship). A lot of people headcanon that Grima and Robin are actually the same entity, and the varying interpretations of Grima and Robin and how they’re connected are such fun.
Grima is also:
-an artificial being whose creator tried to kill them
-a dragon monstrosity with six eyes and six wings that’s so huge the final battle is held on top of their back
-referred to with mostly he/him but kinda inconsistent pronouns in game, probably some genderfuckery here
-I headcanon Grima is Above Gender
-parent to a Very Traumatized child (or several)
-a GIGANTIC effing DRAGON with six eyes and six wings
-I keep wanting to add more but I can’t let my brain be consumed any further

Please vote for Lucina (AKA “Marth”). She’s my blorbo and she’s the reason I first started getting into Fire Emblem. To me she’s badass and cute and relatable and funny all at once and how did they fit this much awesome in a single character. I’m autistic and although her behavior doesn’t scream autism quite as loudly as that of some of the other characters in Awakening *cough cough Miriel* she seems very autistic to me with the overly formal way she speaks, her tendency to take things literally, her general lack of social awareness including a comically terrible fashion sense, and the way she often doesn’t get jokes. She feels personally responsible for saving the world and holds herself to such an impossibly high standard and doesn’t know how to rest or have fun because she grew up in a freaking apocalypse… I just love her so much.
Please vote for Miriel, I like Sully and all but Miriel is personally relatable to me as an autistic, awkward nerd lol
Like, everything is science to her, from the study of magic to the study of her friends’ social behavior, and she has to approach socializing in a detached and logical way because her social skills are pretty much nil 😆
Also she hyperfocuses extremely hard when she’s reading (just like meeee), shown in her support with Henry when she entirely fails to notice a snake dropping onto her from a tree and in her support with Lon’qu when he has to stop her from accidentally walking off a cliff because she’s just that into her book.
And yeah Sully is a feminist icon but in my opinion Miriel is also feminist and cool. We support women in STEM here lol
Edit: I made a typo and so I had to go back and fix it because I thought “Miriel would not stand for this.” 😆😆😆
